The Truth-Seeking Balls not being listed as Senjutsu. I know you will tell me that "the databook did not say so" but here is my issue with that statement: The databook also did not list Mū as a user of Water Release either. But we added Water Release to him anyway regardless of the databook because of the Dustless Bewildering Cover, which was said in the manga to manipulate water. Well, the Truth-Seeking Balls were said to be made of natural energy, so what would be the issue with adding them as senjutsu and overruling the databook with the manga like we did with Mū? -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 18:55, February 2, 2015 (UTC)

:::Seelentau, according to Naruto in chapter 643, two sources of natural energy colliding was what was able to damage/alter Obito and his attacks. That statement Naruto made was shown by Gamakichi's attack altering the Truth-Seeking Balls, and Naruto's Sage-enhanced Rasengan damaging Obito as the TT jinchūriki. We know that Naruto's Rasengan had natural energy from senjutsu chakra, and the TT's was stated to be identical to natural energy, damaging Obito. In Gamakichi's case, his attack had natural energy to collide with the natural energy of the TSB to be able to damage/alter them, in order to prove Naruto's statement correct. -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 19:22, February 2, 2015 (UTC)
  +
::::I understand, but I was not saying that, I was referring to Naruto's statement on how two sources of natural energy colliding is what caused the TSB to be damaged in the first place. Gamakichi's attack had natural energy, so... how about the TSB to confirm Naruto's statement? -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 19:31, February 2, 2015 (UTC)
  +
:::::Yes, it was translated, that is why we removed Senjutsu as a classification for the TSB, because the databook did not list it there (but then again, what techniques were listed as senjutsu? Not even Jugo's techniques were either). And also, does the TSB article on this wikia state that they are made of the "Six Paths Sage chakra?" That chakra does not qualify as senjutsu chakra either?

Generally, if you're doing a page move on an article, it's not necessary to suppress the redirect. If you do decide to suppress a redirect though, please make sure to correct links so that the wiki's articles still point to the intended target. So Gaara isn't listed as kekkei genkai user even though he was a jinchuuriki of Shukaku with Jinton. Roshi is listed as a kekkei genkai user, but he had Yoton on his own even without Son Goku, is that correct? What about the other jinchuuriki, like Han? Well, what I'm getting at is the thing about Naruto being listed as kekkei genkai user, which is assumed to be because of the TBs advanced natures, but Gaara isn't, so may it be possible that Naruto's kekkei genkai has nothing to do with the Tailed Beasts?--Elve Mod <small>Talk Page|Contribs</small> 22:34, February 4, 2015 (UTC)

For minor issues such as this, please to use a talk page or the requests page. A minor issue such as that does not really warrant an entire discussion thread, you know what I mean? What is the exact translation? We currently have it as "Sound Four: Summoning Technique: Four Corner Beast Formation". Kanji and romaji seem to be correct going by Japanese Wikipedia (though they dropped the group's name from the technique's name). 音隠れ四人衆・口寄せ・四獣包囲の陣, Otogakure Yoninshū: Kuchiyose: Shijū Hōi no Jin. First two parts are easy, "Sound Four: Summoning: Four Beasts ??? Formation", but the other part has more translation options. Also, should the Four Beasts part be translated as that? It has two possible meanings, and both apply: Four different summons ("beasts"), and the Sound Four's standing in each direction being a reference to 四神. Maybe even 四神獣? And I have no idea what would be the best translation for 包囲. Just bored, so wanted to explain it to you. In order to "catch" the natural lightning, Sasuke has to use lightning natured chakra, it wouldn't work with ordinary chakra because there's no way it could reach that high, he just links the natural lightning in the sky with a super-weak chidori in hand like a magnet of sorts, shapes it using shape transformation alone and then brings it down using the link. So all in all, chidori/lightning release is needed to tame it, tho the monster itself isn't created with lightning chakra, that's why it isn't called Lightning Release: Kirin and yet it is one 0_o more examples of the same things are: Fire Release: Mist Blaze Dance Technique and Fire Release: Ash Pile Burning mist blaze uses natural fire to ignite fire release chakra natured gas and with Asuma's technique, the gun-powder is also coated in fire release chakra and then ignited by natural means. Again, I was just bored so it's for nothing, sorry for spamming ur talkpage :)--Elveonora (talk) 11:23, April 19, 2013 (UTC)

So, kanji for some of the ultimates from the game started to appear. I would have waited around a bit longer to add and ask for translations, but some other users already started adding them, so I checked to see if they matched the ones where I could find them. The ones with kanji for now are:

Ok, thanks :)--Abdidouche (talk) 16:56, February 18, 2015 (UTC)
* Cat Fire Bowl. The very literal translation made this an easy one, but I'd like to put some trivia around the actual cat brazier in it, but I have no idea if it has a mythological or cultural significance to point out.

* Five-Mountain Jump. There was a wrong kanji in it, but I corrected it, and the translation is the same as far as I know, so no need to change anything I think.

* Freight Bubbles. I added the kanji for that one, because someone else had added the wrong ones, but I don't know if the game name is an accurate translation of the Japanese.

* Lightning Straight. I did my best to add the literal translation of the several kanji in it.

* Rough Sea Splash. I moved it from "Rough Sea Spume" when someone added the kanji.

* Scale Powder Blasting. We've had the kanji for that from day one basically, since they were readable in one of the earliest videos of the game.

* Scorching River Great Eruption. Another one I moved from the game name when someone added the wrong kanji. I put the kanji I found in more than one source.

* Sickle Mist Technique. The "Ninja Art" part was dropped, like in many articles. The only thing I'm not sure if it's "-kiri" or "-giri".

* Storm Release: Black Hunting. I added the kanji, put what I believe to be the proper pronunciation of the kanji in the trivia, and added literal English, which could use a more proper look.

* Sword of Kagutsuchi. Kanji were added when videos with good enough audio became available, they're correct.

* Tengai Shinsei. Actual kanji are finally available, and I think this will end up being left untranslated, kinda in keeping with some other Rinnegan techniques, particularly Deva Path ones, which this also seems to be.

* Mifune's ultimate is the only new ultimate we still don't have an article for, because we didn't even have the game name for it. The game name for it is "Resident Decapitation", and the only source I have on the Japanese says his ultimate is called 居斬. I'm certain that in this technique or in at least one of the above there's a pun or word-play I did not find or recognise.

I'm still going through sites and lists, and I was able to gather a significant portion of the techniques used in the Ultimate Ninja series, though the thread I made about it in the forums is not up to date with what I have, I'm trying to translate as much as I can before asking for help. Consequently, the following statement from Shisui's page "This genjutsu however, could only be used once a decade, unless the user had a way to augment the process such as with Hashirama Senju's cells, thereby drastically reducing the time required from ten years to only a few hours." would also be circumstantial conjecture at best and not pure manga facts.

Hi. 2- Shisui tried using Kotoamatsukami to prevent the coup d'etat.

At the time of his death, Shisui was about the same age as Itachi : around 17 years old... If you assume he did not awake his Mangekyō Sharingan before the age of 7 AND that he can only use Kotoamatsukami twice every decade (once for each eye) then you must conclude that the fight with Ao and the coup d'etat are the only two times Shisui used Kotoamatsukami!

Furthermore, we know the use of Sharigan by non-Uchiha such as Kakashi is very taxing on chakra, thus it is more than reasonable to assume that the use of Mangekyō Sharingan by a crow would be even more so, to the point that it would take a decade for it to "recharge".

What are your thoughts on this?...By the way, if I'm bothering you with my questions, don't worry about it, just tell me to shut up! ;-) Thanks --UchihaFan (talk) 18:37, April 29, 2013 (UTC)

Something that has been bothering me... Edit

Chapters 642-643, natural energy being the only thing able to damage and alter the natural energy of the TSB. -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 19:05, February 2, 2015 (UTC)
I'm sure there were more statements. I don't get this wiki sometimes, something gets added but without proper referencing, then someone runs with eye through the article removing all unreferenced statements, potentially removing critical information, without bothering to check the validity of the statements instead.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 19:08, February 2, 2015 (UTC)
Seelentau, according to Naruto in chapter 643, two sources of natural energy colliding was what was able to damage/alter Obito and his attacks.
I understand, but I was not saying that, I was referring to Naruto's statement on how two sources of natural energy colliding is what caused the TSB to be damaged in the first place. Gamakichi's attack had natural energy, so... how about the TSB to confirm Naruto's statement? -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 19:31, February 2, 2015 (UTC)
Yes, it was translated, that is why we removed Senjutsu as a classification for the TSB, because the databook did not list it there (but then again, what techniques were listed as senjutsu? Not even Jugo's techniques were either). And also, does the TSB article on this wikia state that they are made of the "Six Paths Sage chakra?" That chakra does not qualify as senjutsu chakra either?

Tailed Beast KKG and Jinchuuriki Edit

So Gaara isn't listed as kekkei genkai user even though he was a jinchuuriki of Shukaku with Jinton. Roshi is listed as a kekkei genkai user, but he had Yoton on his own even without Son Goku, is that correct? What about the other jinchuuriki, like Han? Well, what I'm getting at is the thing about Naruto being listed as kekkei genkai user, which is assumed to be because of the TBs advanced natures, but Gaara isn't, so may it be possible that Naruto's kekkei genkai has nothing to do with the Tailed Beasts?--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 22:34, February 4, 2015 (UTC)

Well, I'm asking because while I was checking over at narutoforums, I saw some of the discussion you and others have and the wording about Roshi made it seem to me that he had had Yoton Kekkei Genkai even excluding Son Goku or so. You were once saying the same thing I believe.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 22:44, February 4, 2015 (UTC)

Thread:162053 Edit

For minor issues such as this, please to use a talk page or the requests page. A minor issue such as that does not really warrant an entire discussion thread, you know what I mean? I know the board is named "Wiki Discussions and Support Board," but that is for wiki-wide issues rather than issues that can be solved by one minor edit. Many thanks. -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 23:38, February 4, 2015 (UTC)

Can you weigh into this discussion?. Thanks. --Sajuuk [Moderator] talk | contribs | Channel 18:09, February 5, 2015 (UTC)

reading request Edit

When you have the chance, could you type out the arc names listed here for me? I'd do it myself, but it would take me literally hours to look up all the kanji. You don't need to translate anything if you don't want to, just the Japanese would be great. ~SnapperTo 19:54, February 5, 2015 (UTC)

volume 72 tankobon Edit

Got links? :P Would like to see the changes.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 20:54, February 6, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks bro.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 20:56, February 6, 2015 (UTC)
What the hell, two of the links require premium membership and the third which "doesn't" says that 'CAUTION! From your IP range the limit of connections is reached" even though I haven't downloaded anything yet. Could you upload the pages in particular which were changed? Interested in the redrawn Obito's death scene from volume 71, frontal Susanoo view from 72 among the two additional pages for 699, ty.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 21:16, February 6, 2015 (UTC)
Thanks a lot. If you find the reworked Obito's death scene let me know.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 21:31, February 6, 2015 (UTC)
"In volume 71, the scene where Obito is impaled by Kaguya's technique was completely redrawn from its initial release. In addition, some character reaction shots were also redrawn, as well as Kakashi's brief flashback being removed altogether."--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 21:46, February 6, 2015 (UTC)

"Kisses" strange changes by the way.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 21:58, February 6, 2015 (UTC)

The additions make sense (should have been there in the first place) but the alternations are mostly just different angles. I think the Susanoo looked better from a side rather than front. And besides improved reactions from Sasuke and Kaguya, to me the Obito one seems redundant to have been redrawn from a different perspective since it also was fine, but shrugs, I ain't an artist.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 22:04, February 6, 2015 (UTC)

your behavior Edit

Just saw the stuff from chat and I must 0_0 Just wondering, did you take any drugs or drink alcohol at the time?--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 09:04, February 7, 2015 (UTC)

Was also in the chat when that happened. Things got testy, I must say. Though Seelentau was not the only one throwing insults, so it's not all him. But I'm sure he'll notice Dantman's message. -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 09:16, February 7, 2015 (UTC)
So am I, but that was downright insulting. But oh well, it's your thing. I just prefer people with a single face.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 15:53, February 7, 2015 (UTC)

Re: Shikamaru Hiden Edit

Yo senpai, I got it from ANN. I consider it as a reliable source for information. —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 15:37, February 8, 2015 (UTC)

Cross Lariat Edit

Could you add the kanji/rōmaji/kana? I suck with these Kumo jutsu that have Engrish names. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:48, February 8, 2015 (UTC)

Translation request Edit

Hi senpai, just translate to me the titles of upcoming episodes to me. The first one is 極めし者 and the second is 逃走VS追跡 ... Thanks :) —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 13:43, February 12, 2015 (UTC)

Thanks senpai for clarification, you're right. They're not characters names. ^_^ —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 14:19, February 12, 2015 (UTC)

Naruto's Six Paths Sage Mode Edit

Databook entry. Any way to give that another look? I don't wish to read through GodlyHades's examples again in our forum again, I've read through them on the Narutofan forum he linked the first time which basically stated "Yes the tailed beasts are part of it". Thank you.--TheUltimate3 Eye of Rikudō (talk) 14:45, February 12, 2015 (UTC)

I can understand that. But I'd rather get it done and done instead of the back and forth. I probably should have been made clear, I'm aware mention of the tailed beasts wasn't in the section itself, but rather on the side; like a caption or something. In the forum post there was a disagreement because some states it was to blurry to read and others state that it wasn't and it stated "something something Sage and biju".--TheUltimate3 Eye of Rikudō (talk) 16:44, February 12, 2015 (UTC)
Which part? The text too blurry to see or the "blah blah Sage biju"? >_> <_< --TheUltimate3 Eye of Rikudō (talk) 18:40, February 12, 2015 (UTC)
Got it. So remove the tailed beasts reference in the Sage Mode article then?--TheUltimate3 Eye of Rikudō (talk) 18:46, February 12, 2015 (UTC)

Could you translate this? Edit

Re: Your translations Edit

Yeah, sure, as long as I'm credited. "Suzaku" without the "FF" is fine. FF-Suzaku (talk) 06:21, February 14, 2015 (UTC)

Izanagi and YYR Edit

Sorry for giving you another translation request, but does Jin no Sho explicitly call Izanagi Yin-Yang Release on this page? -- WindStar7125 (talk | contribs) 19:37, February 14, 2015 (UTC)

re: Tobirama's death Edit

Tobirama died the same day Hiruzen had become the Sandaime. I don't think Saru was Team Sannin sensei yet at that point.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 18:15, February 16, 2015 (UTC)

Yes, the Sannin fought in the 2nd. They were but little children during the 1st.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 18:27, February 16, 2015 (UTC)
Considering they were overwhelmed from all sides and Tobirama despite being one of the strongest saw no chance of winning means that it was no small battle. The circumstances of it sound like world war. Maybe the early guidebooks specify in more detail.--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 18:31, February 16, 2015 (UTC)

can it be deduced that Edit

Moegi and Udon are grandchildren of Koharu and Homura respectively?--Elve [Moderator] Talk Page|Contribs 19:56, February 16, 2015 (UTC)

Rabbit Hair Needle Edit

Does this jutsu's entry in the databook make any mention of using the hair to bind the target, or is it just the launching of hair? Current article says it does, but I think that the binding part is actually Hair Binding Technique. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 15:19, February 18, 2015 (UTC)

Help in translation Edit

Hello , can You please give me a translation about what's written in Temari's page of Retsu no sho databook , here is the link http://goo.gl/pjuAou , thank You so much --Abdidouche (talk) 15:40, February 18, 2015 (UTC)

Naruto and COAT Edit

Hi. According to this edit, Jin no Sho states that Naruto can indeed use COAT, displayed through him healing Kakashi's eye. I read FF-Suzaku's translation, and I'm stuck in the middle. It kind of implies it, but doesn't overtly state it either. Do you think it is valid for this wiki to state that Naruto can indeed use COAT, or just an application of Yin-Yang Release? Bump. WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 17:42, February 21, 2015 (UTC)
Also asked FF-Suzaku about this, just letting you know. So Naruto using COAT is indeed invalid and he should be removed as a user? WS7125[Mod]WindStar7125 TaskWindStar7125's Task 18:01, February 21, 2015 (UTC)
