Yura (由良, Yūra) was a sleeper agent of Sasori. As a Sunagakure ninja, he served as a trusted member of the Kazekage advisory council of Suna for four years. He was also assigned to command the defense of Suna at the time Gaara, the Fifth Kazekage, was kidnapped. He was in charge of guarding the gate when Sasori lifted the jutsu that was blocking memories of him, Yura killed all the guards to allow Sasori's partner, Deidara, into the village. Yura was later used by Pain as a sacrifice for the Shapeshifting Technique, becoming a replica of Itachi Uchiha. This replica was defeated by Naruto with the Great Ball Rasengan. His corpse was later devoured by Zetsu.

- Yura is confirmed to be in Naruto Shippuden: Akatsuki Rising, but whether or not he is a playable character or simply included in the story cutscenes is not yet known.
