Re: Anko

What you're doing can be considered vandalism and can lead up to you being banned so please stop. Trivia here has to be something noteworthy that isn't long enough or just doesn't quite fit into the article. Anko leaving a dango shop does not fall into this category.--Cerez365 (talk) 19:30, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Anko edit

Because as far as databook profiles are concerned, I don't see visiting dango shops listed under hobbies in User:ShounenSuki/Character Particulars, which I usually use to check "it was in the databook" edits. The one time I got something wrong from his translations was a birthday, because of a typo. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:14, January 8, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Maki edit

The thing you think it might be a piercing is consistent with a reflection, like lip gloss. I only reverted the second time you added it, someone else reverted it before, leaving the explanation why, I just assumed you'd see the explanation when checking the page history. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:43, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

I see this mistake, but I am also refering to the others you have been undoing, such as my trivia edits.

The Anko ones was because being in dango shop is hardly surprising, considering databooks say Anko likes them. It's unnecessary. The appearances of Shikamaru and Choji in DBZ is kinda unnecessary, we hardly ever put things relating to other works. Stuff in Sakura and Tsunade was too minor to matter, and in Miroku, similarities with much more relevant characters were discarded before. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:51, January 14, 2011 (UTC)

Hence why I said "hardly ever". I'm not sure why that reference is there either. I've seen it being removed and readded, so since the community is a bit polarized about that, I stay clear of that particular bit. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:07, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

When I revert an edit that isn't vandalism and don't give a reason, it's very likely that this same revert was done very recently, not necessarily by me, and that this previous revert had the reason in the edit summary. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:29, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

Haruna image

It doesn't have a license and a fair-use rationale, that's why it's being removed. You can read about those at the image policy page. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:33, February 15, 2011 (UTC)

Cerez already added this for the Haruna image, but for all images you upload, you have to add the proper license and rationale:

Click on the image to go to the images file page, then place one of the following into the file page.

If its from the anime, use:

{{Fair use rationale
| Description = Single frame snapshot of [[]].
| Source = Naruto Episode
| Portion = Single frame from the Naruto Anime series.
| Purpose = For the illustration of the character [[]].
| Resolution = Low/High
| Replaceability = Only by a similar snapshot with the same license status.
| Other Information =

For pictures from the manga, use:

{{Fair use rationale
| Description = Single frame snapshot of [[]].
| Source = The Naruto manga, chapter ___, page ___.
| Portion = A single panel from the manga Naruto.
| Purpose = For the illustration of the character [[]]
| Resolution = Low/High
| Replaceability = Only by a similar snapshot with the same license status.
| Other Information = Character design by Masashi Kishimoto.

You should also fill in the tags with the relevant information and you need to add a license. For manga images use comic, and for anime use tv-screenshot. ~ Fmakck©TalkContributions ~ 00:52, February 16, 2011 (UTC)

When you upload an image here you have to put tags (fair use rationales and license) on them or else they breach the image policy. --Cerez☺ (talk) 22:22, March 6, 2011 (UTC)

Image policy

Remember it. You're uploading poor quality images, watermarked images, and scanlated images with English text on them, none of which is permited here. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 14:05, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

Shino image

You've already been told that your image needs a fair use and licensing tag like this one does. Please stop adding the Shino image, this one has neither. If you need help please feel free to ask someone.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 02:13, May 12, 2011 (UTC)

Uhm, from the image link I gave you you can click "edit" on the summary section and then copy that, you'll have to change the wording to suit the image you're using and do the same with the license bit. You still need to sign your posts though.--Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 02:47, May 12, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Info box

So once your image has a fair use rationale and licensing you are ready to place your image in an infobox!

  • Step 1: go to the page you want to add the image to
  • Step 2" click on either "edit" where the infobox is or "edit with form" etc... it'll vary between the infobox types (eg a tool page vs a character page)
  • Step 3: place the image in the infobox but you'll have to remove the "File:" and the so you'd just have the files name e.g. "naruto.png"
  • Step 4: Click "publish"
  • Step 5: Profit!

Also, please remember to sign your posts with four tildes like → (~~~~) To get→ --Cerez365 Hyūga Symbol 14:21, May 14, 2011 (UTC)

Image deletion: Yashamaru naruto 761.jpg

RyunnKazan, the image Yashamaru naruto 761.jpg which you uploaded has been deleted. We suggest you look over our image policy before you upload another image to make sure you aren't breaking any part of the policy. ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 11:35, June 5, 2011 (UTC)

Yes yes I know all about the tagging. I meant to do so but my computer went sick on me.—This unsigned comment was made by RyunnKazan (talkcontribs) .

Gif images

I see you've been told to read the image policy more than once. We don't use gif images. As such, the image you just uploaded will be deleted. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:00, June 19, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Kin's last moments

I think I understand what you're trying to do pretty well. However, two things:

  1. We don't really shrink images like that one. Maybe a full body image like the one in Tobi's article for example would have to be shrunk but otherwise images normally stay at 250px unless they distort a section.
  2. Secondly, there's only a sentence in that section which means there's not enough text to support the image so it goes down into other sections. There's also not enough text to warrant a break in the page because that would just leave a giant gap for one sentence. That's why it was removed.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 12:19, October 21, 2011 (UTC)
