The Wind Release: Toad Gun technique is a two-way collaberation jutsu, a synchronized jutsu between Naruto and Gamatatsu. It is a wind-upgraded version of the the Water Release: Water Pistol technique.
First seen during the anime-only 'Three-Tails Arrival' filler arc, Naruto and Gamatatsu had started working on this technique. They began after they both began getting the idea of how to use the Water Release: Water Pistol technique, as Gamatasu knew no Water Release techniques prior to the training. The wind-natured chakra gives the chakra-manipulated water a boost by adding an extra dimention of power behind it as it is released.
To set up for this technique, Naruto stands behind or atop Gamatatsu, molding his wind chakra, while Gamatatsu molds his own chakra and keeps water in his mouth. When ready, Naruto signalling Gamatatsu to exhale all of the water through his mouth, combined with the wind chakra that Naruto channels into Gamatatsu. This creates a powerful and fast stream of water, which eventually spreads to cover a much larger area, but maintaining a powerful striking force due to the wind chakra.
This jutsu has tremendous power as it was easily able to blast though Guren's Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Labyrinth Technique: Because of the crystal's stable molecular structure, a simple attack focused at one point is rendered useless, as its wide surface will evenly disperse the force of the attack, reducing the attacks effectiveness. To overcome the 'Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Labyrinth' Technique, an attack thats impact force is already both wide and powerful was required to smash through it.
Later, by substituting Toad Oil for water, Naruto and Gamatatsu pulled off a variation of the Water Release: Water Pistol technique. The result was another two-way synchronized collaboration jutsu; the Wind Release: Toad Oil Bullet technique, a wind-enhanced upgrade of the Toad Oil Bullet technique.
Executed in correlation with Gamakichi's Fire Release, the Fire Release: Flame Bullet technique; a two-way synchronized collaboration jutsu, the Wind Release Toad Gun technique, can be expanded and increased into becoming a three-way collaberation jutsu, the Wind Release: Toad Oil Flame Bullet technique.
