Hey Speysider, how's it going? I see that you recently archived your talkpage. I would like to do it with mine too but I don't know how. Mind telling me? :D Norleon (talk) 09:41, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

Oh man, it really is so damn easy....I feel like I should've found that out by myself....:D Anyway, thank you very much! ;)Norleon (talk) 10:01, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

FTG Kunai

Hey, I made an edit to the flying thunder god kunai page about minato knowing what was happening around his kunai and i wanted to know why you changed it. —This unsigned comment was made by Mr JCM (talkcontribs) on 17:28, August 5, 2013 (UTC).

Thanks for adding that message. I can already tell that's going to be a headache for the next week. If you notice its getting bad, let me know and I'll protect the page, or at the very least, the infobox. ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 12:53, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

You've got it. One Barrier no Jutsu coming right up :P ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 12:57, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

Re:Wiki Linking

Speysider, that edit was obviously a careless mistake on my part. Lol, it was the manner in which I was editing the page that led to the typo. But, I have been on the wiki long enough to know how to link properly. Look at my contributions. So again, if it offended you so much that you believed me to an ignorant editor, just pause, know that I apologise, and that I wont let it happen again. ^_^ p.s. almost at a 1000 edits. Good to know there's no hard feelings xD. Sorry if it sounded like I took it personal. Thanks Spey. But, I have a question regarding your opinion. How do you think the chakra stakes were created? By Madara as well, right? Senju SymbolKotoSenju (OldUser:JaZZBaND)-Talk-Contributions 13:13, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

Gotcha. Thanks anyway Spey =] Senju SymbolKotoSenju (OldUser:JaZZBaND)-Talk-Contributions 13:18, August 7, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Obito's paths

That's a good image, Spey-kun ^_^ ... I had the same problem on yesterday when I uploaded an image from yesterday's chapter and I don't know what's the problem. So I uploaded it again to replace the cracked one. 12:02, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

By the way, where did you find that image? I had to download yesterday's episode with 720p because I couldn't find it with 1080p until it's been released today. 18:14, August 9, 2013 (UTC)

Damn, how did I forget the Crunchyroll?! And you have a premium account there?! How lucky you are... THAT'S REALLY AMAZING ^_^ 18:20, August 9, 2013 (UTC)
Heh, I already know that... Same with any media player programs that the subtitles could be disabled before screencapping the images. Good indeed :) 18:29, August 9, 2013 (UTC)

Sage Mode

What's your opinion on the whole Sage Mode ordeal? I mean, just between us. I think they decided to let it drop over there until we get more clarification, but, based on what we know, do you believe animals, like Gamakichi can legitimately use Sage Mode? ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 00:45, August 12, 2013 (UTC)

No problem. The guy was clearly out looking for trouble. Not only did he override the Madara image with the same one we told him no about, he then proceeded to come back over to you and try to pick a fight. Issuing another set of warnings would've been pointless so I took care of it for longer this time. ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 09:52, August 12, 2013 (UTC)

Re:720p upload template

Oops, sorry about that.

Thanks for telling. --SovanDara18 (talk) 10:46, August 15, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Spacing Edits

I changed the spacing according to the apparent standard I see in such lists in other articles. Most lists like that I see have spaces, if not all. It might not show in the actual article, but it looks awful and cramped when editing the page in source mode when these don't match up. And besides, the list was in that format already before your edit, with a space between the * and the word. I could put thirty spaces between words in the same line, and they'd still render as one. I don't know why Kunoichi101 was removing those commas, but I do know why they get added sometimes. When stuff gets added to those forms via suggestion and auto-complete, a comma (and maybe a space) get added automatically. That doesn't happen if you type out the name, or if you delete the comma after inserting it, prior to saving the edit. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 16:56, August 16, 2013 (UTC)

Re: Request

Uhm, I have to ask why. I don't see a problem with using a W instead of writing out the entire word. In fact it's quite convenient in my opinion. There are times when you have to external link things and it's much quicker to just type "W". Just like the -L instead of having to type "break" all the time. Either way, I think you should ask more people about it...--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 20:07, August 18, 2013 (UTC)

Agreed with Cerez. I actually find said template to be quite handy. I've used it on a number of other wikis (never here though o.O Didn't know you guys had it), and it really does save time, rather than having to type out the Wikipedia template - [[wikipedia:[Article Name]|(Article name again)]], and rather just slap the aritlces name in there {{w|article name}} and just be done with it. Sure, one may see it as laziness, but I ask you, what is so wrong with making something that can be time consuming, even by a few seconds, an unnecessary step? ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 20:12, August 18, 2013 (UTC)
I wouldn't necessarily disagree with the "lazy editing" part. But templates are the "cheat codes", if you will, to Wikia syntax. I mean, I don't need to tell you; I'm sure you've seen hundreds of template coding. If we want to talk about "lazy editing" and proper syntax writing, that's how its done. Using the code directly. Templates, on the other hand, allow use a shortcut passed that. And Template:W is just removing one step from a template, and making it easier to use, which, I would think, should be encouraged. Especially on a Wikia environment. The truth is that regular readers don't care which templates we use, so long as they get their information correctly. So, I'd say, as long as the link goes to the proper place, if something makes it easier for our editors to get information out there, even if its a menial task such as removing one step from an old template to make it easier to link said information, go for it. That kind of change isn't something you want to combat. ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 20:21, August 18, 2013 (UTC)

I can't agree there. I mostly edit and I'm lazy, I have no problem with the template. If there's small stuff we or anyone can do to make that easier I'm all for it. I once update an article solely through speech to text technology. If it wasn't for the fact that it doesn't recognise some words, I'd use it all the time.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol(talk) 20:25, August 18, 2013 (UTC)

But by that same logic, we should get rid of the infobox templates. Do you know how long it takes to load pages like Naruto's and Obito's? Forever, compared to the others. Also, templates for "bold" and "italics" is a rather bad example, don't you think? They're already simplified versions of other templates. For example, '''bold''' is a lot faster than <b>bold</b> even though the latter is more correct to the syntax than the former. Same for the templates we use for italics. Also, Template:W and Template:Wikipedia use the same basic format, the only difference is you don't have to type an article name twice, which you do in the latter, rather than typing it once. Also, I ask you why readers would care what templates of syntax we use? One would think that, unless they were also an editor, they wouldn't care what templates we use. Furthermore, a lot of wikis are phasing the old Wikipedia template out, in favor of this new one, so I ask why they would care that we use it? In fact, Wikia itself tried to simplify syntax by creating a Rich Text Editor (which I abhor, but see the practicality of it), so even Wikia doesn't care if we can use the base syntax. Its a website, and more people can contribute if the templates are simple and easy to use. The simpler, the better, as more can lend their hands to the process. At the end of the day, that's all I, and others, as editors care about; readers don't care at all; and even Wikia themselves would encourage it. I get that it peeves you when others use simplified routes, but "lazy editing" is a rather silly term to use. We're not running a gun-making factory here; we're trying to present an information in the simplest, and easiest manner possible. How we go about that, is our choice, and I think you will find that more people are in support of making any complicated process easier in the long run, than those that will oppose it. Especially for reasons like "lazy editing. ~ Ten Tailed Fox Yamagakure Symbol 20:45, August 18, 2013 (UTC)
