The Watari Ninja (渡り忍者, literally meaning: Wandering Ninja) is a small group of missing-nin led by Hōki. Most of the members wear masks to hide their identities.
Background
This group had for a long time wandered from place to place to seek out techniques to copy. At some point, Hōki decided that his clan needed some place to settle. To that end he went to the Land of Birds disguised as "Mōsō", became chief adviser to the land's daimyō, Ōwashi, and eventually assassinated him.
