Yugakure Symbol

Symbol of Yugakure.

Yugakure (湯隠れの里, Yugakure no Sato, Literally Meaning "Village Hidden in the Hot Springs") is the village that the Akatsuki member Hidan originated from. It lies in Land of Hot Water.

Background

Once a ninja village, Yugakure decided that it didn't want to stay a hidden village and transitioned out into a peaceful and prosperous village instead. However, Hidan, growing up, already showed a tendency toward violent Jashinist ways, disagreed with this and slaughtered his neighbours before leaving the village.

Part II

The Fourth Great Shinobi War

In Naruto Shippuden Episode 262, Yugakure can be seen on a world map. Yugakure's Daimyo is also revealed briefly.[1]
