Hello Sorrel, I notice you have been making a number of edits using the incorrect romaji for names.
Please note that there are two types of romaji in common use. Wāpuro rōmaji which fansubs and scanalations use, and revised Hepburn romanization which is used by Wikipedia and likely also used by both Viz and Databooks when the official English and romanized versions of names are created.
We use hepburn romanization, while fansubs use Wāpuro, this means a lot of names copied directly from fansubs are incorrect. The main difference between Wāpuro and revised hepburn is that Wāpuro uses "ou" and "uu" while revised hepburn uses "ō" and "ū". Names like "Yurinojou" coming from fan material should be converted to "Yurinojō" when posted here.
See the Narutopedia:Naming policy for more information, ShounenSuki is also a helpful person to go to when you have the Japanese for a character's name and you want the romaji and other information for it. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Mar 19, 2009 @ 02:25 (UTC)
- To add to that, you're wasting your time by changing redirects. The purpose of redirects is so that an entire term doesn't need to be written out when linked to and/or a few dozen pages don't need to be updated when a page is moved. Similarly, changing things like [[jutsu]] to [[Jutsu|jutsu]] makes no difference whatsoever. I know you mean well, but your time would be better spent on something else. ~SnapperTo 19:46, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
- And to add to that, changin simple to capital, adding or removing a last name, changin pain to naguto, and naguto to pain is not helping...its just very annoying.....please, for the love of god, dont make such minor edits...AlienGamer Talk
i edited the Hiramekarei page with my own knowledge. when raiga first took out his lightning fangs, they were wrapped up almost to the point of being ovals. he used lightning to take off the wrappings. your change made me feel idiotic, but i watched that episode again, and i was right, please don't change it again.
please stop doing what you're doing with the references. Find other ways to boost your edit count. Like maybe, possibly, actually making useful edits.--Cerez365™☺ 20:46, April 17, 2011 (UTC)
