We do hope that you will stay for a long time. Enjoy your stay as we work to become the best Naruto info site out there. BELIEVE IT!
If you're looking for something to do why not look over the Forums or more specifically Narutopedia Collaboration for a list of projects we're working on. And the Community portal has a lot of recent discussions and places to go listed on it.
You could try to use the codes on this page. If it doesn't help, you could ask Kirkburn, who made the page about Activity Feed. Also, please remember to sign your posts. Jacce | Talk 12:41, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
You still has to tell us your source, thus why we prefer manga and anime pics. And don't take pics from Leafninja, they are to small and has bad quality. And no gif images or pics made or colored by fans. Jacce | Talk 21:35, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
Re: User v.s. Administrator
Administrator, also known as Syops or just admins, are users who has been given special privileges. Unlike regular users, admins can:
- Directly remove edits by the latest editor (thus; if someone has made 10 edits, the admin just have to press "Rollback" and the edits are removed. It only works if the edits comes in a line; if User A makes a bad edit, then User B makes a edit, then User A makes a new bad edit, and then someone presses Rollback, only User A's second edit is removed). This privilege is also given to Rollback users; users who revert a lot of vandalism.
- Block users and IP addresses so they can't edit any pages on the wiki.
- Protect pages so they can't be edited. The protection has three stages: at stage one, everyone can edit it. Stage two, known as "autoconfirmed", means that the page can't be edited by anonymous user (IP numbers) and new editors. Stage three, known as "fully locked", means that only admins can edit the page.
- Delete entire pages, articles and images, or bring back deleted versions.
To become an admin (on this wiki), there must be a need for admins (for example; there are so much vandalism that the current admins doesn't have time to take care of it). The user must also have proven that he/she understands the rules of the wiki. Also, there is a good idea to not ask for admin status.
There are also a type of users known as Bureaucrats. They are like admins, but it is they who make other users rollback users or admins or even bureaucrats, thus they are usually the founder of the wiki. On this wiki, we have one bureaucrat, User:Dantman, and three admins beside me: User:TheUltimate3, User:ShounenSuki and User:Snapper2. From time to time, some special admins like User:Charitwo shows up and do some cleaning (they have admin status on every wiki). Jacce | Talk 21:35, January 1, 2010 (UTC)
