This article is about the Wind Release technique. For anime-only character, see Fūjin. |
This technique creates a stream of high-velocity wind containing dust particles, capable of decimating anything caught in it in only a matter of moments. The completed technique is directed through vertically overlapped hands that are placed in front of the user's mouth after forming the necessary hand seals.
Trivia
- Fūjin (風塵), written with the kanji for wind (風, fū, kaze) and dust (塵, jin, chiri), can refer to three things in the Japanese language: a cloud of dust blown up by the wind; the bothersome, everyday affairs of the workaday world; and war.
- Fūjin (風神) is the Shintō god of wind, having been said to be present at the creation of the world, letting out the first winds out of his bag.
