uhhhh

Is there any reason why you have unconditionally removed very valid redirects for the old titles? That's a very great way to annoy editors and cause people to recreate pages, especially as now a lot of links off-wiki are now probably broken. I understand the removal of talkpage redirects, but not those of alternate title redirects. Please restore them, they should be left for legacy reasons and redirected to the new titles. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 12:16, December 13, 2014 (UTC)

Even if that were the case, there is no reason to delete redirects, they contribute no additional space to the database. It's better to simply repoint them to the intended target. The only case where a redirect should be removed is in the case of files, templates, userpages/user talkpages and orphaned talkpage redirects, but mainspace redirects should be left as mentioned previously. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 19:17, December 13, 2014 (UTC)

databook

Snapper2, please stop changing the chapter numbers for Fated Battle Between Brothers and Pain's Assault (Arc), the databook information for the arcs have been revised. Please go here for more information: User:WindStar7125/Sandbox. Do not reply to this message. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 18:50, December 14, 2014 (UTC)

You can draw as many conclusions as you wish, but the fourth databook revised the arc information and the wiki is taking steps to correct the information we already stated. Therefore, your information is now wrong.
Please do not revert war, you should know better as a sysop to actually use a talkpage and make your case as to why you think you are right. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 18:55, December 14, 2014 (UTC)
Hurling abuse at editors? Do you want to lose your sysop flag? It would take me no time at all to make a thread for community consensus on you losing your sysop flag.
Also, can you stop being a hypocrite? You told everyone to use a bot to fix links, yet you are mass editing yourself. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 19:02, December 14, 2014 (UTC)
Shoot, I made a crucial mistake. Fated Battle Between Brothers ends at volume 44, meaning chapter 412. Pain's Assault (Arc) starts at volume 45, meaning 413. Snapper2 is correct. Please, Snapper2, I'm so sorry about that. I take full responsibility for misleading SuperSajuuk. ~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 19:05, December 14, 2014 (UTC)
It's ok Windy.
Snapper2, why are you mass editing? Aren't you the one who wants everyone using bots? Stop being hypocritical. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 19:17, December 14, 2014 (UTC)

Apology

Snapper2, I'm terribly sorry for making that mistake and causing you to get into it with SuperSajuuk. If this is anyone's fault, it's mine. He was misled by MY mistake. ~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 19:12, December 14, 2014 (UTC)

Mass editing

Umm... Snapper? I was under the impression you'd rather use bots than mass editing. And you almost blocked Sajuuk for doing so. Can you please explain to me what you're doing by mass editing yourself? ~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 19:19, December 14, 2014 (UTC)

You there? ~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 19:29, December 14, 2014 (UTC)
I don't want to sound too critical of you then, but why do you push for bots to be used for links when users can just utilize "Whatlinkshere" and manually edits links like you and Sajuuk are doing? ~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 19:41, December 14, 2014 (UTC)
Oh, OK then. :) It was just strange to me how you were going to block Sajuuk a month ago for mass editing and not using a bot, then you mass edited yourself just now (In fact, I also did some mass editing myself on Dec 5...) But okay then, I'll leave it alone. ^_^ Again, sorry for the misunderstanding earlier. ~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 20:06, December 14, 2014 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry

Uh, Snapper? The user you blocked, named MuhammadSarutobi, is at it again with the sockpuppetry. After creating two accounts, he's created a third one. He's not stopping. I've talked to him though. And he's indicated he's not going to stop. Not sure what to do, so I ask this instead: may you please talk to him or something? Maybe he'll listen to a sysop.

Subs

Hey Snapper2, im not sure who to ask but considering your a sysop and very knowledgeable, do you know how reliable the subs are on CR? I'm only asking this because this wiki sends people to watch their episodes from our episode infoboxs, so i presume their reliable? Im bringing this up because their subs say Kinkaku killed Tobirama and im wanting to know if they subbed it wrong or if the dialog is changed from what is said in the manga. Thanks --Sarutobii2 (talk) 15:10, December 18, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for clearing things up. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 18:58, December 18, 2014 (UTC)

Ages

Why do you keep changing the ages? Yamato was placed as 26 in the third databook but that was by the event of the Itachi Pursuit Mission. Kotetsu turned 29. Izumo's birthday was in November thus meaning he didn't turn another year older unlike his partner. Naruto turned 17 by the end of Shippūden but the month only followed in October possibly a few days later but not into November. --Rai 水 (talk) 20:56, December 18, 2014 (UTC)

However, Kotetsu's birthday passed in July. Meaning he turned of age 29. His partner would still be 28 since his birthday didn't come yet following the end of the war in Chapter 699. Approximately a year and a half has passed in since the start of Shippūden. Kotetsu would count in the age movement considering his birthday and when the series of Shippūden stopped. As for Yamato, in the third databook he was stated to be 26 but that was following the events of the Itachi Pursuit Mission. Before such events, he would be 25. By the time of the Hidan and Kakuzu Arc, at least half of the year passed. Genma was debuted earlier, at least in the anime and half year later he turned 33, and a year later, 34. Despite Kishi not stating some ages we can make analogies because he messes up a whole lot.

P.S. I'm creating a timeline of my own, hopefully to give a good representation of the events. I know Tau has one but I'll do one for my sake. All in all, I've made good analysis in the time periods and can be very certain of these people's ages, honestly. --Rai 水 (talk) 07:57, December 19, 2014 (UTC)

We are nit correcting the databook, we are updating. So if a character was shown in Part 1, given age 13 even in the databooks, shows up three years later with no age in the databook then do we just ignore it? No, we place what info needs to be placed. Databooks are suppose be helpful with info but no offense to Kishi but he contradicts alot of crap. If you are aware if Naruto's timeline you'd understand. Naruto left in January before the 17th before Gaara turned 14. Two and a half years, meaning Naruto returned in July. Almost 2 years have past since the start of Shippūden. Naruto turned 16 then 17th of October 10th. Kotetsu was 25 when Naruto left and his birthday is in July. Do the math. Kotetsu would have turned 29 by the end of Shippūden. --Rai 水 (talk) 08:07, December 20, 2014 (UTC)

what

I don't care what the wiki uses, this goes against our naming policy for anime episodes. Crunchyroll, Wikipedia and the OFFICIAL DVD's use "Bee". You using "B" is breaking the naming standards and being inconsistent, not to mention the redirect you have for the REAL title goes to the wrong fucking page. Stop creating double standards. You will not go against the naming standards which we have for anime episodes. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 13:45, December 28, 2014 (UTC)

Redirects

SnapperTwo, are there any use for redirect pages such as Sakura Uchiha and Hinata Uzumaki? Shouldn't they be deleted or something? They were never stated.
~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 23:54, December 30, 2014 (UTC)

They should be left. The redirects were created to stop people constantly moving Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyuga to those titles. Tagging them for deletion will simply cause us problems. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 11:30, December 31, 2014 (UTC)
Well, "Hinata Uzumaki" was already deleted, so...
~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 19:00, December 31, 2014 (UTC)
It was deleted because Elveonora was reverting movepage vandalism and suppressed the redirect. That technically doesn't count, I've recreated the redirect there to stop further potential "vandalism" and page creations at that title. :P --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 19:20, December 31, 2014 (UTC)
I guess nothing is stopping you from removing the deletion tag I put on "Sakura Uchiha" then.
~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 19:25, December 31, 2014 (UTC)
The pages are all move-protected, so don't keep the redirects on that account. ~SnapperTo 19:15, January 1, 2015 (UTC)
There's a chance the redirect titles will be searched for, so it's better to keep them. Plus, if there was no article at the title they're expecting, it's a possibility a page may be created there in error. The redirects -- imo -- prevent the creation of duplicate articles and cover alternate titles. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 20:00, January 1, 2015 (UTC)

re: intro

Okay then, just trying to help out. You being a sysop wasn't my only reasoning though. Like I told him (twice already), in Naruto's article, we do not refer to the fox by its name until it is revealed in Part II, just like we don't refer to Tobi as "Obito" until the time period he is revealed Part II in various articles, all due to spoilers (told him this twice). Keeping the consistency and lowering spoilers was my complete reasoning besides keeping what you had. But I'll do as you say and omit that part next time, SnapperTwo.

Cumbersome articles

Okay. I do agree with your notion on simplifying a couple things in articles, but I am beginning to get the sense that, in terms of pictures, we're overdoing it a bit. Some articles are just being plain stuffed with photos from the manga. I've decided to remove some. Thoughts?
~•WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 00:56, January 5, 2015 (UTC)

Picture-per-paragraph policy? I see. Is there a link to that? As a response to your suggestion: So you're saying that to possibly reduce the number of photos in very long articles like Naruto's or Sasuke's, we should be as brief and concise as possible with words and such?
--WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 23:42, January 12, 2015 (UTC)
Understandable. And you are correct, people have added some images back. Thank you for the advice. --WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 00:10, January 13, 2015 (UTC)
I have noticed that in Naruto's, Sasuke's, and Kakashi's articles, the anime-only arcs are omitted to further shorten the article. Would it be valid to do perform the same action to Sakura's article, considering hers is the fourth longest page on this wikia?
It is also interesting to note that some anime-only arcs in her article are already omitted, and some are still there.
--WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 04:42, January 13, 2015 (UTC)

SnapperTwo, I have noticed that in Naruto and Sasuke's articles, summaries that potentially lead to anime-only arcs have been removed. For instance, this in Naruto's article and this in Sasuke's (which is understandable). To further thin articles like these (such as Kakashi's, Sakura's, etc), would it not be valid to remove any paragraphs that sequentially start out with "In the anime, this happened" (was unsure when the user did so in the link, therefore I restored it) and/or attempt to leave links to them (if possible) to keep the consistency and further thin these articles? -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 23:45, January 16, 2015 (UTC)

I see your point then. I just happened to notice that anime-only arcs in Naruto and Sasuke's article have long been removed though.... and technically, it is all documented in the articles that are linked to, so it is not totally gone... but I understand where you are coming from. -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 00:11, January 17, 2015 (UTC)
Oh. That was the reason? Well then... we will find another way to shorten the long articles. Any more suggestions? I do recall you saying that you are confident we can shorten Sasuke and Kakashi's articles on TheUltimateThree's talkpage. -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 00:24, January 17, 2015 (UTC)

Sorry to butt in, but Muncvtec is right, this policy is only for removing material in the User's talkpages. Sorry If I'm going out of bounds by interrupting your "discussion".--Omojuze (talk) 19:47, January 12, 2015 (UTC)
Not to butt in, but the rule regarding "removal of messages" only affects user talkpages. There has never been such a rule for article talkpages, which is why we get to remove messages that were bumping old discussions.
Please do not make up rules just to give users warnings because you do not personally like their edits. I see you do this on a fairly regular basis to a number of users, you should know better. --Sajuuk [Mod] Talk Page | Contribs | Channel 19:48, January 12, 2015 (UTC)

re: redirects

Redirects left over from file moves need to be blanked or they mess with file usage and a load of other things. I've done it before and never had anyone complain, so no reason why I need to be told this. You deleted the redirect anyway, so no idea why you needed to message me at all. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 18:42, February 2, 2015 (UTC)

Using the example of the redirect you were talking about, the file showed up as being linked on the page of the redirect. That means Special:UnusedFiles won't record it because it's "used".
And there is no reason to go look up what was on the page before replacement, I gave a very obvious reason what the page content was. Or is stating "redirect left from file move" not blatantly obvious it's a redirect? o.O
File moves should generally be performed by rollbacks so that they can suppress the redirect and use an updating script to quickly update the links without needing a redirect. While users can move files, they cannot suppress redirects which causes problems. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 18:59, February 2, 2015 (UTC)

request

Despite you telling Munchvtec to stop editing old discussions, he still continues to edit old discussions. I ask that you step in and deal with the situation, especially as he seems to believe that two warnings by other editors does not constitute a reason for him to stop making these edits. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 15:22, March 17, 2015 (UTC)

I haven't had much time to look at all edits, these were the ones which I noticed and found annoying. Like you may have seen with Kunoichi, he is simply inventing a reason to contribute, especially as I also asked him quite firmly to stop making these kind of edits. I am pretty sure you did ask him not to edit any comments, but that may have been a different sysop though.
However, I ask that you still step in and ask him to simply stop inventing reasons to contribute. If he doesn't have anything to contribute, inventing jobs that are un-needed and unimportant (to quote your message to Kunoichi101 when you blocked her for 3 days) isn't a suitable alternative. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 18:22, March 17, 2015 (UTC)

Infinite

The contributions of this user do not warrant an infinite block for no reason. They were minor vandalism that only justified a 3 day block. You really need to calm that block finger and not make infinite no-reason blocks just because you can. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 18:31, March 24, 2015 (UTC)

re: Kunoichi101

These kind of warnings are utterly meaningless to her. She just ignores them, I really don't know why she hasn't yet been infinite blocked for literally ignoring every single request possible. I'm pretty sure she has been told loads of times to use the preview button, but she won't listen as she's more interested in doing edits "just in case", which is a lame reason. So yeah, I think you should just infinite block her and the wiki can be done with her annoying edits. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 17:39, March 28, 2015 (UTC)

Thnx for reminding me about that. but like wind star said he already told me about that before the preview became different in two ways while mobile and desktop. of course sometimes i try to test the preview button or not. i'll try to use whenever i want to. MultipleUpload

Hi. Since you seem to be the most active sysop to edit, I'll ask my question here. You might have noticed I've been uploading images of techniques from Naruto: Clash of Ninja Revolution 2. Filling out the upload form is a somewhat tedious task. It's fine if the image to be uploaded is one, but when more than one images with the same description are to be uploaded, it's a bit annoying to use the upload page. I would use the multipleUpload page, but it seems to be broken, in the sense that I'm not able to select any images to upload. I know this might as well be a bug within Wikia, but since this wiki is customized heavily, I thought of asking before filing in a bug report. Cheers, -- sqm 19:04, 04.05.2015

re: posts

Please stop going into public discussion threads I create just to whine about some minor little detail you noticed in the post. You should know that this is only going to cause problems and that you should direct your "minor" nitpicks about my posts to my talkpage. Every time you show up, the thread is derailed into irrelevancy, which resulted in a user asking an unnecessary question about something that had NOTHING to do with the topic at hand: ask yourself why that is. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 22:35, April 11, 2015 (UTC)

There is no chance that the forummod flag will become viral (I'm not having forum mods going around giving those tools to any random user they want without discussions), but I have asked UltimateSupreme if he can contact Wikia about making forum ops being able to grant (but not revoke) the flag: this way, forum ops can grant the tools (after an obvious discussion) but sysops will still be able to grant/revoke the flags as per normal.
I suspect that will cause issues and cause people to complain anyway, but I really don't know why you are treating the flag itself like it has more tools: the forummod flag actually has lesser tools than the forumadmin flag, and the proposal is intended to grant some users the forummod flag, not forumadmin, which is where I think your confusion lies.
Furthermore, you wrongly assumed that the promotions would be discussed in private and that sysops would not be involved. That was not the intention. Like I explained to you later (which you conveniently chose to completely ignore) in the thread, the intention was to talk with the candidates about their high support, then me and WindStar would form the list of users who had accepted and then pass the list to a sysop for them to grant the rights.
But instead, you were more interested about persistently whining in the thread and ignoring repeated requests to use my talkpage. I'll be later removing those posts so people are not distracted or intimidated by the pointless side chatter that wasn't necessary, which you could have avoided if you actually used my talkpage in the first place.
There's nothing to change and I'll ask that you not go in and make any edits to the post as you please. If I want to correct it, I will do so later, not because I am "forced", and I don't think making indirect "demands" by suggesting that you won't "stop talking about it until I do as you ask" will get me to do anything quicker either. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 23:02, April 11, 2015 (UTC)

Kunoichi101

Hey. Since you have blocked Kunoichi101 in the past about her edit practices, I'd like to request you to keep an eye on every edit she makes. I (and probably many on this wiki) have really had enough of her inability to listen to other editors. So if she continues to make unimportant edits or makes many edits in a row without using preview, please step in. I have messaged a few other sysops about this issue, so they'll also be watching. Thank you. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 20:14, April 13, 2015 (UTC)

It only took 30 seconds for Kunoichi101 to basically disregard my entire warning. So you are perfectly free to go ahead and infinite block the user. I have had enough and this wiki has probably had enough patience for her. She doesn't contribute and even admitted she has no clue how to contribute here. So yeah, infinite block. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 21:38, April 13, 2015 (UTC)

re: novels

Of course, I am aware of that. It's hard to distinguish between, but, even though they're mentioned, it's still a debut, but a "(mentioned)" next to it would be nice. I'll go around fixing that :) And that's for your work, hope I don't bother you in any way, and if I am, tell me and I'll stop xD--Omojuze (talk) 17:28, April 16, 2015 (UTC)

Well, a "mention" in a way is a debut as the novel makes clear of the characters/techniques existance.--Omojuze (talk) 17:34, April 16, 2015 (UTC)
Ok. Agreed. But what to do in the case of Mui, whose technique and occupation was mentioned alongside him. And what to do with other such cases in the future, like with Danzō?--Omojuze (talk) 17:43, April 16, 2015 (UTC)
Hey. I just noticed that you re-added Mui and his technique's "appearance" as mentioned with your reasoning being smw media filtering. If that's the case, we might as well add other mentioned techniques (like Shapeshifting Technique) and characters (like Orochimaru) in that case or remove them all-together and note in the trivia of their mentions.--Omojuze (talk) 08:19, May 14, 2015 (UTC)
Yeah, I haven't forgotten that. Just figured that it was pointless and could've just added to the trivia. But yeah, it can stay. Sorry for your time :P--Omojuze (talk) 14:31, May 14, 2015 (UTC)

Chapters template

Hi Snapper-sama, since we'll get the new mini-series in the next week. I think it's better to create a new template/form for those chapters that are different from the ordinary chapters that we have. The users will tend to create those chapters articles when they'll be out but also the user will face something wrong for creating them with the old form. So your thoughts? —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 22:11, April 16, 2015 (UTC)

Okay, I didn't think it with that way, perhaps you're right. We can reset the numbering set for the mini-series case. As known in the episode template, the original anime and Shippūden are distinguished with check option. So you can add that option for the chapter template if possible. —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 18:23, April 17, 2015 (UTC)

novel content

Since you did so much for the novels to be here, I thought to ask you directly. Do we add the novel's content to the main articles, for example under "abilities"? I started reading the Kakashi Hiden and right in the first chapter, Naruto uses the Shadow Clone Technique with just one hand. Do we add stuff like this to the respective articles? I'm really sure it's true, the first novel based on the Land of Waves arc is Team Kakashi's debut. Kunoichi101 (talk) 01:30, April 21, 2015 (UTC)
This would be an example of taking the word "debut" too literally. Do Sasuke and others appear in the Land of Waves novel? Yes. Does that mean it needs to be listed in their infoboxes? Not necessarily.
We don't have an article for that book, we won't have an article for that book, so for sanity's sake just pretend it doesn't exist. ~SnapperTo 03:33, April 21, 2015 (UTC)

Hey Snapper, There seems to be an issue with this as it concerns appearing in the previous Raikage's infobox. Same with the other Raikage as well. No matter how much I null edit it won't appear. Missing-nin

Hey Snapper, I saw your edit to the missing-nin article and it got me thinking. Since Sasuke became a missing-nin, but wasn't pursued by Tsunade as a favor to Naruto, why wasn't Sasuke listed as S-rank when Danzō revoked Tsunade's order to have him executed? Is it because Sasuke never commited crimes against the village? Also, is there a fix for this when it comes to the 1st three Raikage?--Minamoto15 (talk) 20:50, May 6, 2015 (UTC)

Playable character formatting

Wouldn't be better if the lists were laid out like this:

  • Naruto Uzumaki
    • Part I (One-Tailed Form)
    • Part II (Four-Tailed Form)
    • Sage Mode (Six-Tailed Form)
    • Five Kage Summit (Nine-Tails Chakra Mode)
    • Shinobi World War (Nine-Tails Chakra Mode)
    • Tailed Beast Chakra Mode (Kurama Mode)
    • Six Paths Sage Mode
    • The Last

instead of just listing in a table with one character who has multiple slots and all their awakenings and not the variants listed? Would be more understanding for the wiki viewers. --OmegaRasengan (talk) 18:41, May 18, 2015 (UTC)

re: "untrue"

If these are untrue, then explain why many of the character articles don't include descriptions of the character's involvement in anime only arcs, excluding characters who only appear in a specific arc? --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 21:18, May 23, 2015 (UTC)

Personally, I think cutting out the descriptions of what characters do in fillers helps to keep articles short. You yourself are a proponent for short articles and simply leaving a link to the arc page for fillers is easier. Like what should be done for a character's appearance in a movie, since it cuts down on length. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 12:50, May 24, 2015 (UTC)
I don't agree with that, and here's why.
In the case of the Six Paths of Pain appearing in the Six-Tails Unleashed arc, their appearance does not warrant any descriptive information at all as their appearance accumulates about 10 seconds screentime, if that. A majority of canon characters who appear in filler arcs are the same, unless they're the main characters or the main allies/antagonists of the story line.
So for the most part, removing descriptions from characters who don't exclusively appear in a filler arc under the appropriate heading on their page is a good way to making articles shorter and I disagree strongly that it makes people "lazy". If anything, it's an indication we're only writing descriptions for characters with a substantial appearance in a filler.
The above holds true for a character's appearance in movies. I removed about 1k of information from the Naruto page simply by converting all the headings for his appearance in movies to just use the {{Main}} template, since it is obvious that Naruto is in every movie.
This should not be done in the instances of characters who have exclusively appeared in a filler arc only, since that is necessary to state.
I would encourage you not to just quote yourself to justify a question, rather I would encourage you to quote others who have said similar things. Quoting yourself makes your argument seem weak and only based on personal opinion, rather than the opinion of the wiki as a whole. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 18:10, May 24, 2015 (UTC)
I'm quoting myself because a) you are asking my reasons, and b) I have previously given my reasons. My reasons have not changed between then and now, so I freely recycle them.
That may be true, but as I've said before, not everyone (correction: hardly anyone) seems to share your sentiment. Yes, I did ask you, but that didn't mean I asked specifically for your reasons. I was simply making a statement that, technically, your revert was also untrue, since loads of other articles are the same, so I was simply making it consistent.
If you or someone else were to put the time into making those sections shorter then that would make a substantially greater impact than is made by indiscriminately removing content from certain media.
You know I don't read the manga, so I can't trim that stuff until the anime reaches these points. Maybe, when the anime reaches these points, I may become able to trim the content.
Nobody else really bothers to trim content, since we all know you are the master of trimming content, so we just leave you to work on it. But you seem more focused on trimming already short articles to make them even shorter, sometimes unnecessarily removing valid content.
Naruto's article has serious size issues and the main culprit is the summary of his actions from chapter ~550 onwards.
It's currently locked due to edit warring.
I believe you've previously expressed the sentiment that the wiki should not exclusively cater to the manga and databook crowd, yet doing this basically caters to the manga and databook crowd.
That is not true, removing the descriptions of a character's involvement in a filler is something that the wiki has long since done. I don't see why that should change simply on the basis that you don't agree. You should form a consensus in the forums to get the opinions of the wiki as a whole. If the wiki doesn't agree, you can't then complain when people do the action you think is bad. o.O
Again, make a thread in the forums. It is more likely than not that people simply do not care, or maybe they feel that, as the only proponent for cutting articles, you should be the one doing it. But instead, you focus on the already short pages and mass deleting pictures, which are not a priority and complain about large articles not being trimmed. Consider the fact that maybe people think there is nothing to remove without removing valid content. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 18:38, May 24, 2015 (UTC)
So you're acknowledging you're removing valid content. We've come so far!
I didn't say that. And we can both play the sarcastic replies game if you want.
I imagine you would have found the time by now if you wanted to. ... Extraordinarily, I do things other than contribute to this wiki.
Extraordinary. Maybe you forgot a few things:
  • I have a YouTube channel to run that provides my only source of income (something which you don't have)
  • I manage other wiki's, not just this one (something which you don't do, looking at your masthead)
  • I play a lot of video games for the first bullet point
  • I have, so far, had little free time due to something called... *gasp* a degree
Unlike you, my sole focus on Wikia is not a single wiki and my focus on multiple wiki's is not just the content or complaining. So before you start attacking me for not doing anything, maybe you should get the facts right.
What are the priorities then?
Cleaning up articles, making sure everything is properly referenced and accurate and ensuring that the wiki is happy. Minor maintenance, such as that from deleting pictures, is not a priority. I notice that you are on here, nearly every day and it takes you many hours just to make a small number of contributions. Maybe you need to sort the priorities of how you use your time on the wiki, maybe leaving the maintenance of unused pics to other people to manage. o.O
And please, if your going to reply, don't just quote very small phrases of my message and reply to every single little bit, I find that very irritating and annoying, not to mention that it makes it seem like you have nothing better to do. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 19:29, May 24, 2015 (UTC)
*insert wall of text about yourself here*
Maybe if you included some of that information on your userpage, instead of an utterly useless brick wall, then you wouldn't get criticised when people can't understand why you do certain things.
I haven't got my degree yet, have just finished the second year, but thanks anyway ;)
And it would have been nicer if your userpage mentioned your experiences on other wiki's, even if you don't use this account to edit them. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 20:18, May 24, 2015 (UTC)

Alright im not fussed with adding probable methods to get all 5 which we haven't seen, but i don't see the list being much longer if we were to add known ways of acquiring additional natures. How many examples are there because the only one that comes to mind is Yamato gaining earth/water when he was a kid through getting wood release. --Sarutobii2 (talk) 05:40, June 5, 2015 (UTC)

I explained to Munch the reasons why TranClan was consensus'd on chat.
Also, I do wish you'd stop writing edit reasons when you edit comments in the forums, suggesting things like "don't edit others comments" are totally unwanted and can be seen as an attempt for you to boss people around. Comments are SUPPOSED to be edited by forum moderators if they either break forum policy or add unnecessary content and detract from the thread.
This is important for consensus discussions which need focus: things like "Madara might've dropped a meteor on his house" are unwanted in consensus discussions which are supposed to be serious.
Please stop trying to tell forum operators how to manage the forums, especially as they were appointed on the basis that the sysops do nothing to manage them. Your witty edit summaries when editing forum comments are not wanted or appreciated, so please stop that. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 18:04, June 9, 2015 (UTC)
Actually, I think you'll find that I can edit any comments for any or no reason if I feel that they're off-topic and irrelevant to the topic at hand, just like how sysops can delete pages and block users for any or no reason. ,
The community trusted me for this task by promoting me to forum operator. Key word: operator. Not moderator. Learn the difference between the two as you clearly don't know the difference. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 18:34, June 9, 2015 (UTC)
Nope, you are wrong. Wikia Staff makes it clear that sysops can do whatever the hell they want on their communities. The only thing it'll do is annoy the community in question, but other than that, you have the right to simply do what you want. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 19:03, June 9, 2015 (UTC)
Your response clearly shows you've not even tried to understand how Wikia works.
Wikia's opinion means more than yours and they make it very clear sysops are permitted to do whatever they want on their communities. The only thing that matters is what this community does and it's clear to me this community does not care to deal with abusive sysops and Wikia also does not do anything about abusive sysops.
Before trying to suggest that I'm wrong, you should understand Wikia's position as it's more important when you are a part of Wikia's network. --Sajuuk [Mod] talk | contribs | Channel 16:44, June 10, 2015 (UTC)

It takes on a similar appearance to his Sage Mode, albeit without the pigmentation around his eyes. He can take this a step further by donning something similar in appearance to his Tailed Beast Mode cloak through the power of the tailed beasts.))

Hey Snapper2, if possible, is there a grammar guidebook of some sort you've referenced that you can link me to so I can see exactly where you're coming from? You're point about senjuts is a solid one, though if I wanted to delve further, I'd say well there's Sage Mode, Frog Kata, Six Paths Senjutsu, etc....different, unique types of senjutsu and/or variants of it, hence why senjutsu is capitalized. But lately I've come to realize that you could probably do this with a lot of nouns, and it'd probably be stretching it.
