Game techniques

Where are you getting these names from? One or two match some sites I saw long ago, but never managed finding again. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:44, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

Well, one thing I found to be useful when looking up game names is that if you manage getting the kanji for one of them, searching for that exact term in Google, using the quotation marks, usually lands you in a page with a list of techniques used in that game. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:54, February 21, 2012 (UTC)
Not really. Nothing that quick tweaks to information and translation can't handle. Oh, when listing game debuts, try putting the direct game instead of a redirect. Narutimate Hero 3 is listed here as "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3". I usually use a combination of Google translate, wiktionary and tangorin to see if translations look right. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:03, February 21, 2012 (UTC)
I haven't used MSN in years, I don't even know if I still know my password. I see no reason to take this away from wiki talk pages. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:10, February 21, 2012 (UTC)
You're mixing some kanji and romaji. Do you have them for that Tayuya technique earlier? You left the kanji for Red Chakra. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:12, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

Uh, the correct term is kekkei genkai, not kekkai genkai. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:49, February 21, 2012 (UTC)

Are you getting these Tobirama and Hashirama techniques from that same link? I'm not finding them. And since those don't have the kanji of them, could provide a bit more of source? Going through some of the links I have aside on my end, I found some technique names that match some of the things you added, but some don't. Also, in the Ultimate Ninja series, I can see a lot of repeated movesets across the games, so some of the articles you're creating might actually have a different game debut, or exist already under a different name. I urge you to be cautions if you're getting them from a site that's in English. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:07, February 22, 2012 (UTC)

This is the site I managed finding once with movesets on Ultimate Ninja 5, they don't have Hashirama's and Tobirama's moves though. All the sites I have though, most only give the command and the name, they don't give the technique's description. My suggestion if you want something like that is to go on youtube, like you've said, and search using the following format: "game name" "character's name" moveset. You should get at least some results. If the game you're looking through the moves is one of those that shows the commands you give when you make a combo, you can try matching them with the commands given in the site. And all I know of Japanese is what I learned watching anime. As long as you can copy/cut the names and use those three resources I told you about before (google translate/wiktionary/tangorin), you'd be surprised on how much you can translate. Game and movie techniques aren't listed in the character infoboxes because they're not canon, and frequently do things that go against canon, such as characters knowing techniques they don't, or even using natures they can't use, or things that are meant to be impossible. For example, it's pretty common in games for Jiraiya to have a Fire Release Rasengan. If you want a list of their techniques which includes game and movie techniques, just click on the jutsu link in the top of the of the list, that'll take you to a list containing all techniques they use in all media. Where did you get Shark Skin Shock Blast? In the sites I found kanji for techniques of that game, none of Kisame's techniques had Samehada in their names. The sites I found are in the game's talk page. Of them doesn't have a direct link to their Kisame section, but if you google the kanji I listed for one of the other technique you created (just changed shaking to quaking), you'll find the page. You're playing the game? Great. In those sites I mentioned at the talk page, pretty much all of the techniques have listed commands. The techniques I managed finding that are new to that game are listed in the first topic of ShounenSuki's talk page, with my attempts of translating them. It would be great if you could match what you see based on the commands. How are you playing the game as far as audio and subtitles are concerned? There's this one technique from that game, Mei's technique in her awakened form (which we currently list as Boil Release: Sinful Lotus Technique), I never managed finding the Japanese name anywhere. Anyway you can try getting a screenshot? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 19:30, February 23, 2012 (UTC)

Is Cherry Blossom Blaze Clash Sakura's ultimate technique? Because I found these as her techniques that are exclusive to this game: Quaking Leg (震脚, Shinkyaku): Kick to the ground with the heel, but no jumping before it. Righteous Fist Thrust (正拳突き, Seikentsuki): Strong punch. Initiation/Instruction: Heavenly Foot of Pain (伝授・痛天脚, Denju: Tsūtenkyaku) Cherry Blossom Violent/Furious Impact (桜花烈衝, Ōkaretsushō)

Commands for each are here. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 19:46, February 23, 2012 (UTC)

Mei isn't actually playable in the game. There was one video I remember seeing of someone playing as her, but I also remember something about that being a hacked game, which was the reason someone was able to play as her. For future reference, here's the circumstances that precede the attack: Ao will say something that Mei will misinterpret as a comment on her being old or single, and she'll enter her awakening, which is her pissed off, with sort of a black mist around her. Her default attack is a powerful punch. When Ao speaks something again, she'll be pissed and start the technique. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:06, February 23, 2012 (UTC)

You need to pay attention to technique classifications. You're listing several techniques as ninjutsu, but in the description you're writing down, most of the times they're taijutsu. Also, avoid using "will do" format. Give preference to using the present for those cases. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:36, March 25, 2012 (UTC)

Lightning Release Wall

Does any character actually call it "Lightning Release Wall"? I looked up what appears to be the kanji for it based on the romaji and got nothing. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:50, March 4, 2012 (UTC)

Flight Technique

Hi. Do you think that Yomito Hirasaka and Gensui Amagiri should be considered users of the Flight Technique? To me it looks more like levitation so I decided to make a page called "Levitation Technique", but a message came up saying that a page with that name already exists. Apparently, "Flight" and "Levitation" are considered the same thing, but I think there is a slight differance. TheGrudge (talk) 21:08, March 6, 2012 (UTC)

Burrial versus Burial

Hi! Is that really spelled 'burrial' or 'burial'? :) --IndxcvNovelist (Talk to Me) 14:39, April 9, 2012 (UTC)

No, I move it to another name! :D Look! Fountain Burial Dust it still exists. :)) I just think this Fountain Burrial Dust should be deleted because it's wrong spelling and it's not a good redirect page.--IndxcvNovelist (Talk to Me) 04:36, April 10, 2012 (UTC)
