  3. Spiralling Absorption Sphere (螺旋吸眼, Rasen Kyūgan)
  4. Mini Spiralling Shuriken (ミニ螺旋手裏剣, Mini Rasen Shuriken)

ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 21:21, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

Could you do that for every weeks chapter? Cause there are often things like the Banbutsu Sōzō issue, that are overseen by the translators... anyways, thanks for the confirmation :] Seelentau 愛 21:34, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

about this as well could you translate what Shizune and Sakura's conversation and that bit B says after Naruto uses the Rasen Kyūgan. We (well me) kinda held off on adding exact information until we could verify it with you and the raw since people have been adding Mokuton to Zetsu's infobox and we're not sure if it should be.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 13:30, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

Here you go:
Sakura: "…It became even more similar to Captain Yamato than at the time of the Five Kage Summit!!" (「…五影会談の時よりヤマト隊長に近くなってる!!」)
Shizune: "In other words… This… This is almost identical to the Shodai Hokage's individual make-up!" (「つまり…これ…初代火影の個人配列とほぼ変われなくなってる…やっぱりそうだったんだ!」)
Akimichi: "What are you talking about?! What do those white things have to do with the Shodai Hokage?" (「何の話だ!?この白いのと初代火影が何だって?」)
Sakura: "In short, the white guys are copies of the Shodai-sama! Or rather, judging by the numbers, they are moving clone plants, created by cultivating the Shodai-sama's cells and using plants as a medium! They may be weak, but they use Mokuton!" (「つまりこの白い奴は初代火影様の分身体!というよりこの数からして初代様の細胞を培養し植物を媒体に造られた動くクローン植物って事!うすまって弱いけど木遁を使うし!」)
Akimichi: "Hmmmm… Hn?! …I don't quite understand…!" (「ん〰〰〰〰…ん!?…よく分からん…!」)
Sakura: "Anyhow… Judging from this data, Captain Yamato is also being used as a power-up for these guys!" (「とにかく…このデータから見てヤマト隊長もこいつらのパワーアップに利用されているんだ!」)
Shizune: "Contact headquarters immediately!" (「すぐに本部に連絡するよ!」)
And B says:
"The Mokuton is influenced by Naruto's attack… They're turning back into trees? Just like that time, hm……" (「ナルトの攻撃で木遁が影響を受け…木にもどってるのか?あの時と同じだな……」)

Were all Bijuu captured by Hashirama or only a few? What does the RAW say about this? Should be on page 14 in chapter 414. :] Seelentau 愛 23:39, July 1, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks :) That means, they hadn't all Bijū under control, right? ^_^
Also, on the Tailed Beasts page is said: However, after Hashirama's death, the villages had trouble containing these giant demons themselves and they began to run wild, so the villages instead moved to seal the Tailed Beasts within humans. That means, Hashirama gave them and they were roaming free in the countries? Or what? ô.o Seelentau 愛 15:07, July 3, 2011 (UTC)
Okay. But I was told that you can answer my question here, since you put that sentence in the article. Seelentau 愛 16:52, July 3, 2011 (UTC)

Japanese wikipedia again

I was looking through the Japanese Wikipedia article on Naruto jutsu, and I came across with what appears to be the name for some collaboration techniques for the Magaki Group. The thing is, we never heard the names of many of those techniques in the anime. The fact the description of the techniques match lends a bit of credibility, but there's something that doesn't quite fit. The kanji they have for Mugen Hōyō is completely different, and appears to have no connection with the English sub. I remember we only learned the group's name because it was listed so in a reliable site, either you or Seelentau providing the translation at the time. Any idea if there was a site with those names, or some other reliable source? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:19, July 2, 2011 (UTC)

So, Deva game a time frame for one of those episodes, and the sound for one of the techniques definitely matches. Assuming the other ones will fit as well, the kanji and rōmaji are: 疾風迅雷 (Shippūjinrai), 電光石火 (Denkōsekka), 無炎方陽 (Muenhōyō) (this and the multiple this are the ones I said don't match the ones we have), and 諸行無常 (Shogyōmujō). Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:14, July 2, 2011 (UTC)
Shippūjinrai should be about 15 minutes into episode 145 (it's supposed to be this according to the article), the sound matches, and it's quite fortunate that they kinda show the kanji in their hands, though the angles are kinda odd. Shogyōmujō is in the first couple scenes of episode 151. No kanji there, but the pronunciation is clear too. This one is supposed to be this. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 15:24, July 3, 2011 (UTC)
How accurate would it be to call Shogyō Mujō "Impermanence of Worldly Things"? The literal, literal translation sounds more like a sentence. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:31, July 3, 2011 (UTC)

Red Secret Technique: Machinery Triangles

So its Japanese name for sure hasn't colon?--LeafShinobi (talk) 08:45, July 4, 2011 (UTC)

It's difficult to say. I checked over all the instances of the [colour] Secret Techniques and I can't quite find any consistency:
  • 黒秘技機々一発 (ch.214, p.10)
  • 白秘技・
    十機近松の集 (ch.272, p.11)
  • 赤秘技・
    百機の操演 (ch.272, p.15)
  • 赤秘技
    機々三角 (ch.464, p.13)
  • 黒秘技
    山椒魚 (ch.518, p.8)
  • 黒秘技——
    機々三発 (ch.518, pp.14–15)
Judging by Kishimoto-sensei's naming style, I think it will be the style with the ・ that will end up being the correct one. This is also the style used in the last databook. I would suggest changing all the names to this style — for the sake of consistency — and leave a note in the trivia explaining the situation for those techniques that haven't been given the ・. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 11:34, July 4, 2011 (UTC)
But Black Secret Technique Machine One Shot was written as 黒秘技機々一発 also in databook, am I right? Are you going to move it as well?--LeafShinobi (talk) 16:47, July 4, 2011 (UTC)
I'm still thinking about what I would consider the best solution. Perhaps it's better to just stick to how they were officially named, after all. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 23:43, July 4, 2011 (UTC)

This is what I did:

I combined the Kanji for Nine Tails, with the Katakana for Chakra and another Katakana for mode, thus making Nine Tails Chakra Mode.

  • 九尾
  • チャクラ
  • モード

He also calls it [{translation|Tailed Beast Chakra Mode|尾獣チャクラモード|Bijū Chakura Mōdo}} around the time of the Bijūdama training. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 01:06, July 5, 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 546 Stuff

As the raw isn't out yet, none of this is confirmed. All of it is taken from the spoilers, so it might change as soon as I get my hands on a raw.

  • The title is Confrontation of the Old and New Kage!! (新旧影対決!!, Shinkyūkage Taiketsu!!)
  • Toroi (トロイ). This name means 'slow', both of body and of mind.
  • Magnet Release (磁遁, Jiton) and magnetism (磁力, jiryoku).
  • Gold dust (砂金, sakin). This word literally means 'sand gold', similar to how iron sand (砂鉄, satetsu) literally means 'sand iron'. The raw makes no mention of the Fourth Kazekage's gold dust ability being Jiton, by the way.
  • Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique (塵遁・原界剥離の術, Jinton: Genkai Hakuri no Jutsu).

ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 16:25, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

Just a side note, is it ok to be listing Sandaime Kazekage as a Jiton user? I know Chiyo said it was his alone and all...--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 16:38, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

I'd list him, but I would note the fact it hasn't been confirmed yet. Also, as I said above, the Fourth Kazekage's technique hasn't been confirmed as Jiton. It also wouldn't be likely for him to be a Jiton user, as gold isn't actually magnetic. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 16:43, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
I was wondering about the non-magnetic properties of gold and all, I'll remove it. Thanks.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 16:54, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
I thought it could magnetize objects or metal.Umishiru (talk) 17:04, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
It's kind of hard to explain plainly but lets say that magnetism is like the Deva Path using Banshō Ten'in, gold uses Shinra Tensei hence it doesn't really get magnetised or attracted to magnets. I hope that helped :s--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 17:10, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

NOTE: Shounen, given the trouble this'll cause regarding edits in the foreseeable future until we get a raw, I've opted to re-add the info about the magnetism, given the english translations and all. I think it'll be easier to remove if it turns out not to be true more than anything else.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 17:55, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

Good idea, but it might be smart to add the uncertainty about it. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 18:07, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

How can "砂金" literally meaning "sand dust" if "金" is kanji for "gold" (or "metal")? Anyway should we list Magnetism Release not only as akekkei genkai and also as a chakra nature in Third and Fourth's infoboxes and on thei techniques' pages?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:45, July 6, 2011 (UTC)

>< Typo… —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 20:15, July 6, 2011 (UTC)
Alright, I've gotten my hands on a raw, which means everything is now confirmed ^^ The Fourth Kazekage does indeed use Jiton, by the way. At least according to the Third Raikage. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 09:21, July 9, 2011 (UTC)
The literal translation for "Jiton" is "Magnet" release as well?--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 12:13, July 9, 2011 (UTC)
I would like to take a look at that as well. From the kanji used, it seems that the nature can also be called "magnetic force/power". Not really sure about the difference, but if the more correct term would be Magnet Release, then a few things need to be edited and moved. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:42, July 12, 2011 (UTC)
磁 refers to the general concept of magnetism and can therefore be translated as both 'magnet' and 'magnetism'. 磁力 refers specifically to the force that draws objects towards a magnet, which can be said as both 'magnetic force' and 'magnetism'. Personally, to avoid getting way to technical, I'd suggest translating 磁力 as 'magnetism' and 磁遁 as 'Magnet Release'. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 11:15, July 13, 2011 (UTC)

Game names translation

Blood Prison info?

Anything we don't know in this? Looks like it was a promo in the page before chapter 546. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 03:40, July 10, 2011 (UTC)

Old info is everything we already have in articles related to that movie. We already have an article on Mui, and from what I remember on the film's site, there are two other movie characters who were named: a prisoner, and someone who looks like a guard. Not sure if we already have an article on the location itself. We also have an article on the technique, though it's currently marked as unnamed. Would you say Imprisonment Technique is the type of technique, much like Reincarnation Ninjutsu and Chakra Absorption Technique are, and that Heavenly Prison is the technique's actual name? Read strings

I'm interested in read strings in this manga. I also think may manga fans are. For example I read about young boy and man and how boy trow rock on girl and latter he marries that girl who has scar on her eye brown because of the rock. So I am interested what's your oppinion because kishi always makes Naruto for some reasons get in way with Hinata even if he makes in part two sakura and naruto spending much time together, I cant read trow his game. As if he is trying to tell us that Hinat and Naruto are suitable one for another but he is trying to decive us by making sakura and naruto being together. As if that stupid rule of tsunder girl being girlfriend of main caracter isn't wrong interpreted. For as I know sasuke is also main caracter not no 1 but no 2 and there is no rule saying that main caracter who ends up with tsunder has to be titular caracter. Also killing two couples for sake of one that is really stupid is really stupid. YamatoTakeru (talk) 22:34, July 11, 2011 (UTC)

In Tangorin, the first one was Chinese white olive. In the same site, the second one is olive, but has a note. "Used as an incorrect translation". It has nothing to do with Naruto. Dekoshu talk contrib 19:16, July 13, 2011 (UTC)

I was waiting for you the whole time, and decided to undo my message to you, after you were busy with something else. Dekoshu talk contrib 20:58, July 13, 2011 (UTC)

I expect nothing from you. But thank you for your help, ShouenSuki. Does that mean they're different but both translated correctly? Like the actual Japanese name for Olive is オリーブ, but sometimes 橄欖 can also be used? Since they fixed this, that means the kanji that is also used in Chinese can mean the same with Japanese, right? Dekoshu talk contrib 22:35, July 13, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, I really got it now. So in Japanese only, Kanran would refer only to the Chinese white olive, while in Chinese, it does translate to olive. Thanks. Dekoshu talk contrib 22:47, July 13, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks a lot, though. Dekoshu talk contrib 23:10, July 13, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, then. Then Olive is translated with Katakana instead of kanji which particularly refers to the Chinese white olive, then. I won't repeat it. Thanks. Dekoshu talk contrib 23:13, July 13, 2011 (UTC)

I don't feel like explaining it. Dekoshu talk contrib 17:51, July 14, 2011 (UTC)

Gold trade

You rather don't have RAW for the last chapter, have you? When you have it, could you tell me if Suna council tals about trading 'gold' or 'gold dust'? Anyway, when Kazekage told Yashamaru to test Gaara, did he told about evacuating citizens?--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:23, July 13, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks. Anyway, do you know what A means telling about Minato putting out Kumo's mission to retrieve Nine-Tails (ch. 542, p. 13)?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:04, July 14, 2011 (UTC)
Was Kushina already jinchūriki there?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:12, July 14, 2011 (UTC)

Aother question. Do you think that Suna Council member who told about gold dust trading and developing new techniques can be Jōseki?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:21, July 14, 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 547 Stuff

Nothing much this week, except:

  • The title: Things that Have Value (価値あるもの, Kachi Aru Mono)

Gaara's sand

I have recently suggested making a tool article the sand Gaara keeps with him at all times, to make it consistent with similar articles such as Iron Sand and Gold Dust. Seelentau has already given me the term Deidara used to describe this special sand. This is the only instance I can remember when Gaara's sand was specifically called something other than sand. Are there any others? Also, just to confirm, would the term Seelentau found be translated as "Specially-made Sand" or something like that? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 14:49, July 15, 2011 (UTC)

You said that Kankurō used sand as well. When did he do that? The only sand-related thing I remember Kankurō doing is following Deidara and Sasori through bits of Gaara sand armour. Any other instances of other characters using sand? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:40, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

I asked you once did Naruto in manga also calls Shizune "nee-chan". Did he ever talked with her besides of Search for Tsunade Arc?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:30, July 15, 2011 (UTC)

Is then any possibility that he called her like that during this arc?--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:22, July 16, 2011 (UTC)
Did he call her by name ch. 162 pages 10-11?--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:05, July 26, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks.--LeafShinobi (talk) 15:09, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

I already wrote this in the discussion page, but since i read that you're the wiki's resident translator, i was hoping that you could fill me in on two questions: first, what was the title Madara refered Sasuke during his talk with Naruto, Kakashi and Yamato? Was it an avatar of vengeance or just as an avenger. Second is it worth putting as a title in Sasuke's infobox, like the way Naruto is reffered as the Saviour. Thank you in advance. Darksusanoo (talk) 06:39, July 16, 2011 (UTC)

It was in chapter 462, page 9. Darksusanoo (talk) 16:31, July 16, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the clear up...i was thinking he refered to his as an avatar of vengeance...but if it's like that you're right...thanks for the translation. Darksusanoo (talk) 16:43, July 16, 2011 (UTC)

Karura's death

Could you translate what exactly Gaara said in ch. 97, p. 10 about his mother?--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:25, July 16, 2011 (UTC)

But do you think that means "a human sacrifice was needed" to seal Shukaku (from Gaara's article)?--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:59, July 17, 2011 (UTC)

Could you translate the Jutsu page for Summoning: Toad Mouth Bind? I want to know what the original says, because in the German version it is stated that Gamabunta's oesophagus is summoned. It's on page 210 in the Tō no Sho. Seelentau 愛 18:55, July 16, 2011 (UTC)

Also, please translate the Kibaku Nendo page in the Sha no Sho, cause in the German version it states that the clay is exploding clay, even before it is fused with his Chakra... Seelentau 愛 21:35, July 21, 2011 (UTC)
Oh, okay :D I have to thank you, again :) btw, a more random question: Do you have some dates that aren't well known in the Naruto fanbase? I mean, dates that are only mentioned in some special books or interviews or so? Seelentau 愛 22:42, July 21, 2011 (UTC)
Also, do you think that the Kaeru Kaeru technique uses Inton? The German Sha no Sho say, that it uses the imagination of the user. And Inton IS usage of imagintion. Seelentau 愛 14:23, July 24, 2011 (UTC)
Ah, another question, about the normal Yōton: Did anyone ever said that 熔遁 and 溶遁 describe the same thing? I mean, who said it isn't like the two Jinton? Seelentau 愛 14:54, July 24, 2011 (UTC)

Weird Mask Blast Flames

It's a video game technique, used by Kakuzu in the Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 game. I found an image of it with the Japanese name, but it's very hard to make out the name. Of the five characters in its name, I managed to get four of them getting "Mask * Blaze" (仮面ノ*炎, Kamen no *en). I tried editing the image in various ways manipulating sharpness, but I lose detail on the kanji when I zoom it or make it too much sharp. Could you try seeing what the kanji might be? I could almost get what the hiragana were for the fourth kanji, it kinda looks like は or ほ, but because of the image quality, I can't see it has dakuten or handakuten. New Page

I am about to create a new page that features the barrier technique that Nagato used to protect Konan and Yahiko from an explosion near the end of Shippuden episode #172 and I just wanted to ask you a few questions:

1. Is this technique actualy Shinra Tensei?

2. Would "Rinnegan Kekkai no Jutsu" be an appropriate translation for "Rinnegan Barrier Technique"?

3. Would this be the appropriate kanji: 輪廻眼結界の術?

4. Did it appear in the manga and if so, what chapter?

Please answer these or at least redirect them to someone who will. Thank you. Dueler65 (talk) 10:51, July 17, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, it was Shinra Tensei. I thought that Nagato could only use Shinra Tensei through Tendō but then I saw him do it there. Thanks for answering all my questions by the way.

In its entry in databook it is about deer we can see alongside Shikamaru when he met with Sakura and Sai and not about one of these which were seen when Shikamaru was "burying" Hidan?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:06, July 17, 2011 (UTC)

Hey, Suki-senpai, sorry for bothering you, but I was wondering if you'll be able to translate this for me. The kanji should be big enough for you to translate them, and if not, I think I can get a bigger one. And... Well, I also wanted to ask you to translate two other doujinshis and a few pages from a previous doujinshi that I found out had more pages. I know you're busy, so when you're free, let me know. For now, can you pretty please translate the one I gave you? Message me back when you're free--NinjaSheik 19:27, July 17, 2011 (UTC)

Wow! That was fast, and you know about the website! Thanks a lot, Suki-senpai! You're such a great translator and friend!

Okay, the two other ones are this and this. Pixiv is a site I don't usually go to since it's hard to search around it because everything is in Japanese. I found a long time ago and when I sister found it, I started searching there again. I found one of the doujinshi you already translated for me had more pages. It's this one. Since you already translated the pages I gave you, can you translate the other one that I missed? It's pages 2, 3, 10, and 12.

You don't have to rush, I know it must be kinda hard translating Japanese and stuff, and you're busy with official stuff for the Narutopedia. I'm not in a rush, so take your time and thanks again!--NinjaSheik 19:06, July 18, 2011 (UTC)

Hiya, Suki-senpai! Just checking in! I hope you're almost done translating the doujinshis soon! The two other doujinshi might take you a while, but I wanted to see if you finished translating the doujinshi with the pages I missed, since it was only four and din't have a lot of kanji on it.--NinjaSheik 18:07, August 9, 2011 (UTC)

Yay~!! Thank you, Suki-senpai! And just in time before school starts! And sorry for the, um, edit argument yesterday! Got carried away. Hehehe... ^__^'

Anyway, thank you very much! :)--NinjaSheik 16:28, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Sasuke's Affinity

I know this was probably solved way earlier, but I would like some clarification. It has been mentioned that most Uchiha members have the Fire affinity, but was Sasuke outright mentioned to have the Lightning affinity? Is that what Kakshi meant when he said Sasuke is the same "type" as him? Many are assuming an advanced nature should mean one has an affinity to the component natures, but this could either prove it right or wrong. Thanks! --GoDai (talk) 05:29, July 18, 2011 (UTC)

Hm so for now do we have no idea about what Kakashi meant when said something about Sasuke's "type"? Anything else that hints at his affinity and/or ability to learn new natures? --GoDai (talk) 19:46, July 18, 2011 (UTC)

Asuma's affinity

Was it said that wind is his affinity, or simply chakra nature??--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:37, July 19, 2011 (UTC)

Try chapter 317. Jacce | Talk | Contributions 15:25, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

I don't think they uses "affinity". I checked chapter 315 to 323, and didn't see it. Jacce | Talk | Contributions 16:11, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

Mizukage about Yin Release

Does he mean "I use Yin Release, basically genjutsu", or does he mean "I use Yin Release and genjutsu"? Here's a raw from the page if you don't have one already (though not the best quality). Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 19:22, July 20, 2011 (UTC)

Deva Path, Shinra Tensei, and Banshō Ten'in

What was the exact term used to refer to the Deva Path's attraction and repulsion abilities? I remember before, we often used the term "gravity," which I couldn't exactly find in the raws and it didn't make a lot of sense for the repulsion part. I can see how it would work for Chibaku Tensei though. Could you provide me with a summary of how his abilities are referred to as in Japanese? Also, would "Heaven Release (天遁; Tenton)" be a plausible theory, with the Tendō's ability being manipulating "heavenly forces"? --GoDai (talk) 21:15, July 21, 2011 (UTC)

Oh excellent, that's better than I had hoped for. I was thinking maybe the Deva Path ability of the Rinnegan could be an advanced Nature Transformation (similar to Blaze Release), and due to the revelations of explosive and magnetic chakra being Explosion and Magnetism Releases respectively, this makes it more possible. "Heaven" was one of my first ideas I had for Wind+Lightning, and now that I've linked it to the Deva Path, it seems to make even more sense, related to the pushing and pulling effects seen in Wind, and Lightning could be related to charges, as well as Lightning being intended to replace the heavenly element, Void 空, in the original Godai. Thanks! --GoDai (talk) 01:58, July 22, 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 548 Stuff

  • Title: Naruto vs. Itachi!! (ナルトVSイタチ!!, Naruto Bāsasu Itachi!!).
  • Karura's name is still written as 加瑠羅.
  • Yashamaru is definitely said to be a member of the Suna ANBU and the Fourth Kazekage's right-hand man.
  • I haven't a clue what the Second Mizukage is doing to the seal fuda, but the sound effect — ジワ (jiwa) — indicates some form of liquid being involved: it usually indicates tears welling up.
  • My translation of the Second Mizukage's comment about his using Inton doesn't change: "I'm a Yin Release… in other words, a genjutsu user!" (「オレは陰遁…つまり幻術使いだ!」, "Ore wa Inton… tsumari genjutsu tsukai da!").
    • His summon is a giant clam (, ōhamaguri). Although simply called 'giant clam', the kanji is actually the name for a mythical giant clam and ususally pronounced as 'shin' in Japanese ('shèn' or 'chèn' in Chinese). This shin is actually a kind of aquatic, shape-shifting dragon in the form a giant clam. It is said to be able to cause mirages and Fata Morganas. In fact, its name has become almost synonymous with 'mirage': in Japanese, the word for 'mirage' is 蜃気楼 (shinkirō, Literally meaning: shin breath tower).
  • My translation for what the Third Raikage says about attacking Doton users also remains the same: "I'm a Raiton user! I'll be attacking the Doton users in the front row like no tomorrow!!" (「ワシは雷遁を使う!土遁の忍を前列に置きワシの攻めたてろ!!」, Washi wa Raiton o tsukau! Doton no shinobi o zenretsu ni oki washi no semetatero!!).
  • Rock Clone Technique (岩分身の術, Iwa Bunshin no Jutsu).

About the upcoming film:

  • Mui's technique is called Heavenly Prison (天牢, Tenrō) and it is an Imprisonment Technique (禁錮術, Kinkojutsu).
  • Mui (無為) is still the master (, aruji) of the Demon Lamp Castle (鬼灯城, 鬼燈城, Hōzuki-jō). The name of the castle is written in two different ways.
  • The boy with the white hair and the bandanna is called Ryūsetsu (竜舌), which literally means 'dragon's tongue'. Although I can only read 'Ryūsetsu', I think it should be 'Ryūzetsu', though, as that would be the proper pronunciation of 舌.
    • He apparently became a prisoner to kill 'a certain man', even if he had to risk his life to do so. He's described as a "mysterious shinobi, burning with revenge."
  • There's going to be a special feature called: A Chūnin Exam of Flames! Naruto vs. Konohamaru!! (炎の中忍試験!ナルトVS木ノ葉丸!!, Honō no Chūnin Shiken! Naruto Bāsasu Konohamaru!!)

Death and Life

Did you made an image of hypothetical Life Release and Death Release? VolteMetalic (talk) 18:38, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

Ahh, but I thought you did... hmm, nevermind that than.VolteMetalic (talk) 22:14, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

If it wont bother you, you can :) VolteMetalic (talk) 22:53, July 23, 2011 (UTC)

And, when you can, you should also make a one for Forge Release. With this kanji 築, and color... probably grey with yellow/orange center. Probably a sort of combination of Earth and Yang. Not that you must use, it is for my own use. Or if you know a better translation for "forge", meaning the crafting of the weapons and tools.VolteMetalic (talk) 11:55, July 24, 2011 (UTC)

And what is... pronunciation of 鍛 ? And what would be the final Japanese name of the Forge Release than? Because apparently word "forge" is not easy word in Japan :D

Ah, yes. All three are kekkei genkai. You can use Death and Life as you want, for example to fill the kekkei tota box on your page. Forge is kekkei genkai for sure.VolteMetalic (talk) 13:31, July 25, 2011 (UTC)

Yes, I noticed the difference between kekkei genkai and kekket tota. For Life release, just durious, why you choose red and green? I dont say its bad or not, I am just curious :) And the Forge looks good :) So Tanren and Tanton. Okay, its actually 4th version,a nd with your great help, final :D The woman who is actually behind the Forge Release, will be happy, especially when you made the icon for it :D Thank you a lot :) And can I ask you for yet another icon, for a clan? VolteMetalic (talk) 19:37, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

I see, that makes sense.

You will have it pretty easier :) I already drew the concept. Here it is (dont mind the character's bad appearance, especially the head, I am not a good artist :D), the circle above the helmet is the symbol of the clan. Just like this. The colors, these two "faces" are based on two characters from Star Wars Clone Wars TV cartoon, Daughter and Son. For the backstory of the clan, the symbol comes from the first childs of the clan, who were a twins. The woman became kind and protective, but her brother wanted to rule them with power, and instead searched for ways how to increase his power, eventually signing with Shinigami to be his servant (dont mind that Shinigami, as Death Spirit, isnt evil or good). His sister, knowing this and what was about to come, started training best she could. One day they meet and fight for few days, until brother is defeated. When she holds him in her arms, he asks her for forgiveness, and she forgives her, and when he dies she makes him a shrine. When she gets old, she asks her children and people to build another shrine for her next to her brother's so they can rest in peace together. So the clan than took as its symbol the depiction of these two, the strongest members of the clan in the history.

Enough for backstory, it probably bores you :D So for the colors, the left half (sister) would be light green to light yellow, with brighter light green on her hair (above and beside eyes), the mouth... maybe also green, or pink. And eyes... yellow or green, maybe jade, or blue. For right half (brother), ti would be light grey, the eyes would be bright red with blood red on the painting above the eyes and the teeth would be little yellow than white, just a little. I am not totally sure about the colors yet. The circle around the faces and line crossing them is white. VolteMetalic (talk) 20:40, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

Is it a good description? The icon would be just black and white, I would paint it than by myself.VolteMetalic (talk) 07:15, August 1, 2011 (UTC)

Thank you :) Can it be resized to 150 × 150, and with little thicker lines? For the colors... the left side. The background (skin of the face) should be some sort of light green... tea green (#D0F0C0) or celadon (#ACE1AF). The hair and eyes should be more contrast green... something between forest green (#228B22) and emerald (#50C878)... no, just emerald. And the lips/mouth should be some sort of pink. The right side, the background/skin should be some sort of light grey, close to white. The eyes and lines above them should be of blood red, like darker red. And the teeth should be very dark grey, close to black, or unhealthy yellow. The color of teeth are really hard to decide on... forget the dark grey, unhealthy yellow (yellow, with little green and brown, simply to look like the person dont brushes them). VolteMetalic (talk) 18:44, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

I was wondering, how to make "another user page" like you have a page with your images, and still it is your user page. How to do this? VolteMetalic (talk) 10:25, August 7, 2011 (UTC)

I was taking a look at video game techniques names, and LeafShinobi brought to my attention the kanji used in the term "dōjutsu", which isn't the same as the one used in Sharingan, Byakugan and Rinnegan. Doesn't that kanji specifically refer to the pupil instead of the entire organ? If so, wouldn't it be more accurate to translate it as "pupil technique"? Naruto's first epithet... can you help me?

Hi, there. Sorry to bother you, but can I ask you a favor? I think we should add Naruto's epithet, "Konoha's Number One Most Unpredictable Knucklehead Ninja" to his list of alias. So far, Omnibender and NinjaSheik aproved that idea. The thing is... I only know the english version of this, I don't know how to write it in Japanese. The only sources I could find so far were episode 13 and 14 from the anime, Part 1 (chapters 23 to 26 of the manga).

Confining the Jinchūriki Arc

I don't know if you're the one to talk to about these so if you're not could you please pass this on to whomever is and if you are, could you please fix them:

  • On the Confining the Jinchūriki Arc talk page, it has a link to an archive but the link doesn't work. I'd fix it myself but I don't know what the archive is actually called so could you please fix it.
  • On the actual Confining the Jinchūriki Arc page, it says that the arc ends on Chapter 514 but the last event it mentions as happening in the CTJ Arc happens in Chapter 516. I was about to change it to ending in Chapter 514 but had a hidden message type thing telling me not to. Any ideas why there would be a misunderstanding about this?

Also Kishi said he watch movies, teak references from Japanese history and watch theater, so he didn't figured out everything alone he just colect data and puzzles it from information he gets from watch and read material. Also I think he lies (if) he said(ever) that he doesn't read because there is a lot of phylosophy. If he has to make 17 to 20 pages manga wit 4 to 6 pictures in every page than he draws 68 to 120 pictures max, not including pges with only one picture, so he has to divide his time, Wednesday when manga comes out or day before when its published he colect data fits in story, than 7 days each day 3 to 4 pages...He make time to time breaks so he could make the story and than folowss it...So bye... YamatoTakeru (talk) 15:24, July 31, 2011 (UTC)

In japanese mythology and history they charish the nature. The same is with kishi. He likes nature symbols in names and so. So a cloud ninja represente a cloud. A Hinata represente Sunny area. So when cloud blocks the Sun there is no Sunny area, so that is it. Everything else I wrote is just Kishi strategy how he do it...Bye...

Here is one very stupid anegcdote abouth Hedad cloud ninja whom I hate. The word in Englis sinsiter has origin in latin from word sinister wich means left diferent from word dexter wich means rihght on latin. The sinister means evil because acient latins tought left handed people are bad (at least I think). So when he abducted Hinata he was holding her with his right hand. When in anime Hiashi atacked Head cloud ninja, Head cloud ninja was sinister, because he used his left hand to defend himself, and failed due to Hiashi's speed...So bye... Ok it was a joke but one thing interest me. Why is Head cloud ninja right eye covered. I mena why not left. Kakashi's left eye is covered with diference, he wears his headband normaly and just drop little of head band clothe on his left eye. With gashira is different he is waering all his head band over his right eye, with rope on his left side making head band probably not to fall. When I alalized him it is injteresting how metal on his hadband who is covering his right eye is making him look interesting, like insted of eye he is havig something shiny, but when you flip image for 180 deegrece you will see in his face when he is first shown something sinister. When I can't read what people face says from first look i rotate it and I see try it, because I don't know is it just me or everybody(picture that we se is rotated but it doesn't have imporatce here) Maybe kishi wanted to make story goes the man without an eye trying to kidnap girl with doijutso, or kunogakure had killed some Hyuga in battle and had an eye and just needed living huyga so they can study how to use it. There is some hidden conctino beatween his eye, maybe he has sharingan, and maybe Hiashi sama killde him quickly because he was powerful 8he used bykugan and saw it, don't underestimate anime, they probally ask Kishi first), and maybe he was just long rage fighter. Who knows 90% he is using raiton, 30% he is using some cloud jutsu, and there is posibillyty he uses some jutsu for making people sleep, because Hinata wasn't that kind asleep so he could take her so easy... So I'm wise with table pool (biliar) because I hold stick for pool in left hand when I'm shooting the balls...Have you ever played table pool? The greatest genious in my country was expert in table pool, it's geometry. Practically if he was a ninja he would be good of lightning because he was able to hold lightning in his hands. Some people at my home brag about he is so important, because computers, mobile etc electrical stuff couldn't work without his inventions... What do you think about Calusari?

Orochimaru's epithet

Uhm so I was perusing the Sannin article and noticed that Orochimaru was called the White Snake but it wasn't in his infobox. I'm not entirely sure if he was ever called such. Anyways, if you know of where it was said and could produce some kanji and rōmaji that'd be awesome. I'll continue looking for it as well.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 03:10, July 28, 2011 (UTC)

Yeah I realised that there's been reference to white snakes and him but he's never been called such. Thanks much but I won't be using it since there's no validity to it.^^--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 15:25, July 28, 2011 (UTC)

Aburame enquiry

I was wondering, it's stated that Shino has an odd way of speaking asking questions and then answering them and such and I remember reading somewhere that the Aburame are constantly having conversations with their bugs and such. What I want to ask is whether or not Shibi, Torune and Muta speak in a curious manner as well O.o?--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 00:31, July 29, 2011 (UTC)

Oh, well thanks for clearing that up I'll edit his article to include the information you just gave me. But for reference could you translate a part of his conversation with that example in it. Itachi's last words

I know that this is an old question and that the translation of this line is also present in the page of Itachi [(Last words to Sasuke) "Forgive me Sasuke… …It ends with this." (「許せサスケ……これで最後だ」, "Yuruse Sasuke… …Kore de saigo da.")] but someone recently has said that "saigo 最後" merely means "final" and so the translation to "This is it" is more accurate. Can you confirm it? Thanks for your attention ;)--JK88 (talk) 18:37, July 31, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the answer :)--JK88 (talk) 08:16, August 1, 2011 (UTC)

Amaterasu Shield possible name

In chapter 463, page 15, bottom right panel, Karin describes Amaterasu Shield as "Black Flames Shield"/"Shield of Black Flames" (黒炎の盾, Kokuen no Tate). Is it a viable name for the technique? Or is it more like a description, similar to how we have kanji and rōmaji for Black Lightning, despite considering it unnamed? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:01, July 31, 2011 (UTC)

But should it be marked as unnamed? The print kanji for black lightning were there, and we still mark it as unnamed. And what would be the most appropriate translation? "Black Flames Shield" or "Shield of Black Flames"? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:16, July 31, 2011 (UTC)

Can you confirm the gender of this character from any of the info you have, the name perhaps? I know you used a male pronoun to refer to the character prior to this but I just want to make sure, especially since I'm not sure after seeing some of the trailers.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 00:16, August 2, 2011 (UTC)

Fire Lightning and Water

So, one of the things I managed to connect with these three is a holy quality, which is seem in many religions. GoDai suggested me to use the holiness of it in a way of purification or cleansing as a proxy for the holiness. I have a very loose idea on what this combination would do, which is kinda separating stuff, or removing things from something else. I found several words for it, it seems they're used for different kinds of purification, in different contexts:

  • 斎戒 (Saikai)
  • 精製 (Seisei)
  • 浄化 (Jōka)
  • 純化 (Junka)

Are any of them appropriate for this idea, are there other words which might better fit it? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 13:58, August 2, 2011 (UTC)

Any chance there's a word which has both 浄 and 純 in it, either 浄純 or 純浄, similar to the word you gave me for Soul Release, 魂魄 (Konpaku)?

Land of Keys Icon

Would you mind making an icon for the Land of Keys? Y'know, like those ones for the other minor countries with silver backgrounds and their kanji. Dueler65 (talk) 14:07, August 2, 2011 (UTC)

Well, it's an anime only country that is mentioned in loads of pages on thw iki that is said to house the Jōmae Village. If it wasn't actually mentioned then we should be deleting it from the wiki

P.S. Your page has something with it (I think, it's either your page or my computer). Instead of loading the white background for the main section of the page like most pages it doesn't and just has a load of Leaf Village symbols. Dueler65 (talk) 22:25, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 550 Stuff

  • Titel: 'Kotoamatsukami' (別天神, Kotoamatsukami)
  • Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan's strongest genjutsu: Kotoamatsukami (別天神, Kotoamatsukami)

Both could possibly also be 'Kotoamatsugami', but the text is too low-res for me to make it out clearly. Now for a little mythology lesson:

The Kotoamatsukami (別天津神, Literally meaning: Distinguished Heavenly Gods) is a group of five gods that appeared at the beginning of the universe. When the Heavens and Earth were created, three of these gods came down from the Takamagahara (高天原, Literally meaning: High Heavenly Plains) as so-called 'single gods' (独神, hitorigami): gods that did not appear as a husband-wife duo. These three gods are called the 'Three Gods of Creation' (造化の三神, Zōka no Sanshin) and where:

  1. Ame-no-Minakanushi-no-Kami (天之御中主神), the supreme god.
  2. Takamimusuhi-no-Kami (高御産巣日神), the god of conquest and rule.
  3. Kamimusuhi-no-Kami (神産巣日神), the god of birth.

After them, when the land was formed and sea was rising to the surface, two more gods appeared:

  1. Umashiashikabihikoji-no-Kami (宇摩志阿斯訶備比古遅神)
  2. Ame-no-Tokotachi-no-Kami (天之常立神)

These five gods have a special place among the Heavenly Gods (天津神, Amatsukami), hence their name: Distinguished Heavenly Gods (別天津神, Kotoamatsukami). After them came the 'Seven Generations of the Age of Gods' (神世七代, Kamiyo Nanayo), the last of which were Izanagi and Izanami, who were responsible for creating the Japanese archipelago.

And now you know. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 11:30, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

Could you move Koto Amatsukami to the proper name please.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 14:07, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

I had already uploaded it when you posted this message ^^ —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 15:22, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for your work :) But how would you translate 別天神? I couldn't find anything proper for 別, my dictionary doesn't even write it as koto, but as betsu or kawa. Seelentau 愛 15:37, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
I would translate it as I did above, as 'Distinguished Heavenly Gods'. 別 means 'distinction', 'difference' and is there to make a distinction between the first five heavenly gods and the later heavenly gods. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 16:11, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
Doesn't it make any difference that the 津 is missing? Seelentau 愛 17:09, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
It doesn't, actually. 津 is only there to convey the 'tsu', which is an ancient way of writing the possessive (nowadays written with の). Kishimoto-sensei simply decided to leave it out, as that is also what usually happens to the possessive の: Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi is generally written as 草薙剣. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 17:20, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
Okay. But why are you writing 之 and not の? And why are you using - now? Seelentau 愛 17:36, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
I used the hyphens in Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi because that is how names from Japanese mythology are traditionally written. Also, where am I using 之? —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 17:42, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
You used it in the Kami names. But I think that's another traditional thing, huh?^^ Seelentau 愛 19:30, August 3, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, that's just the traditional way of writing those names. These names were written down centuries before hiragana and katakana were first thought out, after all. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:33, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

Can you clarify what Itachi said about the genjutsu? In the scanlation I read (Mangastream's), Itachi mentions that he couldn't use the genjutsu because it would take a decade to reuse. And then he mentions something about Hashirama's chakra. I ask because Danzō made it seem that he could use the genjutsu much more often, being able to use it shortly after the summit, despite not wanting to use the eye. Was he able to do that because he had Hashirama's cells then? And considering this is supposed to be a Mangekyō dōjutsu, would that mean that Danzō was a Mangekyō user as well, or that some Mangekyō techniques, once awakened, can be used without actually activating the Mangekyō (like we saw Madara controlling the fox with a regular Sharingan, despite it being said it's a Mangekyō ability)? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:08, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

Itachi says:
"It's not that I didn't use it… It's because I couldn't use it… At that time, that is. It takes ten-odd years before Shisui's Mangekyō can be used again. Unless you have Senju Hashirama's chakra or something…" (「しなかったんじゃない…できなかったからだ…当時はな。シスイの万華鏡は再発動まで十数年かかる。千手柱間のチャクラでもないかぎりな……」, "Shinakattan janai… Dekinakatta kara da… Tōji wa na. Shisui no Mangekyō wa saihatsudō made jūsūnen kakaru. Senju Hashirama no chakura demonai kagiri na……")
It seems Hashirama's chakra does, in fact, speed up the recuperation period of the Kotoamatsukami. That's probably what was going on with Danzō. I also think he had access to Shisui's Mangekyō Sharingan. I don't think that there are any Mangekyō Sharingan that can be use without the Mangekyō Sharingan activated. Madara seems to have an innate ability to control the Kyūbi, even without the Mangekyō. Hence why Danzō listed him among the people capable of perfectly controlling bijū. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 23:17, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

Since you probably got your hands on the raw by now, could you pls check what is said about Shisui's Genjutsu being the strongest or the strongest of his MS? It's on page 9 and 10 :) Seelentau 愛 12:57, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

This is the translation of that conversation:
  • Itachi: "I implanted something into that crow's left eye…" (「そのカラスの左眼に仕込んでおいたのだ…」, "Sono karasu no hidarime ni shikonde oita no da…")
  • Kabuto: "It's that guy's eye…! There's only one genjutsu that could do something like this" (「奴の眼だ…!こ…こんな事ができる幻術は一つしかない」, "Yatsu no me da…! Ko… konna koto ga dekiru genjutsu wa hitotsu shika nai")
  • Itachi: "'Kotoamatsukami', the strongest genjutsu of Shisui Uchiha's Mangekyō Sharingan! This genjutsu turned me back to how I used to be. It seems the Mangekyō already wore out, though…"
  • B: "The Uchiha's strongest genjutsu user… Shisui of the Body Flicker?" (「うちは最強の幻術使い…瞬身のシスイか?」, "Uchiha saikyō no genjutsutsukai… Shunshin no Shisui ka?")
  • Itachi: "Shisui's eye power produced the strongest genjutsu, capable of putting a target under a genjutsu and manipulating them without them being aware of it" (「シスイの瞳力は対象者が幻術にかけられたと自覚する事なく操る事ができる最強幻術を生む」, "Shisui no dōryoku wa taishōsha ga genjutsu ni kakerareta to jikakusuru koto naku ayatsuru koto ga dekiru saikyō genjutsu o umu")
I would like to point out that the Japanese 'strongest' (最強, saikyō) isn't really as absolute as the English equivalent. Tsukuyomi, Izanagi, and Kotoamatsukami can all three be called the 最強 without contradiction. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 23:52, August 6, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, that settles it, I think. But another quick question: I learned that the か at the end of a question replaces the question mark. So, why do they still write a qm after the か? Seelentau 愛 00:15, August 7, 2011 (UTC)
I'd guess it's for emphasis or something like that. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 21:38, August 7, 2011 (UTC)

Different stuff

  1. What did Itachi say about Madara, the (E)MS and stuff? I mean, he said something about a new technique, right? But your article lacks that info... so, is there something unclear or so? Could you maybe translate Itachi's words to Sasuke about Madara, the (E)MS etc.? Thanky in advance :)
  2. Also, I found something interesting: The Sha no Sho say that Karin's village was destroyed. We all know she lived in Kusagakure. So, I think it was Kusagakure who was destroyed in the time after the Chūnin exams and prior to Shippūden. Afterwards, she was picked up by Orochimaru and joined Otogakure. Would you agree?
  3. In the German version of Sha no Sho it's said that Jugo is actually eating humans. Is that correct? Seelentau 愛 16:26, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
  1. Could you translate the part, please?
  2. Are you aware that Karin wears a Kusagakure foreahead protector in her flashback after the fight with Danzō? She even attended the same Chūnin exams as Sasuke.
  3. Ah, I see... the German translators often do such a bad job... I hope I can change that, if I can become a translator :D Anyways, thanks for the quick answering Seelentau 愛 17:33, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
  1. Thank you very much :) That leaves many speculative points, indeed...
  2. ...touché Seelentau 愛 18:01, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

And on another issue: Would you say that the owner of the Rinnegan automatically has all five natures or would you say that it just fastened up the progress of learning them? Because your translation of the Sha no Sho article about the Rinnegan suggests that the latter possibilty is true. That would mean that Madara isn't able to use all natures, since he still has to master them... right? btw, sorry for all the edits here, but those questions just come into my mind when I work in the German Narutopedia^^' Seelentau 愛 19:43, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

But it seems everyone's thinking that the owner of the Rinnegan has the elements from the beginning... anyways, the terms were mentioned in the latest episode, when Sakura tells Naruto about the mission. She remembers what Tsunade says to her about the island and then (still in the flashback) lists the name of the herbs. I wrote them down by ear (as I did with all the other terms from that episode), but it should be correct. Can't figure out a meaning for the herbs, though. Seelentau 愛 23:23, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Chakra Isolation Chamber

Could you translate this term (ch. 534 page 13 I think)?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:24, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

I quick-checked this and as far as I can see, there's no such a term given. Killer B says:
「ここはチャクラを中からも外からも遮断」, (Koko ha chakura o naka kara mo soto kara mo shadan.)
As you can see, there's no real term. It's just described as a closed room or something. Maybe Suki-san can say more. Seelentau 愛 21:11, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
No, you're completely correct. B merely says that the room is "isolates chakra both inside and outside." No real terms are used. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 22:34, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

Flow? Liquefaction? Something else?

After a long while, I have decided to use an idea for Water/Wind/Yin I was suggested by GoDai, that I had left benched. Basically, it's a nature that melts things, though not by heat, it simply makes things melt. The idea behind it is that wind, which in Naruto usually has the effect of either acting on a nature (such as cooling Water into Ice), or else taking on a property of another nature (taking/enhancing Fire's heat in Scorch, what I believe; carrying the effect of Lightning in Magnet, should it be revealed as a Wind/Lightning combination). It would also tie in with wind cutting molecular bonds, as you explained Dust Release to someone in some talk page. Now, that wind would carry the liquid property of water (or maybe it would simply be enhanced by it, since both water and wind are fluid) with the form creating aspect of Yin Release, making stuff simply become liquid, or maybe even gaseous, since it's fluid. I found the terms liquid (液体, ekitai), fluid (流体, ryūtai) and liquefaction (液化, ekika). Is 流化 (ryūka) the word for fluidification or did I make up a word? Any other word that might describe these effects? And for the purification nature, I put down Junton, would that be the appropriate pronunciation for 純 when in 純遁? I saw that it can also be "shun" or "ton". Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 19:14, August 14, 2011 (UTC)

Upon further research, I found out fluidisation. As far as the word goes, I think that is correct, though I'm still reading the article. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:01, August 14, 2011 (UTC)
Well, fluidisation seems to be a word, and from a slight google search of 流化, some of the results had to do with terms I saw in that article, such as fluidised bed (流化床, ryūkatoko). Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:10, August 16, 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 279

Why in your translation of A Miraculous Power…!! is "Fushigi no Chikara" and not na? Also I did some changes in your translations, including changing wide characters for ormal one.--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:48, August 14, 2011 (UTC)

OK, thanks for response.--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:59, August 15, 2011 (UTC)
Anyway, do you think that "fushigi na" is better than "fushigina". I think you usually writes things like this connected.--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:05, August 15, 2011 (UTC)
Also, do you think it's better to write "Rasen Shuriken" than "Rasenshuriken"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:14, August 15, 2011 (UTC)
And about chapter 283: shuldn't it be "sagashi" instead of "chigashi"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:16, August 16, 2011 (UTC)

Should all "vs" be changed to "VS" in the kanji-written text?--LeafShinobi (talk) 22:09, August 21, 2011 (UTC)
OK. "、" should stay as it is, I think?--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:24, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
Shouldn't it be "kataruna" instead of "kotaruna" in your translation of chapter 477's name. The name of Attack of the Conference Room!! should have two exvlamation marks, shouldn't it?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:32, August 23, 2011 (UTC)
And why the name of chapter 478 is completely different from this from your translations?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:36, August 23, 2011 (UTC)
And are you sure this is correct?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:56, August 23, 2011 (UTC)
Why Shinobi World Wars haven't "Great" in the names if the kanji have "大"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:34, August 23, 2011 (UTC)
Should really name of chapter 514 have exclamation marks? And less important, should "chakura" in the name of The Nine-Tails' Chakra, Freed!! be capitalised?--LeafShinobi (talk) 13:18, August 24, 2011 (UTC)
But in Facing the Great Shinobi World War…!! should be the "Great", shouldn't it? And about both chapter and volume The People Starting to Move: should the "-Tachi" really be capitalised? In other cases you don't capitalise it, do you? Anyway, we moved "Fist" to "Fists" do you think is that correct?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:20, August 25, 2011 (UTC)
And do you think Kotoamatsukami (chapter) should be 'Kotoamatsukami' as in your translations?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:33, August 25, 2011 (UTC)
Very thanks. Sorry for bothering you.--LeafShinobi (talk) 18:54, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
If you changed "Sasuke's Susanoo" to "Sasuke's Susanoo" should its older name "The Complete Form of Susanoo" to "The Completed Form of Susanoo"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:08, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
Does rōmaji for The One Who Dies is…?! and Now, for Sure…!! need capitalising? And could you move Sasuke's "Susanoo"…!! to Sasuke's Susanoo…!! if it isn't done yet. I only changed the content between the pages.--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:46, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks.--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:13, August 27, 2011 (UTC)
I see this time you used "Rasenshuriken" in romaji.--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:52, September 14, 2011 (UTC)

Kuchiyose: Aian Meiden

Hi, it's me again. I have a problem with the different meanings of Kuchiyose: Aian Meiden. I think I didn't understood your countless explanations as well as I thought :/ Could you maybe explain it again? Because you know, I never encountered this type of Kanji/Furigana combination...thing :/ Seelentau 愛 23:57, August 14, 2011 (UTC)

Also, could you maybe check the Kanji here? I think they're wrong, but can't figure out better ones. Seelentau 愛 20:08, August 15, 2011 (UTC)
Also, do you have information about the real life novel Dokonjō Ninden? I couldn't find anything about it here, but on other websites. But there are some Kanji I dunno how to translate (忽, 混, 沌, 儵 and 混沌). Could you maybe do it? Also, if you actually know more about it, could you maybe provide the character's Japanese names? Seelentau 愛 15:16, August 16, 2011 (UTC)
  1. It has some in the article here...
  2. Dunno... :/ I was just wondering, since it came into my attention when I browsed the article.
  3. They're the names of the four villages. The last name was the one for two of those villages when they were still one village. Seelentau 愛 19:08, August 21, 2011 (UTC)
  1. Yes, but that was not what I was getting at. What I mean is, could you explain (again) how Furigana work, what they're there for and how I should translate names with Kanji names and Katakana as Furigana^^
  2. I don't understand how it is translated as Rock staff. :/
  3. Tha last one's shuku, right? Also, are you sure about the motsu? My translator translates it as くつ kotsu Seelentau 愛 00:23, August 22, 2011 (UTC)
It's okay, don't force yourself^^ I'm going to change the translation, then. Thanks for answering my questions, Suki-san :) Seelentau 愛 00:53, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

So if I want to use the Japanese name as the article's name, I've to write Rariatto, Aian Meiden and such. And the translation has to be the one for the Kanji (if there are any), right? Or should I ignore the Kanji and translate the Furigana? Why do they even use Kanji, why don't they just write ラリアット? Seelentau 愛 12:20, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

Some while ago you said that I shouldn't name my articles in the original (Lariat), but in the Japanese word for it (Rariatto). As of now it can be found under Rariatto, with the Kanji and the translation of the Kanji. The Furigana, usual reading of the Kanji and the translation of the word in German are all in the Trivia^^ Seelentau 愛 18:33, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

Does the kanji 乾 exist on its own as a word in Japanese, meaning dry/dryness, or only as a compound forming the verb? The only other word relating what I want for this was 乾燥. What's the best translation for it? I've seen "arid", "dehydration" and "desiccation". There was also 旱魃, for drought, but does it have any meaning relating to dryness without relating it to heat? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:53, August 23, 2011 (UTC)

I know we've seen very little of Scorch, but from the one technique we saw, I'm not sure Scorch would simply act on vaporising water. I saw that as a particularly effective way of using heat, which is kinda what I perceived Scorch Release as being. Dry was suggested to me by GoDai as Earth/Wind/Yin. The form creating aspect changing stuff into "dryness" or aridity of earth and air. I know it kinda doesn't fit with Yin being damp and Yang being dry, unless I put it as the Yin desiccating things by taking in the water to become damp itself. Not necessarily through heat, like Scorch does. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:00, August 24, 2011 (UTC)
Is there any difference between 乾性 and just 乾? And how is 乾 on its own, "inui", "kawakasu", or "kawaku"? 乾遁 is Kanton, Kenton or Genton? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:38, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 552 Stuff

  • Title: The Requirements for Hokage…!! (火影の条件…!!, Hokage no Jōken…!!)
  • Wind Release: Cast Net (風遁・掛け網, Fūton: Kakeami). I think this might be something of a joke. 掛け網 isn't really an everyday term used in Japan. A more common term, however, is the inverse of it: 網掛け (amikake), which Kishimoto-sensei especially would be very familiar with. It refers to a specific cross-hatching technique.

Japanese wikipedia techniques

So, I'm going though the Japanese wikipedia pages, and I found 水遁・水粒泡付球 for Water Release: Water Sky Convergence. It's very clear to me that the translation isn't correct, but all the translations I get sound strange. I don't know if the name is meant to be something rather strange (something involving water droplets and foam) or if there's a pun I'm missing. I'll probably take more translations to see if there's something we're missing as well. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:19, August 25, 2011 (UTC)

I also found the correct name for Vanishing Smell Smoke Prison, though I'm not sure I translated it properly. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:59, August 25, 2011 (UTC)
I knew I got the smoke one right on the rōmaji because the page provides pronunciation. The kanji the page provides for the Water Release technique are those. I watched the episode this technique debuts in, and the pronunciation given in the Wikipedia article is correct. I haven't watched the other episodes for that arc, but from I could tell based on our articles, the technique is used in episodes 187, 188 and 189. The name is definitely said at the end of 187, when it is used for the first time. Not sure if it's used in the other two. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:25, August 26, 2011 (UTC)

And I don't want some little minion to tell me how naruto is manifestation of sage, maybe he is but they are two diferent persons with diferent powers and looks. Also all people here from all iunimportant things don't see the obwious, Omnibender siad that I have the poor understanding of manga, but it is a lie, because everybody here talk about unimportant things like jutsus, and fightingsm, and philosophy, that is the same story as if some people conquered world with holly spear, because it isn't truth , because spuear wasn't holy, had no powers, its occult noncence because man strike with was just a man... I just confirmed something interesting.

I have confirmed that it is 2 years and 3 months after Naruto Part 1 ends, that Part 2/Shippuden starts and Naruto returns to Konoha. Orochimaru has to wait 3 years to switch bodys and he switched during the Sound 5 final fight, 3 months later and Naruto leaves for training and Part 1 ends. That's already 3 months off of the 3 year waiting time. When Yamato, Naruto, Sakura, and Sai meet Sasuke again and get whooped Sai says to them "We still have 6 more months." alluding to the time limit on Orochimaru's Body Transfer Techniques time limit. 6 Months later when Sasuke absorbs Orochimaru six months has passed since the fight with new Team 7, and 2 years and 9 months has passed since Part 1 ended and as we all know Databook 2 stated Naruto and all the people in his age group were ALL 13 years old By the end of Part 1. Also, during Anko's talk to the Third Hokage about wishing she wouldn't have came back alive from the forest of death and if the 4th was still here then Orochimaru would pay The Third Hokage says it has been 13 years since the 4th died to protect the village, and that's 1 month after the Preliminaries of the Chunin Exams end that the Third Hokage states that, and remember that when Naruto Part 1 started Naruto was 12 years old, and his whole age group was 12 years old by the end of Volume 13. He said:
  • "Did he just summon a mechanical armour?!" (「カラクリの鎧を召還したのか!?」, "Karakuri no yoroi o shōkan shita no ka!?")
The word he uses for 'summon' — 召還 — is not the same as the one used for the Summoning Technique, though. (Which is 口寄せる, by the way.) 召還 implies you call something back after first having sent it away. It is used in particular for when diplomats and envoys and summoned back to their country. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 15:25, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

Divine Mangekyo Sharingan

Hello. Can I again ask you for a request? To make what I call "Divine Mangekyo Sharingan", which has all powers of known MS? I can tell you how it is created, but the important thing is it has an aspects of all known MS. I would draw how it would look like, because it is quite hard to incorporate them all into one, especialyl Sasuke's and Shisui's.--VolteMetalic (talk) 20:07, September 5, 2011 (UTC)

Yes, I have an appearance of it, and I will show you :) When I will draw it, its still just in my mind. --VolteMetalic (talk) 05:29, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

Here it is. Image. The outer part is made out mostly by Madara's and Kakashi's, while center by Sasuke's and Shisui's. The small tips are supposed to be Shisui's, bu I didnt made them like that. It is not as accurate, but you cna get the idea how it would look like :) --VolteMetalic (talk) 20:39, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

Hmmm... Itachi's tips could be thinner, so they "theoretically" (when there will not be Shisui's) meet at the edge of the red ring, like on Sasuke's eternal. Other than that, I am satisfied with it :)

Yours... for my taste it is not as detailed, but its still good idea :D Maybe mine would aso have these... how they are called... tomoes coming from Madara's (or Izuna's?) disks. Like instead of pure disks they will be red tomoes. Hmm... make first the changes on Itachi's, and than the tomoes. When the tomoes will dont look good, you can revert it quickly back to disks :)

Just a theoretical question, how would you give someone Sharingan, Rinnegan and Byakugan at once? So that the face isnt "messed" by three eyes (it looks weird)? Place Byakugan maybe on the back of the head so it is covered by hair and you can still see all around, on the arm/somewhere-else, or try a crazy thing, and merge it with Rinnegan, to make soemthing like "white Rinnegan"?

... I have no words... flawless xD Yes, now it is perfect, the "Kami no Mangekyō Sharingan" :D

Third eye is by that depicted as being violet, and Byakugan is white... I would better see a merged Byakugan and Rinnegan into one eye, both by implanting one to other like its done with Mangekyo Sharingans, or genetic breeding of the DNA, making a new doujutsu. But Madara has also three holes in his new mask, maybe he will put some other eye for the upper hole. Will see.VolteMetalic (talk) 15:45, September 8, 2011 (UTC)

And one thing for Rinnegan. The middle ring (the first from the pupil) is supposed to be darker than the rest. Like here:

I have seen it also on few other pictures of him. --VolteMetalic (talk) 07:04, September 9, 2011 (UTC)

I have an question on you. How would you depictt an KG, which is manifesting itself with the veins and eye glowing bright red? Just a question.

And about the "third" eye Byakkugan, I was thinking of migrating it with the "doujutsu" of Shion, so granting the eye an ability to see future, along with Byakkugan's nearly full vision + one special ability from one very successful doujin, something like "seeing souls of dead" or something. It goes well with the "third eye" being able to be of "enlightenment", hmm? :) --VolteMetalic (talk) 23:01, October 5, 2011 (UTC)

Chapter 554 Stuff

All this is from rather bad spoilers, so don't take it as too definite:

  • I don't know the title yet.
  • Earth Release: Earth Style Wall of Ten Thousand Ri (土遁・万里土流壁, Doton: Banri Doryūheki)
    • A ri () is an old unit of distance. It used to be about half a kilometre — and still is in China, where it is called a — but elongated over time until it was fixed on 3927,27 metres during the Meiji period (1868–1912). A thousand ri is used as a general measurement for a very long distance. Ten thousand ri is that turned to eleven. There is a well-known saying by the famous Chinese philosopher Lǎozǐ that goes, "a journey of a thousand lǐ begins with a single step" (千里之行,始于足下, Qiān lǐ zhī háng, shǐ yú zú xià).
  • Lava Release: Rubber Wall (熔遁・護謨壁, Yōton: Gomuheki)
    • As this is from spoilers, I cannot with any certainty say whether these kanji are actually correct. There's the 溶/熔 thing again, of course, but this time there's also the question of whether 'rubber' (護謨, gomu) should be written in kanji, as the word's usually written in katakana: ゴム. The kanji for 'rubber' literally mean 'deliberately safeguard', which fits both the usually definition of 'rubber' and the slang definition of 'condom'.
  • Hell Stab: Four-Finger Nukite (地獄突き・四本貫手, Jigokuzuki: Yonhon Nukite)
    • A nukite (貫手, Literally meaning: crossbeam hand) is a move used in martial arts like karate, where you strike the opponent your finger stretched out. A four-finger nukite (四本貫手, yonhon nukite) uses the four fingers and, when aimed at the throat, is called a hell stab (地獄突き, jigokuzuki). The two-finger nukite (二本貫手, nihon nukite) and one-finger nukite (一本貫手, ippon nukite) are also used. A three-finger nukite (三本貫手, sanbon nukite) seems to be somewhat rare, though.
There's finally a raw out, so here are my new and improved translations:
  • The title: The Limit of the Rasen Shuriken…!! (螺旋手裏剣の限界…!!, Rasenshuriken no Genkai…!!)
  • Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall of Ten Thousand Ri (土遁・万里土流壁, Doton: Banri Doryūheki)
  • Lava Release: Rubber Wall (熔遁・護謨壁, Yōton: Gomuheki)
    • Yes, it is written with 熔 and not 溶.
  • Hell Stab: Four-Finger Nukite (地獄突き・四本貫手, Jigokuzuki: Yonhon Nukite) and Three-Finger Nukite (三本貫手, Sanbon Nukite)
    • I think the actual name of the technique is Hell Stab (地獄突き, Jigokuzuki) and that the Nukite parts are simply different forms of it.
Let's hope the raw of chapter 555 will be out sooner >< —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 13:42, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
Could you please also translate the sections which define the Third Raikage's "strongest weapon" and "strongest shield" on page 15, as I believe that they are a reference to an old anecdote that illustrates a contradiction, so your input would be really appreciated. Blackstar1 (talk) 15:44, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
Dodai says: "As the power is concentrated into a single point by decreasing the number of fingers, that Hell Stab becomes the Third's strongest spear! And that tough body of his that can withstand any jutsu becomes his strongest shield" (「あの地獄突きは指の数を減らしていくほど力が一点に集中していき、三代目最強の矛となる!そしてどんな術にも耐える強靭な肉体が最強の盾になる」, "Ano Jigokuzuki wa yubi no kazu o herashite iku hodo chikara ga itten ni shūchū shite iki, Sandaime saikyō no hoko to naru! Shoshite donna jutsu ni mo taeru kyōjinna nikutai ga saikyō no tate ni naru").
I'm pretty sure he's referring to that story you mentioned. It's kinda obvious he is. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 16:23, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks once again and now I've taken a closer look at the respective kanji, you're right, the relation is blatantly obvious. Also, I support your belief that Hell Stab is the actual name of the technique but I'm not yet confident on the best manner to represent the different variations in a single article, so I'll maybe wait for some more input before undertaking the alteration, if it's supported by others. Blackstar1 (talk) 16:52, September 14, 2011 (UTC)
In regards to the Nukite, I think we should wait until the raws for 555 come out, because there's mention of a one finger nukite in the translation and going from the way it sounds, hell stab would just become the parent and the others derived techniques... or something like that.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 00:52, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
Why the added hyphen to the Earth Release technique? There were no changes between what we knew and what the raw shows. The regular Earth Style Wall used by Hiruzen and Kakashi don't have it either. In an unrelated note, can you clarify on some of the kana used for sfx regarding the Third Raikage? The ones I mean are bottom right panel, second panel from the bottom at the left side (not the one that's the same as the big one on the panel to the right), top panel, just above the tattooed shoulder, and bottom right panel. Do any of those indicate any Edo Tensei associated regeneration? I've seen many people discussing whether Rasenshuriken actually worked or not. I'm fairly certain that it did affect him, and that the reason he just got up is because ET regeneration + his natural endurance just got him up faster. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:55, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
The hyphen was me correcting myself. Adjectives consisting of multiple words should have a hyphen connecting them. E.g. 'a sixteen-year-old boy', 'an Asian-American woman'. En dashes should be used when the two parts of the adjective are equal. E.g. 'Dutch–UK relationships', 'the Tory–Lib-Dem coalition'. 'Earth-Style' should always have had a hyphen.
The sound effects are, in order:
  1. Steam, mist (シュ~~, shu~~)
  2. A harder form of the one above, like air leaking from a tyre (プシュ~, pushu~)
  3. Annoyance, anger (ムウ…, muu…)
  4. Sliding, like landing on sand and trying to stop (ザシュ, zashu)
None of these are the regular sound of an Edo Tensei regenerating, which would be ズズズ (zuzuzu). Also, Haku is amazing. He could withstand a combined kick from Guy and lee without needing regeneration… —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 01:27, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
As cool as I find Haku (pun not intended), I don't think that Guy and Lee kick quite compares to Rasenshuriken in terms of damage. So Raikage didn't regenerate from the Rasenshuriken? I always took the steaming/smoke coming out of them as a sign of them regenerating, similar to the steam that comes out when the talisman that controls personalities is inserted, and the paper effect happening when the damage is great enough to cause great injury or mutilation. Could the first two then mean something like residual wind/wind-natured chakra left from the attacks? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:41, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
The first two probably show the effects of the Wind chakra reacting with the Lightning chakra, or something like that. It's basically just telling us that the Raikage was just hit with something that should have done some major damage.
Also, Haku doesn't have a ninjutsu giving him the (not-so-)ultimate shield as a body. He also never received formal shinobi training and was only fifteen when he died. I find that almost as impressive as the Raikage's feat of somehow withstanding a technique that should do damage at a cellular level. I wonder how the Raikage would do against Deidara's C4… —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 01:49, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
Zabuza did train Haku if I'm not mistaken, so that must count for something, agreed on the ninjutsu granting protection. I wonder how the Raikage would do against Dust Release, should it actually hit him. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:03, September 15, 2011 (UTC)
I must say, though, that the scene of Haku withstanding those kicks made me realise why he was given as much potential as Naruto and Sasuke in the first databook. He could have been among the most powerful shinobi ever to grace the Narutoverse, had he lived.
Given how the Raikage could nullify the damage of a Fūton technique — something Raiton is weak against — makes me think that, if there's anyone capable of somehow surviving being hit by a Jinton technique, it would be him. Still, I have a feeling something as unprecedented as a three-element fusion would outweigh a Raiton armour combined with a strong body. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 02:51, September 15, 2011 (UTC)

Could you also translate the text written in the first panel on page one please. The "vs" bit.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 12:53, September 17, 2011 (UTC)

Hero: Naruto vs. greatest: the previous Raikage!! (英雄・ナルトVS最豪・先代雷影!!, Eiyū: Naruto bāsasu saigō: sendai Raikage!!)
The word used for the Raikage's description (最豪) can mean anything from 'greatest' to 'strongest' to 'manliest'. It uses the same kanji as the Great Fireball Technique. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 14:44, September 17, 2011 (UTC)
So does that mean he's being referred to as the strong/greatest (past) Raikage?--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 14:55, September 17, 2011 (UTC)
I would say he's being referred to as the greatest Raikage. Strongest is generally written as 最強, so I wouldn't use that word. Also, he isn't being referred to as the greatest past Raikage, but just the greatest Raikage, and even then the Raikage part is only implied. It's written rather oddly. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 16:46, September 17, 2011 (UTC)

Was Lava Release clearly said to use the "lava" nature of chakra? After we saw quicklime and rubber (and I personally think Mei's wall-blocking technique didn't resemble lava in the manga either, but of course it was lava in the anime), isn't it possible that it's simply meant to say something along the lines of "Melt Release," since it manipulates substances related to solid/liquid states? I guess the rubber might be more symbolic, but I'm just thinking, since it doesn't seem to be limited to lava at all. --GoDai (talk) 06:17, September 8, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, you are definitely right on that. But any idea what rubber has to do with lava or any out-of-the-ground materials? I mean, gunpowder and clay definitely had to do something with their original natures, right? --GoDai (talk) 23:42, September 9, 2011 (UTC)
Allow me to meddle. There is a connection, though it's a very weak one in my opinion. Vulcanisation. It's a process used to make rubber stronger, which has some ties with lava through temperature (and maybe composition, considering the sulphur), but that still doesn't explain how the rubber itself is created, only how it's strengthened. Kazekage's Gold

Could you translate what one of the Sand's councilors says in chapter 547, page 5. It's in the second row on the right. I read a translation that implies that the Fourth actually creates his gold. This would explain where all that gold came from.--Deva 27 14:58, September 8, 2011 (UTC)

Magic icon?

You make the nature icons, right? But do you take requests too? If you are, then I have one request for an Kekkei Genkai icon for an magic nature if it's possible. Plasma and diamond icons?

Hello, I hope this isn't too much for you. But I have two more requests for nature icons of plasma and diamond kekkei genkai. Would be nice if you could make them for me, thank you. ^^ Fate T. Harlaown (talk) 15:59, September 9, 2011 (UTC)

Ah, that is too bad, then I will skip those two. But would icons of gold and silver kekkei genkai be possible? Fate T. Harlaown (talk) 16:26, September 9, 2011 (UTC)

They look really nice, and you are good at making them. Is is also possible to make kekkei tōta versions of the kekkei genkai icons? Do you upload them in a new file? I'm not sure, but I'm curious so that's why I'm asking it. ^^ Fate T. Harlaown (talk) 17:41, September 9, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, thanks for telling me. But you would be able to make the freezing icon to a kekkei tōta version? Would be nice of you. Fate T. Harlaown (talk) 21:05, September 9, 2011 (UTC)

おっす! after a long time, I'm back into business and as always, I have a question for you to answer, if you don't mind. It's an rather easy one this time: So, I attended my first Japanese lesson today since a couple of years and during that lesson, my sensei wrote あおい and said, it means blue. I stated that it can also mean green, but she refused. So now I'm confused, sinde I'm 99% sure that あおい means both, green AND blue. But she's 日本人, so she should know better, right? Can you solve this big mystery pls? :) Seelentau 愛 17:31, September 9, 2011 (UTC)

ah, I see. She used the traffic light example, too. But I don't want to make such a big deal out of it, so I won't mention it again. I know I'm right and she's... too, but I know better :D Thanks for the explanation :) also, why's the kanji for しのぶ in 押忍? And why does my translator say it's shinobu and not shinobi? ô.o Seelentau 愛 19:20, September 9, 2011 (UTC)
Japanese is a deep and mysterious language... do you want to work in Japan when you've finished school (or whatever you're doing atm)? Or are you just learning it for "teh lulz"? Seelentau 愛 22:48, September 9, 2011 (UTC)
High school? Don't you live in the Netherlands? Is it called high school there, too? Seelentau 愛 23:32, September 9, 2011 (UTC)
ah... well, being from Germany, I don't know that much about the English school system. Anyway, on a different note: Why did you translate 神羅天征 as Heavenly Subjugation of the Omnipresent God? Do you have some kind of system when it comes to translating such... weird names? Afaik, 神羅天征 is just a series of Kanji, right? So, why not translating it as Godly Subjugation of Heaven (as I did)? I know, I ignored the 羅 part, but that's because I don't know the meaning of that Kanji. My translator say it's an abbreviation for Latin or a word for silk gazar (or for penis^^) Seelentau 愛 09:46, September 10, 2011 (UTC)
But there's no の in the name, so why isn't it 'Omnipresent God Heavenly Subjugation'? Seelentau 愛 12:06, September 10, 2011 (UTC)

ah, as it is in the Kanji for the Totsuka etc. too, huh? Could you tell me if Ōnoki was called 'strongest senior ninja' anywhere, especially in chapter 513? Seelentau 愛 16:03, September 10, 2011 (UTC)

Maybe it's not of relevance here, but the German Narutopedia has it in the Trivia and I wanted to know the Japanese name^^ Thank you for your time, Suki-san :) Seelentau 愛 20:19, September 10, 2011 (UTC)

Something about Tailed Beasts

A few chapters back, did Chiyo say something about Gaara being the first compatible one from the Fourth's children? Does that imply only some people are able to have beasts sealed into them, or that some are better-fitting than others? --GoDai (talk) 00:54, September 10, 2011 (UTC)

Do you know what Naruto is saying at 0:17-0:21, 0:36-0:41 and 1:32-1:40 on this trailer on Blood Prison? Would be nice if you knew. Here is the link on the trailer: Goten_ssj3 (talk) 20:18, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

The Bashousen is said to be able to produce all 5 elements. do you know what kanji were used for the word "element" when they said that? If I recall, the 5 "elements" are usually referred to as chakra natures. --GoDai (talk) 23:30, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

And oh yes, did Hiruko (missing-nin) actually say that absorbing 5 kekkei genkai with the Chimera Technique will grant the user mastery over all 5 natures? I'm not sue if he actually said that, I heard that someone heard him say "godai" but I didn't really hear him say "seishitsu". --GoDai (talk) 05:07, September 14, 2011 (UTC)

Hmm, but is Godai used for the elements in Naruto though? Well, I mean the term was used in the introduction to Nature Transformation but wasn't it always "seishitsu"? --GoDai (talk) 00:28, September 16, 2011 (UTC)

The Second Fanbook stuff

Hello! I was reading some translations for the Second Fanbook on narutoforums and could not find any for these pages: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Uchiha Sasuke "Sasuke, who's made the label of "genius" his wish, demonstrates his true worth even here!! Now that he's obtained Mangekyou Sharingan, his scores should increase even further!!" Do you have the original un-translated text of this? and can you tell me does it mean his Databook 3 stats are from when he unlocks the Mangekyo Sharingan and on wards or are they from his fight with Itachi? ItachiWasAHero (talk) 18:06, September 15, 2011 (UTC)

"Haruno Sakura Over 2 points up in three entries! With her evolution in taijutsu and strength, is it appropriate to name her the "second coming of Tsunade"......?!"

This confirms that the stats are based on tiers so someone with a 5 in strength is definitely stronger than someone with a 4.5 in strength. So Tsunade, Sakura, Gai, and Jirobo are 5 Tier's in strength, which means each tier is stronger then the lower number tier. ItachiWasAHero (talk) 18:09, September 15, 2011 (UTC)

Relax, this arguing is my common stuff both home and on net and in coladge it doesn't lead to anything...I know you're some kind of moving talking encyclopedia, because I'm also an encyclopedia...But we don't know actually what does Kishimoto think because nobody of us didn't met him, so how do we know anything about him beside he said in interview, manga and anime...One thing is sure he as everybody else writers etc etc do that for money not for fun, because fun can not fill stomach and feed your kids. So best way he can make more money is to atract us to manga with interesting things...People who read managa are more deep minded than people who read supehero comics. Superheros are for slow minded...—This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) . Okay enough with the formality only thing I'm interested is how are chances that Hinata marry or be Naruto's girlfriend that is all, I'm not interested in any jutsu or Kishimotos inspiration or anything...In fact I'm pretty sure that Kishimoto keeps that for end, but idiot I'm and the way God hates me I'm not sure for anything nov... I just need stupid answer...You don't know anything about me as all people here, so you don't know my reasons and goals...So just simple answer will he marry her or no, and will he ever give her atention as she gave to him...If I satisfie my spirits I will leave both you and all people I have bothered and tormented with my stupid anoying... Yo know the story of man who told the world about Dracula Count Vladislav Zepesh, the son of Vlad the man who fought the Turks. Dracula was Turkish prisoner, as in Midleages Velmoshds gave their children to prevent the war. So Turks raped him and his brother. Vlad became opsesed with impaling because that was his defense mechanismus from his traumatic expirience. He impaled his own people creating forest of dead impaled people, so Turks were frighned, they called Sultan, and he reacled invasion on Vlakia. So only man who survived Dracula was a young monch who was asked where he Dracula will go for his deeds in Hell or Haeven. He probably told him the logical thing that when man is dead he is jut dead he goes nowhere. So an advice, when a annoying maniac like me ask you simple question just say what he wants to hear, it easy us all...So will he marry her or not? I just realized I don't heve to folow you or anybody...Blind obidience is worse than self pity...And yeah Shinobigashira is evil because people who had no troublesom past and do bad things are evil...Like people who causes wars just so they can sell guns and war tools...He didn't had trubelsom past like Naruto or Gaara, he was highranked and sant in špeace mision, yet he stabs knife in back of country who hailed him as friend buy kidnapping young girl etc etc...How would you feel if lets say your sister would be kidnapped...Also Hinata is not weak she is as may sound chauvinistic a girl, girls are stron by being able to get pregnatn and bring children to life, but girls are not good for wars, because they are to emotional...From dawn of time to today men had hunted, killed and gone to war, so Hinata is perfect sample of normal kind girl who is going to be a good mother...And that is it...And by the way it is manga for children...

Now I could say a milion things to kill that teory, but as I see you really like to do that with numbers, number one, number two etc etc...I said as I see and you can't change my way of looking, because again I was in war you not, I have unstablče country that is faling apart tha Netherland is OK, more people dies in my contr than it is born, and that selfpitying it is not self piting at all it is chasing away bad luck, like knocking in wood...Or like reverse pchychology, or mechanismus of defense, we living in bad world so is Hinata...

Can't tell ya...My country is one of worse for its politic and economic state...We had wars with some states from region, just some people can sell guns...Also all crap that is going in my country both from our politician today and in past is going on my nerve, all about nationalismus and capitalismus. They constantly bombing us with some information that normal person can take it...All that began year I was born and is up today...On one side are church and nationalist on another are some west proorianted politician who do everything they had being told and suck to everybody US, China, Russia, EU...In past two decade our capitol has being demolished more than five times...We are in state Germany was after WW1...But don't bother, as soon as get some money and position I'm going living internationaly working and so... Mmm no you wouldn't,you would think as it is presented to you...So you are as I can see an analytic type of person so that means that your left cerebral half is better evolved than the right(maybe I'm wrong), so let us test your marvels,, I'm the east on the west and west on the east...The Maijor God of my ancestors had no body...My ancestors went west east and south...We had an Empire, but it was dead in moon and stars night, and it went for a begining of weakend that we killed that Empire, and now it is begining of a Sunday...A riddle...Notice ,,an Empire, and ,,that Empire two diferent things...—This unsigned comment was made by (talkcontribs) . You never asked yourself if I like so much Hinata and hate Shinobigashira, why then I don't hate Nagato, I mean Shinobigasihra didn't harmed Hinata he just kidnapped her, maybe he didn't wanted to do any harm to her maybe he wanted to take her to Kumogakure and train her to fight as Kumonin, I mean that was the pratice in my homeland by invadors, they took young children and trained them to forget their parents and be soldiers for Empire...But nevermind, because Nagato even if he almost killed Hinata he had reason for fight, he was devasted by war, you know war isn't as poytraited, it is a bunch of guys children age 19 to 26 as we are waering uniformes and guns and going as wild do0gs, killing etc etc...No war is good, and no war brings peace or freedom to people, wars and revolution only happens from interest of those who lead them,l some to preserve trone, someone tio earn money and someone to have control...Napoleon was same monster as Hitler, there was nothing Grand in his Grand armee...He also putted people in improvised gas chambers...And so Napoleon and Hitler live today, they work for their employers, killing thousand of man women and children for lame excuses like Civilazing savages, and bringing Christianity...Now I know I'm boring, but it is all so simple, people just need to open their eyes, not to be blinded...Oh by the way that you said about accusation of a nation, well my nation was accused and almost extrminated, and nobody care, so I can accused who I want...Is life of fifteen terrorist worth to kill thousands? But a terrorist is a point of view, terrorist is someone who works against big countries, when there is a terrorist in small country wich doesn't have influence, he is called a freedom fighter...Just as Akatsuki... That's it I will not change my opinion just becauser your an administrator, you don't created that manga, so you can just gues. Also her flow is not as big as Sasukes flow in a view of rage problem, and wanting to kill everybody who he met. Also Naruto can't love Sasuke more than Hinata, because Hinata gave him everything he always wanted, respect and admiration. Sasuke just wants to kill Naruto, so by my opinion Naruto has also some flow by chasing a idiot who is blind with perfect eyesight, and maybe Kishi is juts making story go stupid I don't know...Also there are too many of you modern Ronins who giving me lecture in life and everything else...I don't want to boder and hurt people, but you ,,people always running in my way, making me feel frustrated...Also you all enjoying yourself why I'm feeling like a scumbag, and everything I do is as you all told me to...Well it is not going to be that way anymore...I'm taking guitar lessons by my self, and going to finish that novel, and win Model 1 72 diorama contest... Maybe I should tell you because than I will see are you that kind of analitic and logic, or you just faking it so to be popular... Just to remind you Sakumo Hatake saved peoples lives and was despised by everybody for his kind deed...He also was high ranking, and was despised by his home and countryman for saving somebody, while shinobigashira who did bad deed, and in his atempt turned out to be a weakling, isn't despised by noone not even Neji or Hinata...Sure you can tell hey shinobygashira could send somebody of his ninja's to do so, so maybe by doing this alone he protetced his comrades, but we can't.Also Hinata is important because she is in love with No 1 main caracter the titular one, so her place is high ranking and important imn manga, because every great man has a great women to help him...But hey you are a gay so you probably has another opinion like every great man has a great man8Naruto and Sasuke), but that is probably going to be changed as soon as Naruto kills Sasuke and Sakura get depresed for it and go in madhouse...

Chapter 555 Stuff

What is it with the ate releases of raws nowadays?

  • The title is Contradiction (矛盾, Mujun). This word is written with the kanji for 'spear' and 'shield', setting the theme for the chapter.
  • Lava Release: Rubber Ball (熔遁・護謨玉, Yōton: Gomudama). It could also be 'Gomutama', but I think it's 'Gomudama'.

ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 18:31, September 20, 2011 (UTC)

I know huh. But you has work. Could you translate what Dodai says one page 5 please. I'm trying to find stuff to support the creation of Three, Two(?) and One finger Nukite articles.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 03:46, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

I take it you mean the part where he says:
  • "He withdrew his Three-Finger Nukite…! Looks like he's trying to knock him out with a punch…!" (「三本貫手を引いた…!パンチで気絶を狙う気だな…!」, Sanbon Nukite o hiita…! Panchi de kizetsu wo nerau ki da na…!)
Personally, I would simply create a page called 'Hell Stab' and list the different nukite on there. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 11:26, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

Sorry for the delay in this but it had completely skipped my mind until now, could you please translate the section on page 3 where Dodai seemingly identifies himself as part of the "communication squad" (which I presume is another sub-section of a division), at least by mangastream's scanlation. Blackstar1 (talk) 00:28, September 22, 2011 (UTC)

Could you also translate what Naruto says about Frog Kata n page 13?--Deva 27 04:42, September 22, 2011 (UTC)

Dodai says he's from the Communications Team (連絡班, Renrakuhan). Naruto says:
  • "Sage Mode's Frog Kata… This way, my ability to sense danger is wider and faster! So I should be able to dodge the stab at the last moment…" (「仙人モードの蛙組手…こっちの方が危険感知は広いし早い!だから突きをギリギリでかわして…」, "Sennin Mōdo no Kawazu Kumite… Kocchi no hō ga kiken kanchi wa hiroishi hayai! Chapter 556 Stuff

No raw yet, but at least we have spoilers. This means everything is still unverified, of course.

  • Title: Gaara vs. the Mizukage!! (我愛羅VS水影!!, Gaara Bāsasu Mizukage!!)
  • Earth Release: Fist Rock Technique (土遁・拳岩の術, Doton: Kengan no Jutsu)
  • Earth Release: Superaggravated Rock Technique. (土遁・超加重岩の術, Doton: Chōkajūgan no Jutsu)
  • The Hōzuki clan's Water Gun Technique (水鉄砲の術, Mizudeppō no Jutsu). It seems to me that Suigetsu and Mangetsu also (were about to) used this before in the manga.
  • Sand Waterfall Layered Imperial Funeral (砂瀑層大葬, Sabaku Sōtaisō)
  • The Mizukage's infinite explosion ninjutsu (無限爆破忍術, mugen bakuha ninjutsu), the Steaming Danger Tyranny (蒸危暴威, Jōki Bōi)
    • This has nothing to do with any ancestors of Mū, by the way. Ōnoki said this technique was something "even my predecessor Mū-sama didn't know how to deal with." Also, 'jōki' means 'steam' when written as 蒸気.

ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 17:33, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

蒸危暴威 is written with ジョーキボーイ as Furigana, right? btw, thank you for answering my former questions :) Seelentau 愛 18:47, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
And would you say that 無限爆破忍術 is a whole new kind of Ninjutsu, like Utakata's or Han's? I mean, was it used as a term or just a description? Seelentau 愛 18:55, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

When a raw becomes available, could you please give a translation for the "sealing seals" mentioned on page 14 as we don't yet have an official name, as well as checking if a unique term is used for the kunai that are thrown? Blackstar1 (talk) 19:26, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

@ Seelentau: I think 無限爆破忍術 is simply a description, as I can't see it being an entire class of ninjutsu. I don't know if 蒸危暴威 used ジョーキボーイ as furigana. I'd need to see the actual raw for that. Right now, I'm not even 100% certain of the kanji used. However, if it does imply a double meaning, it might be a reference to the famous Japanese animation film Steamboy.
@ Blackstar1: I'll get on that as soon as I have a raw. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:34, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
Well, I could say what the spoiler uses… sealing tags (封印札, fūin fuda) and the normal word for kunai. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 19:38, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
Is "Superaggravated" a single word?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:22, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
Practically all words with the 'super' prefix are written without a hyphen, so yeah. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 20:29, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for response.--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:33, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
Can you send me the spoilers/raw which you used? I want to use it to prove that the translation of mangastream is wrong.--Spcmn (talk) 18:20, September 22, 2011 (UTC)

The raw's out ^^ Here's the proper and verified information:

  • No change in the title. It's still Gaara vs. the Mizukage!! (我愛羅VS水影!!, Gaara Bāsasu Mizukage!!).
  • Earth Release: Fist Rock Technique (土遁・拳岩の術, Doton: Kengan no Jutsu).
  • Earth Release: Superaggravated Rock Technique (土遁・超加重岩の術, Doton: Chōkajūgan no Jutsu).
    • It might be pertinent to mention that 加重 can literally be interpreted as 'added weight'.
  • The Hōzuki clan's Water Gun Technique (水鉄砲の術, Mizudeppō no Jutsu).
  • Desert Layered Imperial Funeral (砂漠層大葬, Sabaku Sōtaisō)
  • The Mizukage's infinite explosion ninjutsu (無限爆破忍術, mugen bakuha ninjutsu), the Steaming Danger Tyranny (蒸危暴威, Jōki Bōi).
    • This still has nothing to do with Mū's ancestors, but the way the furigana are written implies it is most definitely supposed to be a pun. The 'bōi' part is probably meant to imply the English word 'boy'. Personally, I'd still go for a reference to Steamboy, as 'jōki' simply means 'steam' when written as 蒸気. It might be more clear when we see the actual technique, though.

ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 14:45, September 25, 2011 (UTC)

In what manner should I translate 蒸危暴威? I think I still don't get what's more precious, the Kanji or the Furigana :/ Seelentau 愛 16:51, September 25, 2011 (UTC)

Could you please translate the term that the Second Mizukage uses to refer to the Giant Clam's genjutsu on page 3 (top panel). Mangastream has it as a "battlefield-wide genjutsu" but from what I can find a wide range genjutsu (広範囲幻術) seems more appropriate and something that might be worth adding to the Mirage Mist Technique page. Blackstar1 (talk) 20:02, September 26, 2011 (UTC)
I think wide-range genjutsu (広範囲幻術, kōhan'i genjutsu) is the best translation. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 20:45, September 26, 2011 (UTC)

Hyphen change

Was it your intention to change the hyphen used in the Third Raikage's Hell Stab? Because the bot you ran to update "Earth Style" to "Earth-Style" moved that, changing the previous hyphen (the same one you used for Madara's Space-Time Migration) to the regular one. For a moment that scared me, because I though that would also change "Earth Style" in viz translation fields in templates for Earth Release techniques, and it'd be a pain to change all those back, but that didn't happen. Basically "–" to "-". About the Hell Stab, considering the variations, wouldn't it be better to move it just to Hell Stab and have the variations listed in the article? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:16, September 21, 2011 (UTC)

This is the sort of nit-picky thing I don't usually learn, but it's probably something I'll remember. I'm not surprised you knowing this considering your languages choice in college. I'm from the biological sciences area, so my expertise is somewhere else. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:37, September 21, 2011 (UTC)
What you think should be used in "Ino-Shika-Cho" - dash or hyphen?--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:19, September 22, 2011 (UTC)
I think that would be the hyphen. Based on the explanation you left in my talk page, shouldn't the hyphen be used instead of the dash in Space–Time Ninjutsu and other articles with "space-time" in it? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:30, September 22, 2011 (UTC)
Actually, I think there should be en dashes in both Ino–Shika–Chō and space–time. Both indicate a connection between the connected words that is completely equal and interchangeable. Basically, if you could switch around the connected words without really changing the meaning, an en dash should be used. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 21:35, September 22, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks.--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:16, September 23, 2011 (UTC)

So, when this hyphen and dash changing started, I moved Yin-Yang Release and related to dash, because it had that "if the meaning stays the same, it should be a dash" you mentioned a while ago. Now with a bit more changes, I decided to play safe and ask, should Yin-Yang Release have dash or hyphen? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:54, October 19, 2011 (UTC)

Well, I still made the correct change, so less harm. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:25, October 19, 2011 (UTC)

I really couldn't tell you. I try to stick to the Japanese version as much as I can and only read the English chapters because they come out before the raws. 猫俣, 猫股 or 猫又?

So, I was re-writing the German Nibi article and wanted to add the Nekomata Trivia. But I stumbled upon three different Japanese names for Nekomata. 猫俣 is what you use here and 猫股 and 猫又 are the Kanji the German Wikipedia is using. What's the correct name and why are there even three different Kanji? And why is it translated as forked cat and not cat fork or so? Seelentau 愛 13:20, September 22, 2011 (UTC)

Well, that was a quick answer, thank you :) So, which Kanji should I use, 猫股 or 猫又? And why does this article say that Nibi was once a human? Did the German translators of the Sha no Sho forgot to translate something? Because you know, in the German version it's nothing said about Nibi once being human. Seelentau 愛 14:16, September 22, 2011 (UTC)
But I doubt that Kishimoto-sensei still decided to make the Bijū some kind of living ghost. I think at the point when the Sha no Sho were released he already decided to use the Jūbi-story... but maybe the term just refers to the former Jinchūriki or so... I hope I'm not being a pest.

I am confused so I need to get some things clear, Who has the most powerful sharingan and who is the most skilled with the sharingan? I think I read that Madara Orochimaru and Itachi each said Sasuke's sharingan was more powerful than Itachi's and about equal with Madara's and that was back when he suppressed the nine tails and that he is the the most powerful with it and the most skilled with it? and I remember someone said Neji's Byakugan was the most powerful and he was the most skilled with it and Hiashi said he surpassed the main branch too? So that makes Sasuke and Neji the best of their clan's right? ItachiWasAHero (talk) 19:01, September 23, 2011 (UTC)

Help with naming

From what we've seen, it seems if necessary, Kishi can simply name a new nature something that seems to make sense, and then give it an effect that doesn't have to perfectly fit its name (Storm is a good example), so I decided to focus on the "name that makes sense" part first. Would something like 風+雷=震 make sense? Or is it too closely related to earthquakes? Is there any other kanji that fits it in context? --GoDai (talk) 08:46, September 24, 2011 (UTC)

Ah, I see. Thanks. Also, I'm growing doubtful of the Sand Release idea. It seemed so great until... well until Kishi refused to call it a nature at the expected moment. Perhaps Kishi is planning to call it a nature, but simply choosing to keep the names he's been using for Gaara's techniques, like what he did with Haku's technique. If Sand turns out to not be a nature, what would fit the combination well? Sand and dust were the best, so would something like powder, with the kanji 粉, fit well? --GoDai (talk) 02:10, September 26, 2011 (UTC)
I like to involve patterns in my theories. Although not necessarily the case, in the "opposite recompositions" (elements that I theorize form opposites to basic elements; Ice, Lava, Explosion, Storm) involved in my theories, one element enahnces the other in a consistent direction.
  • Fire enhances Earth, melting it to form lava. Lava can be produced from the earth, but not from fire.
  • Wind enhances Water, freezing it to form ice. Ice can be produced from water, but not wind.
  • Lightning enhances Fire, making the combustion sudden and burst-like, forming explosion. Theoretically, explosion can be produced from fire, but not lightning.
  • Earth enhances Wind?
  • Water enhances Lightning, making it curve and flow. Storm can be produced from lightning but not water.
As you can see, in this theory of mine, the enhancing agent and the enhanced agents affect each other in one direction. Fire to Earth, Wind to Water, Lightning to Fire, Earth to Wind, and Water to Lightning. I was beginning to doubt this when it seemed to be leading up to sand being an element, but now the possibility returned when no "Sand Release" was shouted. If my theory is correct for the 5th one as well, the element would be the result of Earth characteristics being applied to the Wind nature (which is why I previously thought Dust was a "solidified form of wind", until it became a triple). Following this idea, I was thinking while the name of the nature could be anything that sounded right (such as powder), the actual effect would follow the pattern. --GoDai (talk) 00:09, September 29, 2011 (UTC)

I like the pressure idea, and it makes sense since we have seen Earth change the composition, density and weight of things. The only catch in my theory is that these rules I've come up with only apply to the effects of the nature, and not necessarily its name. The name of the nature can be anything that fits (And hence Storm Release is not called Flowing Electricity Release, despite its effects). Therefore, while the pressure effect is an excellent and completely acceptable theory, the name has to involve both Wind and Earth, and pressure seems too close to Wind since it's how Wind chakra is formed and what wind deals with commonly. (However, I don't necessarily agree with the lack of Wind in Storm. Ever since the beginning, I found it difficult to accept, but Darui's shoulders could not lie about its composition) --GoDai (talk) 01:13, September 29, 2011 (UTC)

Oh you're totally right about the etymology. Hmm what do you think? Could 風+土=圧 work well? I just found that Wind alone was always enough to apply pressure onto things and such, and didn't feel so strongly that it was a possible name for a combination. Well then again, I guess there's Explosion Release. --GoDai (talk) 01:29, September 29, 2011 (UTC)

Oh on another thing about sand, I once theorized that Sand techniques were nature-related, but the sand was not the nature itself. I thought some other force was being utilized to manipulate the sand, like how Magnet Release was being used to manipulate Iron Sand (and Gold Dust). I was thinking Shukaku's chakra was natured in some way to allow it to manipulate sand just like how Magnet Release didn't do much on its own but was powerful when interacting with metallic tools. However, when Gaara transformed, he seemed to have created sand out of his chakra (usually signifying a Release), although that wasn't clear. With the inclusion of Karura's will being the source of the sand manipulation, it leaves me rather confused. --GoDai (talk) 01:52, September 29, 2011 (UTC)

Well I didn't necessarily mean that Shukaku could have Magnet Release, as it is almost general knowledge that one cannot attract sand with magnets. I was just thinking that Shukaku was converting his chakra into some sort of force to manipulate the sand to his will. A Wind-and pressure-related force would make so much sense since Gaara often moves his sand through the air and makes durable structures out of it. Pressure is referred to often when discussing Gaara's techniques, since his "catch and crush" tactics, his miniature Shukaku ultimate defense, as well as his quicksand burial technique. However, the strange part would be that Shukaku cannot manipulate other things with this air pressure-based ability, putting an obstacle in the way of this shakey theory. --GoDai (talk) 02:16, September 29, 2011 (UTC)

Voice actor-Arabic

Hello my friend,

can't we add an arabic voice actor? THANKYOU Small brother (talk) 19:21, September 25, 2011 (UTC)

Hello again I, there was a chance for me to change a little icon of magnetism? I like that instead of that purple is a fucking black dark gray what happens is that I have a character who uses the megnetismo but only uses the Iron Sand of magnetism and the icon seems to me way too colorful (not bad but in my case only uses the Iron Sand consider it more appropriate) from and thank you very much --Juan uchiha senju (talk) 01:50, September 27, 2011 (UTC)

Pain's Attraction/Repulsion vs Gravity, again

While Pain's abilities are always referred to as attraction- and repulsion-based abilities, the three pages on Pain's techniques use the term gravity the most. I understand that the word for "attraction" can mean gravity, but is that an acceptable translation at the moment? I find that the term can fit well on Banshō Ten'in and Chibaku Tensei, but I find that the term for "repulsion" would be much better on Shinra Tensei, since while Pain could be doing some gravity bending to repulse matter away, I don't find it likely that bending gravity is what Kishi meant when he said "斥力". Also, what is the kanji for this "gravity well" mentioned on the large-scale Shinra Tensei? Thanks! --GoDai (talk) 06:15, September 28, 2011 (UTC)

thank you for the welcome message

Navity of a Sea of Trees and Phoenix Sage Flower/Fire

Was in all three places when Sasuke use his Hōsenka (chapters 46, 56 and 227) used "no Jutsu" in the name given (I know that at the first time it's "Phoenix Sage Flower" and in the other places "Fire"). Also, is Yamato's Jukai Kōtan exactly wriiten "Mokuton: Jukai Kōtan"?--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:05, September 29, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks.--LeafShinobi (talk) 20:49, September 29, 2011 (UTC)
When Third Raikage chnaged his Hell Stab from 4 to 3 fingers what did exactly Dodai say about it? (ch. 554, p. 15 I think)--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:17, September 29, 2011 (UTC)
But when he told about change in number of fingers he didn't use the term "Sanbon Nukite", did he? Also, what did say Mifune about Alliance forehead protector and shinobi and samurai joining forces in ch. 515?--LeafShinobi (talk) 19:22, September 30, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. Anyway "Sanbon Nukite" is used in 555 when the third changed it into punch. Could you also write what Haku said when Sasuke failed to mrlt his mirrors?--LeafShinobi (talk) 14:43, October 2, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks again.--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:14, October 2, 2011 (UTC)

Oily water vs. Oil

In earlier chapters, it was stated that his water behaves more like oil, seeping through the sand to destroy it. In Steaming Danger Tyranny, does it outright say the outer layer is just oil? I'm guessing they're referring to the same substance, but what does that mean? The Hydrification Technique can produce both oil-like water and normal water? We've seen Water Release manipulate viscosity and density before, but if the Mizukage's technique's description just uses the term "oil," is it saying that he can change water's properties into those of oil, or that he's creating a completely different substance known as oily water? Is it identical to oil, or is it water thta has the properties of oil? Thanks!--GoDai (talk) 22:47, September 29, 2011 (UTC)
