Canon and apocryphal
Edit
How do you decide what's canon and what's apocryphal? I mean, the Nadeshiko symbol is canon, because it was shown in the Anime, right? Seelentau 愛議 14:40, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
- Manga = canon, anime = apocryphal. I'm a purist and I only consider Kishimoto-sensei's direct work top be canon. The anime, films, games, and such, I consider apocryphal — not completely canon, but not completely uncanon, either. Anything from outside the official franchise is fanon or theoretical. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 15:55, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
- So, every apocryphal picture was made from something seen in the anime (and such), right? Seelentau 愛議 16:21, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
- Something like that, yes. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 16:31, November 5, 2011 (UTC)
