Outer Path Discussions

When you get the chance, could you give your input in these two discussions relating to the Outer Path?:

Thanks in advance. =) Skitts (talk) 17:15, May 30, 2012 (UTC)

When you get your hands in a raw, could you translate what Madara says in the bottom right panel, right after being hit by the Dust Release? Mangastream and Mangareader translations are wildly different. If reader is right, there's a potential weakness of Susanoo to be listed, being inside it makes the user slower. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:44, May 30, 2012 (UTC)

For the same reason, i.e. conflictions in the translations, could you also please translate what both Mei and Ōnoki say as Madara is being sealed here? Blackstar1 (talk) 17:05, June 2, 2012 (UTC)
I think you're putting way too much confidence in my translation skills. I am honoured by that, but I doubt my translations are going to be as good as Suki-senpai's. Nevertheless, I'll give it a try today and tomorrow. Seelentau 愛 19:45, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

Madara: 「スサノオを出していた分塵遁の吸収が間に合わなかっただ···」 "Susanoo o dashiteita Bun Jinton no Kyūshū ga maniowa nakatta da...".

I think it's something like "The parts that put out Susanoo couldn't use the Jinton absorption in time...". I think he meant Bunshin, but there's a Kanji missing. At least that's what it looks like to me.

Mei: 「砂 がイヤなら術の吸収を止めればいいのよ ま···そしたら雷水龍弾でしびれちゃって動けないけど」 "Suna ga iya nara Jutsu no Kyūshū o tomereba iinoyo. Ma...soshitara Raisuiryūdan de shibirechatte ugokenai kedo"

Should be something like "It's okay if the sand isn't enough to stop the Jutsu absorption. But his movements will be numbed by the Lightning Water Dragon Bullet then"

Ōnoki: 「そのスキにワシが塵遁をかます! そうならば封印する時間は充分じゃぜ」 "Sono suki ni washi ga Jinton o kamasu! Sō naraba fūinsuru Jikan wa jūbun jaze"

Should be something like "I will force Jinton in that gap! If that's the case there's enough time to seal him"

There we go. As I said, don't take them for perfect, they're just my own translations. They're as nonvalid as everyone elses. Seelentau 愛 16:10, June 3, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks Seelentau, your help is much appreciated and it clarified/resolved exactly what I was after. Blackstar1 (talk) 16:31, June 3, 2012 (UTC)

Does anyone know if SSS (3x "s" Omni - ShounenSukiSensei of course) plan on coming back ? : ( --Elveonora (talk) 17:17, June 3, 2012 (UTC)

I don't know about the others, but since I don't have any way to contact Suki-sensei, I don't know about his status. Seelentau 愛 18:02, June 3, 2012 (UTC)

Would you mind writing out and translating Itachi's genjutsu command to Kabuto? 64.134.191.42 (talk) 03:17, June 14, 2012 (UTC)

What exactly do you mean? The hand signs? They're correct in mangapanda's version. It seems like Kabuto was lying to Tobi about them. Seelentau 愛 05:05, June 14, 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, I meant this one: [1]. 76.173.61.174 (talk) 00:23, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

Hello Seelentau, does "Tokoyomi" (常世見) mean "looking into eternity" or "looking into the land of the dead"? -White Flash-(Talk)- 02:47, July 4, 2012 (UTC)

Forbidden Words Kanji

I copy/pasted the Kanji for the latest episode from Wikipedia, but I think it's wrong. Can you confirm? --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | My Wiki | Channel 10:54, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

Ya, when I saw the episode, I saw the NG in the subtitles. Thanks! :) --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | My Wiki | Channel 18:07, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

Little Finger/Toe Absolute Attack

Could you please take a look at this discussion? Given where Guy actually attacks, it seems more appropriate to name the technique "Little Toe Absolute Attack", as long as the Japanese allows for that of course. Blackstar1 (talk) 00:06, July 9, 2012 (UTC)

Binding Genjutsu

Could you please give your opinion on this translation: Binding Genjutsu (金縛りの幻術, kanashibari no genjutsu)? It's a term Orochimaru uses to describe Itachi's Demonic Illusion: Shackling Stakes Technique. Blackstar1 (talk) 22:45, July 10, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks once again, I actually asked because tangorin had it as either binding or temporary paralysis, so it was fortunate that I asked you because I had no idea there was already such a similarly named technique. Blackstar1 (talk) 23:09, July 10, 2012 (UTC)

Gaara's name

Hey there Seelentau, can Gaara's name translate into "I only love myself. I'm a demon."? "Ga 我" (meaning I or me), "A 愛" (more commonly "Ai" meaning love), and "Ra 羅" (meaning a demon). -White Flash-(Talk)- 03:03, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks :) -White Flash-(Talk)- 11:03, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

Chapter 596

So, I recently added the kanji and rōmaji to this chapter, and moved from "jutsu" to "technique". Considering that the main point of this chapter was Kakashi's determination that Tobi's warping and intangibility are the same technique, would it be more accurate to translate this chapter's title as "A Single Technique", as in "he uses a single technique"? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:06, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

UNS3 character videos

A few videos were released, showing footage of new characters in action. Hanzō and Mifune's techniques can be seen. I think I managed to get Hanzō's, which appears to be "Exploding Circle" (爆円陣, Bakuenjin), but I can't crack down Mifune's. I already created an article on Hanzō's technique, but could you confirm it and see if you can get Mifune's? Thanks.—This unsigned comment was made by Omnibender (talkcontribs) on 03:04, August 15, 2012 (UTC).

Translation Please

Hello Seelentau, could you give me the literal translation of 饿乐廻廊 please? It's a technique from a manga i like that's databook recently came out, and no one has been able to properly translate it yet so i figured i'd come to you seeing as to how you are one of the main translators here. Thank you.71.71.58.70 (talk) 07:01, September 12, 2012 (UTC) yomiko-chan

Sorry, I don't speak Chinese, so I'm not able to translate 饿乐. 廻廊, however, means kairō, which is this. Seelentau 愛 14:15, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

I'm sorry i didn't know that it was chinese, which is weird considering that it's a japanese manga. Thank you for trying though.71.71.58.70 (talk) 15:24, September 12, 2012 (UTC) yomiko-chan

Where did you get that name from? Seelentau 愛 15:30, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

From a raw scan of a page from the book on a site that releases newly trans/scanlated parts of the book.71.71.58.70 (talk) 16:41, September 12, 2012 (UTC) yomiko-chan

eh, could you please show me the frame/panel where the Kanji are shown? I'm sure you just made a mistake finding the correct Kanji, since they originate in the Chinese language and look similar often. Seelentau 愛 16:59, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

Uchihagaeshi

Now that we have the confirmed kanji/kana, would you mind giving your input on the translation of Uchihagaeshi (うちは返し)? While "Return of the Uchiha" seems acceptable, I feel something simpler like "Uchiha Reversal" (which has connotations to certain martial arts moves) would be more fitting, though input from someone with actual knowledge of Japanese would be much appreciated. Blackstar1 (talk) 17:01, September 14, 2012 (UTC)

Neve rmind, I found that "返し" is also used in Earth Release: Earth Shore Return (土遁・土陸返し, Doton: Doroku Gaeshi), so in order to remain consistent to that format, the technique should be named "Uchiha Return". Blackstar1 (talk) 17:27, September 14, 2012 (UTC)
I was about to answer, but the article got moved around I got confused by it. Would've chosen something like retribution, but nevermind. Seelentau 愛 17:30, September 14, 2012 (UTC)

Jinchuriki Six Paths

When they're first shown with Sharingan and Rinnegan, what exactly does Obito say regarding them having the eyes? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:01, October 5, 2012 (UTC)

Last pages of chapter 544. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:43, October 11, 2012 (UTC)
About a week ago, on the 4th this month, someone changed that the eyes had been implanted into the hosts, using this as an edit summary: "bad trans, implantation was never mentioned, also, it's impossible to change ET physical state". I don't recall if the splash text appears in the volume version, but is there any mention of implantation in what Obito says? Is his word actually "customised" or something for that effect? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:22, October 12, 2012 (UTC)

Black Hunting

In Darui's gameplay promo at 0:55, he performs Storm Release: Black Hunting. Unfortunately, this video doesn't have the subtitles, like the English demo did, so we don't have kanji on it, but the sound is clear enough to get his pronunciation. Can you get the rōmaji? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:22, October 17, 2012 (UTC)

Kanji are probably involved, but since the only videos with subtitles available so far are in English, no kanji. We'll probably get them soon or later. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:25, October 17, 2012 (UTC)

A Translation please

Hello Sempai...i was wondering if you could translate a part of chapter 606 in page 15, the part where Madara talks about his chakra rods and how Obito should use it for the "Rikudo no Jutsu"...was he talking to the Six Paths of Pain or something else? Thank you in advance. Darksusanoo (talk) 18:30, October 17, 2012 (UTC)

Ameyuri

In this week's episode, subs used male pronouns to refer to Ameyuri. Could you check the episode to see if the Japanese actually meant Ameyuri to be a male or if all that was used was gender-neutral pronouns? I think we might have a Kurama case again. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 03:44, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Problem with articles

I have no idea of what's happening. Usual trick is cleaning the cache. Does this happen to you in other wikis, or other browsers. If it's something specific to your account, I'd suspect of a custom js script, but I have no idea if you have any. Your best shot as far as I can see is to contact Wikia and report a bug. Monga's technique

Could you give the name to his technique (latest episode, 7:55)--LeafShinobi (talk) 21:33, October 25, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks.--LeafShinobi (talk) 22:14, October 25, 2012 (UTC)
Considering the spears are thin and long, is there any change the the "dake" in the name is he kanji for bamboo instead? Japanese Wikipedia added it as 土遁・土石筍. Could also be 土遁・土石竹. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:32, October 25, 2012 (UTC)
Yup, but I thought they wouldn't choose that name... well then, it's 土遁・土石筍, of course ^^ Seelentau 愛 05:07, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
What would be the translation then? Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot? Earth Release: Earth Stalagmite? I see that 石筍 is the word for stalagmite, but the pronunciation in the technique isn't "sekijun". That's something that'll probably be added to a trivia section though. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:09, October 26, 2012 (UTC)
Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot and a Trivia which explains the pun would be the best. Seelentau 愛 14:15, October 28, 2012 (UTC)

Another translation please

Hello again, i'm very sorry to bother you, and i'm hoping to god that this is not chinese, but can you give me the romanization and translation of this ウルざくろ. Again i hope to god this isn't chinese (it so hard for me to tell), but i found some raw scans and i have no idea how a japanese manga could have chinese raw scans. Anyway thank you for your time.98.26.246.74 (talk) 02:38, October 31, 2012 (UTC) yomiko-chan

ウルざくろ Uru Zakuro. It seems to be a name of a character or so, because Uru has no meaning, while ざくろ could refer to the Pomegranate. Seelentau 愛 18:48, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

Thank you very much. Um kinda last minute but there was another word-ish that i went to several sources and they all gave me diferent answers, and considering that your a notable translator i wonder if you could straighten this out. The word is 模倣, at first i got Mōzō and later it was called Utsutsu, and the transalation they gave me was imitation/mimicry/copy, what do you get for it? Again this the last time, and i really don't mean to bother you.98.26.246.74 (talk) 19:04, November 1, 2012 (UTC) yomiko-chan

No problem at all. 模倣 is read as mohō and means imitation or copying. Seelentau 愛 19:08, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

Thank you so much.98.26.246.74 (talk) 19:15, November 1, 2012 (UTC) yomiko-chan

I swear to God last time, since i can't find any other translators as good as you. I finally found the last of the raws, the first one is 餓樂廻廊 (the romanji that i got was and create me if i'm wrong, Kamawariro and have no idea what it means). The other was 融合 which i think is Yūgō and the translations of it i got were fusion/merge and another one said it meant polymerization. The last was 生体融合, which i got was Seitai yūgō, and translations of it i found were Living body fusion/ Biological fusion. I really am sorry to keep bothering you, but i was suppossed to get these back to someone.98.26.246.74 (talk) 19:01, November 4, 2012 (UTC) yomiko-chan

  • 餓樂廻廊 Garaku Kairō or Gakaku Kairō or Gagō Kairō literally means Starve Music Corridor
  • 生体 Seitai means organism
  • 融合 Yūgō means agglutination or fusion, as you said

Seelentau 愛 20:06, November 4, 2012 (UTC)

Thank you very much.98.26.246.74 (talk) 20:12, November 4, 2012 (UTC) yomiko-chan

Some video game translations

My making a couple educated lookups, I managed finding a few stuff on a video game. I recently added the kanji for Jibakugan, though I have no idea of how to give a literal translation to that. Here in the game's official page, there are the names of most of the antagonists, which we currently don't have as kanji, as well as their name. I'm not sure, but it seems they're supposed to be some sort of non-Konoha leaf ANBU? And here, the site is in Chinese, but it has two screenshots with technique names in Japanese. We already have articles for both of those techniques. There's another technique from that game, which someone had added romaji, and based on that and the English name, I added kanji, the Forbidden Technique: Mud Golem. In looking up the other two techniques, could you see if you managed finding if those kanji I added are actually correct? Many thanks. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:11, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

We already have pages for the characters, they're supposed to be: Tsukino (not the name on the page, since that would be a spoiler for the game, I think), Hakui, Dōshin, and Shinga. Other than Tsukino, none of their names we have match the page. We have the wrong kanji for Hakui, and Dōshin and Shinga are like ドシン and シンガ. Just from glancing, I think the first kanji in Hakui's name is the same one used for Haku's name. Shinga's name appears to be written as "True Fang". The kanji for Jibakugan I managed finding, which can be seen on that page, is 自縛眼, though I have no idea how to literally translated 自縛 as something that would give a proper literal English name. Looking up those together, each of them inside quotes in Google should give some article where they're mentioned. The technique I mentioned I added kanji based on the romaji is 禁術・泥人形 Kinjutsu: Doro Ningyō. In the site with the images, we have articles on the fire rat technique and in the sealing technique, but we don't have kanji or romanji, just game English. Episodes 286-287 translations

Hi Seelentau and how are you? I want to know the literal translations of Nigai's technique (雷鼠激震) and Karai's technique (雷撃) and finally the literal meaning of Nokizaru Troops (軒猿衆). Many thanks ^_^ —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 19:09, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

That was so perfect, and BTW it's called Karai not Kirai. Thanks so much for your co-operation ^_^ —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 20:17, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
Sorry for the disturbance, But I want to know the literal meaning of Nokizaru Troops' boss name (Himushi, ヒムシ) —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 20:26, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

Would it be better to have Raigeki as "Lightning Strike"? It's a more accurate English term which means the same thing, and we already have a technique with Raigeki in it, Raiga's Lightning Strike Armour (Raigeki no Yoroi). Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 01:36, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

mh, use whatever you deem to be more accurate. Seelentau 愛 08:06, November 2, 2012 (UTC)

288 Kenjutsu

So, kanji and rōmaji have already been added, probably from the Japanese Wikipedia article, but are the translations accurate? My looking up gives Kushimaru's as "Longsword Ninja Art: Earth Spider Sewing", and I'm not quite sure of what Jinpachi's is supposed to be. I can only translate "Blastsword Technique", but I can make sense of the rest. I only get explosion, but the last three kanji make it look weird. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:22, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

Maybe it has to do with the movement of the sheet of explosive tags? They sort of made a semi-circle. Maybe that's supposed to look/act like a bridle? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:46, November 8, 2012 (UTC)
Can you get the combo name Kakashi and Guy called them? Subs called it "Cold Blooded Combo" or something like that. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:30, November 8, 2012 (UTC)

Sinful Lotus

I managed to find a video which shows the kanji of the game-only Boil Release, it's in that technique's talk page, but the quality is not that great, though in both the videos I found, you can hear the name of the technique well enough. Could you take a look at it? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 15:58, November 10, 2012 (UTC)

When fighting her, she usually goes into her awakening when she mishears something Ao says. This technique is used usually the second time she enters in her awakened form. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 15:21, November 11, 2012 (UTC)

289 techniques

Could you check on the translations for that episode? I believe most of them to be correct as far as I can check with tangorin, but I can't help to feel that one of Omoi's new kenjutsu, the one without Cloud Style in it, is improperly translated, seeing that it doesn't quite follow the standard of kenjutsu naming. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:57, November 17, 2012 (UTC)

The "ura" part of it. It was previously translated as "reverse" in his canon kenjutsu. I'm also concerned about the fact the current translation is so similar to Kirigakure's translation. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:04, November 18, 2012 (UTC)
Huh, I never noticed there was another kanji, different from the one used in Kirigakure. I always thought that "kasumi" was another reading of that kanji. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:03, November 18, 2012 (UTC)

Outer Path chakra chains

So, I was looking at the Japanese Wikipedia article for jutsu, and I noticed that they have a specific name for the Outer Path chains. In chapter 569, right after Son pukes Naruto, there's a flashback panel in which Son uses the term 魔像の鎖, Demonic Statue Chains. In the same panel, Rinnegan and Outer Path are mentioned, and there's one kanji I'm not finding, which is exactly to the right of the 鎖. What exactly does Son say? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:13, November 23, 2012 (UTC)

Great, the sites I use to see raws don't have that particular page. Here is the panel. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:09, November 24, 2012 (UTC)
So "Demonic Statue Chains" it is. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:06, November 24, 2012 (UTC)

Episode 291

Hi Seelentau .. Just to know, could you give us the kanji names of "Ama no Hoko" and "Saezuri" that were claimed on this episode and also their meanings? The subtitles are kinda weird this time (For me at least). —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 16:12, November 29, 2012 (UTC)

Hmm, I think Ama no Hoko's translation makes sense for me, but for "Saezuri" it doesn't. According to today's episode, the evil power is sealed by seven sounds melody called "Saezuri" and Miina is the only one that could hear those tones. I don't like to run out the event but it's just a speculation ... Anyway, thanks for the info Seelentau-san ^_^ —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 19:55, November 29, 2012 (UTC)
Perhaps the upcoming episodes would cover more information about this two words and what exactly their meanings. —Shakhmoot Nadeshiko Village Symbol (Talk) 20:23, November 29, 2012 (UTC)

Chapter 21

Way in the beginning of the series, in chapter 21, Kakashi's quotes a previous Hokage. Page 18 if I'm not mistaken. Re: Wicked Gong Mouth

I've been going through our video game techniques and fixing the ones I could. Wicked Gong Mouth is a technique used by Manda, when Orochimaru summons it in Ultimate Ninja 4, the player briefly controls Manda. The only thing I could find on the name of this technique was a rōmaji, Jyadakkou. I got "邪*口", but I'm having trouble finding anything that fits that middle spot. Any ideas? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:59, January 2, 2013 (UTC)

Probably one of the with the meaning to escape. That's what it looks like Manda is doing. Kanji and romaji seem fine, but translation doesn't make sense to me in Fire Release: Exploding Flame Crater. What is that supposed to translate into? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:01, January 3, 2013 (UTC)

Several game translations

So, I took on a game translation crusade, in an effort to beef up our game jutsu content. What I managed to find for Ultimate Ninja 1 is here. There are some spots with question marks, stuff I'm not sure about. Could take a look at it, and check the other translations for errors? Also related to that, is there any particular way to tell when "zan" means "beheading" or "slash"? I tried to translate the game techniques based on how techniques we already have are translated, and most translate zan as beheading, but there are a few that translate it as slash. Yagura's technique. Coral ??? Rising (珊瑚?昇, Sango???shō) ? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:13, February 2, 2013 (UTC)
Thanks. Now, I found this video. Almost half hour of gameplay. There are a few techniques scattered through the video, most of them appearing more than once. The ones that show up are: Mifune's Absolute Inscription (his awakening technique), Yugito's awakening technique (while as Matatabi, she does a twirling lunge covering herself in flames, the technique has four kanji, two of which are 火 and 炎), you already gave me Yagura's Coral Ripples Rising, Han's kick (the one he did against Naruto when he was trying to get the chakra receiver from Rōshi, it has three kanji), Utakata's awakening (while as Saiken, the it's what currently have as Corrosive Gas), Fū's regular and awakening techniques, and her ultimate, someone else already made a page for the ultimate, and I was able to get the kanji. Still missing the jutsu and awakening jutsu though, regular appears to end in "kiri" (beaheading), awakening shares the first kanji with regular. The bad thing is that the video is from a rather bad angle, and most of it looks too bright/saturated, but it's still watchable. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:15, February 3, 2013 (UTC)
Many thanks once again. In the game, awakening is when the character goes into a more powerful state. For example, in UNGS, post-timeskip Naruto's awakening is the Four-Tails Form. Pre-timeskip Naruto's is the One-Tail Form. Sage Naruto's is the Six-Tails Form. Hidan's is his Jashin ritual. So on and so forth. In the jinchūriki's case in the video, their awakenings are their tailed beast forms. ?炎猫火 for example, is Yugito's jutsu in her awakened form. CD Dramas

Hey, Seelentau-san! :) Sorry for intruding on you. I know you must be pretty busy with being the wiki's translator and everything, but... I was wondering, do you have any experience with translating CD Dramas? Or do you know someone who I can ask? Someone really fluent in Japanese? CD Dramas, after all, are basically just sound and dialogue. If you know someone, please tell me.--NinjaSheik 20:54, February 3, 2013 (UTC)

I see... Well, thanks, anyway! :) I'll just have to keep searching.--NinjaSheik 21:05, February 3, 2013 (UTC)

Kabuto sensor

Hello, does he say sensory, perceptive or something else? VIZ says sensory, would like to know the meanings of kanji used. Hopefully it's in Japanese ._. click

It's cool man, take your time. It's not for me, but this wiki and Naruto community in general :) --Elveonora (talk) 23:50, February 4, 2013 (UTC)

Jōki Bōi name

Hey i cae across this post a day or so ago, ad this guy was taking about Jōki Bōi's name. I don't know if it's correct or not, but i thought i ought see what you think of it. He said that "The Japanese title for the corresponding chapter is 「蒸危暴威」 (jou・ki bou・i). The term 「蒸危」 (jou・ki), which literally means "vapour crisis", is a word play on the term 「蒸気」 (jou・ki), which means "vapour". Kishi probably changed the kanji for "ki" to reflect the meaning of "crisis" since there is no such term as "vapour crisis" in Japanese. Meanwhile, 「暴威」 (bou・i) literally means "tyranny"." Do you think we should mention in the Trivia section of it's page, tha Kishi used the meaning of it's name as a pun for the reference to Steam Boy?71.71.58.231 (talk) 19:54, February 7, 2013 (UTC) Yomiko-chan

It should already be explained on the Jutsu page. Seelentau 愛 23:30, February 7, 2013 (UTC)

timeline question

So the German one is still being updated while in here (English) it was out of date thus you deleted it? Also not to hurry you or anything, just a reminder about the Kabuto sensory stuff ^_--Elveonora (talk) 23:21, February 12, 2013 (UTC)

Wow, thanks. It doesn't have to be 100% complete and accurate, just need to know if it says "perceptive" or "sensory" as a sensor, thanks a lot. Also looking at it, there appears to be some things missing in your timeline that are present in Suki's but also it has additional stuff, nice work ^_ I'm using google translator of course lol since I don't know German--Elveonora (talk) 23:36, February 12, 2013 (UTC)

Thanks a lots, so do you think either Oro or Kabuto might be sensors? A few things I noticed:

  • From where did you get Fukasaku's age? Narutopedia has nothing specified.
  • Do you think Kiri being called "Bloody Mist" before Obito took control of Mizukage is an error?
  • Orochimaru must have left the village later, Kabuto doesn't look 10 when they "meet again"
  • There's also the other errors from chapter 599 missing on your timeline (also the aforementioned Hashi one)
  • About differences between yours and Suki's for example Madara and Hashi battling for the first time 80 years ago etc.

That's all for the time being, I'd really like to help you with your project directly, too bad language barrier doesn't allow me ._.--Elveonora (talk) 00:29, February 13, 2013 (UTC)

  • I see, because VIZ made it sound like Sage Mode only enhanced his sensory ability, meaning he was one before he learned it.
  • lol, so he is at least 800 years old I see.
  • cool, that would mean child Yagura was evil, because I remember it being stated to be called such during his reign, it was when Obito pierced those ninja with wood no jutsu, one of them says something akin to: "don't mess with bloody mist" or such, unless that was a mistranslation.
  • Well, he says "more than 10 years ago" let's say when Naruto was 3, but as of my calculations, it was 8 years before Part I. Kabuto was like 9-10 when Danzo recruited him and he spied for years and looked easily 14-15 during the lake sequence.
  • Hayate and others
  • Tobi narrates "80 years ago" when revealing truth about Itachi to Sasuke

EDIT: I noticed an overlook from Kishi, Hiruzen looks younger when "stopping" Orochimaru than he did during Nine-Tail's attack, the former happened afterwards--Elveonora (talk) 12:30, February 13, 2013 (UTC)

  • I see, I guess we will come back to it again once it's being animated.
  •  :/
  • Kiri was known as Bloody Mist under Yagura's reign, that's confirmed, but he appears to be a good guy in Naruto's head when they talk with TB and would have been too young for a Kage at the time ._. And 2nd Mizukage appears to be a funny guy, so there goes a conspiracy that the man who controlled him wasn't Obito ;D
  • Kabuto was like 6 when they thought him to be "too young to read a clock" what turned out to be a bad sight, intelligent first-graders should know how to read them, and he did. 3 years later (9y old), Danzo recruited him. He obviously graduated from Konoha Academy indeed in a year (his number and such aren't faked) at 10.

He then spied for 4 different villages, and each time he wears a different forehead protector, he looks noticeably older and his hair grows longer. Each scene is undoubtedly +1 year at least, so during the lake scene, he should be no less than 14, and since there's 7 years and 7 months difference between him and Naruto, Oro must have left Konoha circa 6-7 years before Part I. The only possibilities are that he wasn't there at Danzo's order at all (he didn't wear Konoha Ninja clothing already) or he still worked for Danzo in secret after being caught by Hiruzen. And no, I doubt they met when he wore an enemy village's forehead protector before he got his Konoha one at 10.

  • I see.
  • Tobi was narrating story of himself "I, Uchiha Madara" and of Hashirama Senju, 80 years prior to Part II. they first clashed.
  • Yeah, except when someone looks younger years later ._.

--Elveonora (talk) 16:31, February 13, 2013 (UTC)

  • Possibly, or Kishi screwed up.
  • Cool, thanks.
  • I'm not talking about Senju and Uchiha in general, but Hashirama and Madara. Their first encounter occurred 80 years ago, he is talking about "his" history.
  • Yeah, his drawings improved in quality noticeably. That must be it ^_ He likely realized that a 60y dude should have some extra wrinkles and such.--Elveonora (talk) 17:17, February 13, 2013 (UTC)

Recent scan

The recent scan revealed the name of Tobi's jutsu according to friend that translated the scan. But is that the full name of the jutsu? --OmegaRasengan (talk) 05:22, February 20, 2013 (UTC)

Sage Art Wood Release

Not sure about it, but is there a pun in the technique's name considering this and this regarding the number of hands? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:20, February 22, 2013 (UTC)
