Watase (ワタセ, Watase) is a genin-level shinobi from Konohagakure.

Personality Edit

Watase is a somewhat stubborn individual, seen from his wanting to participate in the Fourth Shinobi World War despite being too young. He is also very ambitious, and believed that connections no longer made an individual a hero, or Hokage-worthy but it was in fact, their contributions on the battlefield, citing Naruto as an example. After his encounter with Konohamaru, he now believes in the Will of Fire. He is popular as his peers apparently find him very cool.

Appearance Edit

Watase has shoulder-length, spiky brown hair which is tied into a ponytail. He has a small scar beneath his left eye and wears a high-collared, v-neck, green shirt with mesh armour underneath, grey pants and sandals.

Abilities Edit

During his short fight against Konohamaru, he showed himself capable of the main features of taijutsu.

Part II Edit

Shinobi World War Arc Edit

Watase was present at the meeting called by Ebisu where he cursed the fact that he had not been born earlier so that he could be on the battlefield. Later when Konohamaru assembled all the genin in the village to get them to face the upcoming threat, Watase told him to stop playing Hokage. A fight ensued which culminated in Watase pulling a kunai on Konohamaru. Things end before they can escalate any further and Watase later contributes to the efforts against the Sumo Wrestlers. He then told Konohamaru that he would carry on the Will of Fire.
