Can you please stop deleting my edits?

Seriously, I'm trying to make the pages more accurate, but you and Deva 27 keep deleting them. I've reread the fights several times to see if what I was putting down is correct, so why keep deleting? --SuperSaiyaMan (talk) 18:40, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

It was cast by the Mangekyo Sharingan, and Danzo himself said it was Tsukuyomi earlier. And its still far less accurate than what you're trying to keep.--SuperSaiyaMan (talk) 18:51, September 26, 2010 (UTC)

We could just block Brazil... ~SnapperTo 23:14, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

Are we blocking Australia now? ~SnapperTo 23:25, September 28, 2010 (UTC)
Guess I forgot that. Though, looking at Dantman's block log, that expired in January and wasn't nearly as large as a a city. Plus, this particular spoilsport has occupied, at various times, a "range" of 2,147,483,648 addresses. Narrowing that down from two continents, I end up with 4,194,304 addresses. There's a third option that consists of 256 addresses, but whoever it is has (apparently) moved on from that particular range.
I am very disappointed with you. This conversation was supposed to go like this:
  • Me - "We could block Brazil."
  • You - "But I live in Brazil."
  • Me - "If you're trying to sell me on the idea, you're doing a good job of it."
Tsk tsk. ~SnapperTo 01:29, September 29, 2010 (UTC)
You're going to make me uncheck the "Block anonymous users only" option to get the response I want, aren't you? ~SnapperTo 02:41, September 29, 2010 (UTC)
You have crushed my soul.
At no point in this conversation have I intended to block anyone. ~SnapperTo 22:58, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

Madara and Six Paths

Madara only stated he was the second (Sage) of the Six Paths, and Nagato was the third, correct? So the 6 paths things was just a mistranslation? --GoDai (talk) 00:41, September 29, 2010 (UTC)

Left-over stuff from Naruto Shippūden 3: Inheritors of the Will of Fire

Few stuff left from that movie... First of all, we still don't have the pages for the Chimera beasts: Germinating Chimera Snake, Giant Chimera Dog, Fire Breathing Lion-Turtle, Exploding Tag-feathered Bird, and Combined Chimera (yeah I thought of the names on the spot). Secondly, I think we need a page called the Chimera Mark and say the Dark Release was absorbed into it or something. Thirdly, we may need minor pages for the four Kekkei Genkai users, although they are mentioned in the Trivia for Hiruko (missing-nin). We don't have a page on the location Mount Shumisen and I think an "event" article Solar Eclipse might be useful to an extent.

And a question: Was Storm Release revealed in the manga first as the bright-energy-beams thing? Or did the movie have it planned/revealed earlier as the dark-storm-clouds thing? This might tell us whether the movie-only elements will have manga counterparts. --GoDai (talk) 02:41, September 30, 2010 (UTC)

Kay I did. So you don't know about the Storm Release thing? --GoDai (talk) 00:12, October 1, 2010 (UTC)

Legal

Where can I find/get licensing and fair use rationale (The other wikis don't use this...-_-){{SUBST:User:Banan14kab/sig2}} 00:40, October 2, 2010 (UTC)

Hello

Hello, Omnibender I have a simple wiki question for you. Main reason I came to you, is you seem knowledgeable (brown nosing ftw). But in seriousness, do you know if there is a way for someone else to take control of an inactive wiki. A series I like already has a wiki, but the creator hasn't edited in a while. If you can help, I would appreciate and if you are totally unsure- any idea's on where I could find this info or maybe a solution?--I am the Fallen Death Sentence 00:31, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

Cool, tyvm for the information. Hopefully the original creator will respond, and at least give me ownership or even some kind of adminship--I am the Fallen Death Sentence 01:14, October 4, 2010 (UTC)

Naruto's move on kisame befor escaping

Hello i am >User Talk:NarutoUzumaki523 and i'd like to know why add blinding speed if it is known that he used teleportation jutsu (Body Flicker) and saying his blinding speed is like saying he moved and ect but killer bee said him self "Body flicker (or in other translation teleportation) and a right hand smash, but all i saw was a yellow flash!" so i am woundering why not put body flicker? (talk)

Stuff

Omnibender you must take a look at the kanji for Transparent Escape Technique LOL. It makes it sound like a Release... although Jiraiya does claim he invented it... Just for fun. The "~ton" part of that jutsu usually means "escape" nowadays more than "element", so it's understandable I guess.

And so we have no idea which one of movie and manga was first for coming up with the name "Storm Release" right?

Re: Wow

You mean to tell me you've never seen 500 articles of spam created in an hour in a language that at least 90% of the wiki's readers cannot understand?

You'll forgive me if I find that hard to believe.

On the bright side, we now know what time of the day the Volunteer Spam Task Force is not available. ~SnapperTo 02:48, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

We seem to have a recurring issue with sarcasm. ~SnapperTo 02:36, October 15, 2010 (UTC)

Bold Heading

Excuse me for the intrusion, but may I have a word with you? This really has been bugging me since I first came here, but I always kinda shy to bring it up. I looked through most of the jutsus' pages here on the Narutopedia, and I've noticed that only a minimum about of it has bold heading, like the Rasengan for example. I was wondering, with a high-ranking user's permission, if it'd be all right if I had do the same to the other jutsus' pages.--NinjaSheik 19:10, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

I see, but aren't most wiki articles have bold headings on their articles? Besides, it makes the page look better. I don't see the problem with it, do you? Will be okay for me to do it, please?--NinjaSheik 19:57, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

So, it that a "no"?--NinjaSheik 20:03, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, okay. I understand...I think. Thanks, Mister Omnibender. Oh, and next time we talk, can we stay on one talk page? I really hate going back and forth to our talkpages when we could just reply to each other one page.--NinjaSheik 20:12, October 16, 2010 (UTC)

Classification

Setting allowed values for properties is my way of attempting to idiot proof the semantic values. Don't know why "?" still appears in special:browsedata/characters ... SimAnt 21:41, October 17, 2010 (UTC)

Before you poke me about it, for Special:BrowseData/Characters, classification will be down until pages update. I didn't like the property being subject to redirects, when it had fixed values in it. SimAnt 20:58, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

Nativty of 1,000 trees as a kekkei genkei? ( Hashirama Jutsu)

i was thinking about this last night as i slept:

should Hashirama's Birth of dense woodland be technically classified as a Kekkei genkai? the word Kekkei Genkai is defined in the world of Naruto as " a technique limited to inheritance by blood". from this description it point to the fact that everyone one that is a descendant or closely relative of hashirama would be able to use mokuton jutsu ( basing it off of the fact that in the world of Naruto, blood line limits seem to be dominant gene's, giving everyone whom is born into that family that ability [ think about it , have you ever seen a hyuuga, aburame, yamanaka, or nara member that does not have the ability to utilize their special jutsu?]). this would mean that Tsunade and Tobirama could have ( and effectively would have) used the Wood jutsu in their time of battle. also, if it was infact a bloodline limit, it wouldn't be classified as so on yamato's profile simply because he isnt a part of hashirama's bloodline. [ this actually adds credibility to the fact that it isn't a bloodline. its more closely related to a high level, unlearn-able kinjutsu]. Hashirama nor anyone else has stated that this is a bloodline, they usually say its a "special technique" ( to my knowledge , i dont think anyone has stated that this is a bloodline technique). i feel that the classification of this technique should be changed from bloodline to High level Kinjutsu.

Is there nothing we can do about Wiki contributers?

I understand that this is a place where people can learn about Naruto without fan-fiction and no one with the intentions of learning should be blocked, but it's getting quite annoying where they start to edit stuff to meet their own "standards". Is there nothing that can be done? --GoDai (talk) 05:12, October 19, 2010 (UTC)

Well not sure about the Russian vandalism, but I'm seeing more "Wikia contributers" and some users adding false or inaccurate info to completely fine pages. It happens a lot when no one right in their mind is on the site... and the edits stay until discovered. And I swear I didn't see so many Wikia contributers at once.--GoDai (talk) 01:52, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

Arc Numbers

Then that doesn't really make sense, since the title Shippuuden is only relevant to the anime...

Oh, I see what you mean. I wasn't aware there was a specific article for the different arcs, I was just using the Property Value page. Thanks for the info. 99.230.209.13 (talk) 20:25, October 20, 2010 (UTC)

Is Ohana ever wrong?

When I'm searching for raws... I usually see Ohana's posts of the Chapters. Are these accurate? --GoDai (talk) 04:30, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

Oh I see. And so this is brought up: Is there really a Bakuton, an element of expolsion? I doubt it , but do we not have raws? I'm pretty sure he meant something like Bakudan, as in bomb. Also, something suggests the difference between 溶 and 熔. Although both can be used for "Lava", the former seems to be related to Kiri and the latter Iwa. Do we leave it for now? --GoDai (talk) 21:15, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

Hmmm, Rōshi was first, and his was referred to as 熔遁, but the word lava itself was 溶岩. Mei was next, and hers was 溶遁, but it wasn't quite specified what she was really using (Hopefully the anime creators will ask Kishimoto before they decide whether it's lava or some globs of corrosives.), and this time, Kurotsuchi uses quicklime (Is that really 石灰?), and once again Kishimoto switches to 熔遁. Isn't he implying the two are different somehow? --GoDai (talk) 21:34, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

I understand. I just hope I don't have to resort to changing my theory to say <"Earth+Water" and "Water+Earth"> are different, although some could just turn out to be Yin/Yang combinations. --GoDai (talk) 21:48, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

If you don't mind me butting in, I have a thing to say about the Lava Release issue. At first glance, it would certainly seem as if the Iwa Yōton uses 熔, whereas the Kiri Yōton uses 溶. However, Rōshi's Yōton has been written with both kanji, which is why I consider both spellings to refer to the same technique. If Kishimoto-sensei had wanted to make this difference between Iwa and Kiri Yōton, I would think he'd be a bit more consistent. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 22:34, October 21, 2010 (UTC)
Almost forgot to answer your question, Omnibender >< To be honest, I really can't tell right now. With Kurotsuchi's technique, I'd like to wait for an actual raw bwfore passing judgement, but with Yamato's technique, it could easily go either way. Really, it is kind of the same problem as with the Lava Releases and even with Temari's Great Sickle Weasel Technique and Scythe Weasel. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 22:38, October 21, 2010 (UTC)

Minor Articles

I'm looking to address this to the person running the Wiki, or lacking that, it's most senior member. If that isn't you, I would appreciate being directed to them. Anyway. There's a lot of smaller articles referring to games, filler, minor characters and the like. So I was wondering if I could get permission to go around expanding them to the best of my ability. I have no intention of giving false information or anything, but these more minor articles often ask if you can improve them anyway. On that note, if any of those articles come up in future you could always drop me a message. -Hawkeye2701

No, I'm just a bit distracted. I'm trying to make an SVG file of the Eye of Rikudō and I really shouldn't try to do multiple things at once... —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 21:18, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

Explosion

I see there's some discussion going on, but I do realize this is true... So what now? Do you think Exploding Clay is the same thing, or this nature is only applied to the clay? Should we create the page Explosion Release? And I'm thinking this will change your theory a bit. However, I would like to say the article at C0 did mention "explosive chakra", and this will bring back the idea that things such as Spider Sticky Gold, Shikotsumyaku, Dance of the Shikigami, Super Beasts Imitation Picture, Shadow Imitation Technique, Chibaku Tensei, Iron Sand, etc. are elements - Not that I think these are elements, but the chances of them being elements are slightly higher, and for misinformed fans, this may be some "support" they have been given. Some of these such as the Iron Sand (magnetic chakra) and the Gravity series used through the Rinnegan seem extra convincing. Once again, not that I really think these are elements, but some of us are going to have to change the way we look at these things... the chances of Kishi changing them to elements are rising, which is quite sad for me. --GoDai (talk) 23:15, October 24, 2010 (UTC)

Nothing

Since Yin-yang release is about "creation" shouldn't there be an opposite, as in "Nothing" or "Destruction of something that exists?" —This unsigned comment was made by Nintendo-Fan (talkcontribs) .

More Elements Discussion

About Yin-Yang Release, are we assuming it's a Kekkei Genkai? At least, in your theory? People like C and Sakura Haruno do indeed seem to use techniques related to both Yin and Yang, but they never seem to use both in one technique. However, Jiraiya speaks of "6 Great Nature Transformations", suggesting mastery of Yin Release and Yang Release is simultaneous, and available commonly. However, it is noted that Nagato had the Rinnegan, Madara had both the blood of Senju and Uchiha (same for Danzō Shimura), and the Sage of the Six Paths were both of these cases. Although all of the users of confirmed Yin-Yang Release were these cases, isn't Jiraiya implying both Yin and Yang are available as Yin-Yang Release, a "sixth affinity" for peole such as the Akimichi Clan, Yamanaka Clan, Nara Clan, etc.? Or, considering the Senju and Uchiha, "Everyone has a primary affinity: Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, or Water, and a secondary affinity: Yin, Yang, or both"?

Also, for your theory, the "advanced form" of Yin-Yang Release should be something like the "Supreme Ultimate (太極; Taigyoku)", a principle related to the harmony of Yin and Yang, which is often contrasted to the "No Ultimate (無極; Mugyoku)", a principle of something like, "the absence of Yin and Yang; a void from which Yin and Yang are divided". --GoDai (talk) 05:35, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Overall, we have 9 possible canonic advanced elements: Ice, Wood, Lava, Blaze(only possible if Sasuke didn't name it himself, otherwise, it's just his manipulation over Amaterasu), Storm, Dissolution(only if it's really different from Lava), Boil, Dust, and Explosion(again, might just be his "comparison"). Ice, Wood, Lava, Storm, and Boil have pretty much been clearly up in terms of components, but others kinda make me doubt my own ideas.

Shounensuki has acknowledged the possiblity of 溶 and 熔 serving different purposes, but we are not sure what Kishi is really trying to say. I therefore separated them as different elements. Although Shounensuki thinks they're both still Lava, I'm kinda on the side supporting that they are different, as although both can be used in the terms "lava" and "dissolution", I think Kishi is just assigning one to each on his own judgement, as he cannot use more than one kanji for the x遁. The Four-Tails was specifically mentioned to manipulate lava, and Kurotsuchi used lime, while Mei Terumī's jutsu, Lava Release: Melting Apparition Technique, was a pun on the term "dissolution" itself. However, my chances of being wrong are quite high too, I guess. --GoDai (talk) 23:00, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Haha I was afraid you would say that... yeah I do realize that, but that was because it was "a literal simultaeous use of 陰遁 and 陽遁 makes 陰陽遁". --GoDai (talk) 23:15, October 25, 2010 (UTC)

Okay you have pursuaded me. Although I originally believed the two elements Sasuke learned at a young age, Fire and Lightning, were related to Blaze Release in a way that "Lightning allows one to manipulate the ionized flames of the Sun(Amaterasu) through a molding of electricity-based energy", some other things jumped at me. Well, first of all, the Lightning not changing the black Fire in nature seemed wrong. It seems that Blaze Release stemming from Fire and Yin does make more sense now, as the Uchiha Clan Ancestor, and therefore the Uchiha Clan, possessed the Sage's spiritual energy, and the Uchiha had an affinity for Fire. Sasuke does possess both Fire and Lightning, but I guess the only reason he was able to learn Chidori was because he was a "genius" (It still took him a few days). The Fire and Yin would make more sense for the Uchiha's abilities and lineage, assuming other Uchiha can achieve Blaze Release (Seeing how Madara and Itachi could both put out the flames). Itachi and Sasuke both displayed Tsukuyomi, representing the "Spiritual World and Darkness" (精神界と闇, Seishinkai to Yami), and therefore, Yin(mind and form), and Amaterasu, representing the "Material World and Light" (物質界と光, Busshitsukai to Hikari), and therefore Fire(burning of materials and emision of light? Light does sound Yang-based, though, and I posted my idea for the black colour thing on your theory page), one in each eye. Sasuke uses Blaze Release by casting Amaterasu with his left eye, and manipulatng it with his right eye (which is his "Yin" eye, given its use of genjutsu and manipulation of form). --GoDai (talk) 00:26, October 29, 2010 (UTC)

Hello

Hi. I understand your need for an accurate site, but I assure you that nothing I added was inaccurate. The information on the Akatsuki page is necessary, I feel, though I can understand your deleting it for the sake of it just kind of being in the way, and seeming not to belong. What I don't understand, however, is how you felt it necessary to delete the -word edit on Yamato's page: "...and is now a prisoner of war." That seems factual to me. It's simple. To the point, short, and out of the way. I'm just wondering why.

Double hello!

Hey sorry about that last post. It was slightly hostile (I was upset) but I read your reasons and stuff and it all sounds good to me. Thanks!

Clan

OK this has been confusing me for awhile. Why do you and a few other users such as LeafShinobi and ShounenSuki keep reverting my simple edit of "Clan" back to "clan". It's really annoying and seems like you guys are doing it for no reason. It is grammatically correct. They are proper nouns because they mention a specific clan not a general sense of the word. I'm going to change them all back and if I see they are changed again I'm going to take more action. Simant has already agreed with me that he doesn't see the point in these edits. I'm goign to talk to the other users and get to the bottom of this. {{SUBST:User:Banan14kab/sig2}} 19:59, November 8, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Ultimate Ninja 2

Yeah... sorry about that. I don't have the game, but someone was just adding Japanese names when they were in Katakana, translating the English into Japanese, and adding names to unnamed jutsu. As for me, I don't have the game, and was assuming the Japanese names put there were real and fixing the romaji. --GoDai (talk) 23:18, November 9, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, thanks. Can you remind me if it's not done later? I'm getting into some busy stuff now. :) --GoDai (talk) 00:40, November 10, 2010 (UTC)

Two years?

I think " Almost two years later, Tenten and Neji Hyūga return to the research lab to retrieve more tools for the village after its destruction" is totally wrong. naruto filled in for lee cause lee was hurt which means be4 lee had surgery. and thats about at least a year be4 the time skip. factor in a year after the start of part 2 easily 5 years so y the reversion? Oh. THAT makes sense, kind of. Though in my opinion they should be ranked by power lol.ZPRN (talk) 16:53, November 12, 2010 (UTC)

Shippūden Movie 3 subjects getting into manga

As others have noted, the rvived characters do strongly resemble the kekkei-genkai bearing ninja captured by Hiruko in the movie, although I would need to watch it again to confirm this unless someone else posts the other pics.

I think this could mean Kishi was collaborating with the movie to some extent, seen with the Storm nature and these characters. Steel, Swift, and Dark were actually okay, and I could accept them as natures as long as Kishi changes their effects into not-so-literal ones, like what he did with Storm.

Also, although vague and speculative, I believe the Two-Tailed Monster Cat and Dark Release could possibly have a connection. The nekomata is associated with the dead, and the underworld (Yomi; Meikai, 冥界), which is in turn related to the name of Dark Release (冥遁). Also, the nekomata is related to strange fires (Will-o-wisp), and the Two-Tails is surrounded in blue fire, while Dark Release: Judgment utilized blue flames, also a connection to the will-o-wisp, due to its name (冥, kurai, meaning gloomy, ghostly, dark in atmosphere/feeling). --GoDai (talk) 19:17, November 12, 2010 (UTC)

Do you remember my Opposite-and-Adjacent theory? I think I might have found something new, and would like you to look over it. I was expanding on the Opposite Recompositions (Ice, Lava, Storm, Dust, and maybe Blaze), and I discovered something. The characteristics of the inferior element is applied to the composition of the superior element, and therefore do not affect its actual "insides":

  • In Ice, Wind changes Water, becoming frozen Water. Fire would eliminate the Wind aspect, melting it.
  • In Lava,Fire changes Earth, becoming molten Earth. Water would eliminate the Fire aspect, cooling it.
  • In Storm, Water changes Lightning, becoming fluid Lightning. Earth would eliminate the Water aspect, "filtering" it as it passes through, making it forked again.
  • In Dust, Earth changes Wind, forming a solid Wind. Lightning would eliminate the Earth aspect, dissipating its rigid form.
  • THEORY: In Blaze, Lightning changes Fire, forming a forked Fire. Wind would eliminate the Lightning aspect, removing the Blaze user's control over the flames (maybe the Wind would attract the Fire out of its shape). I believe I already mentioned my idea of lighting manipulating the ionized state of the sun-hot flames of Amaterasu.

Any thoughts? I thought this was pretty good in describing why Storm wasn't a storm, Dust wasn't made of dust, and why Sasuke's "nature" didn't change anything other than the form of Amaterasu. I thought it was weird that Blaze Release only changed the shape of Amaterasu, but if you think about it this way, Ice is made of only Water, Lava is made of only Earth, Storm is made of only Lightning, etc. All of these have one element changing the only the "form", "shape", or "state" of another element, so to speak.--GoDai (talk) 08:02, November 13, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Anko's team

I think Ranka might not be an Aburame, because I think it might be Muta who is the Aburame. Sure, Ranka is a more feminine name than Muta, but I could see both being used for either gender and Muta has a more Aburame-esque vibe to it.

The name of their team is the Infiltration and Reconnaissance Party (潜入偵察隊, Sennyū Teisatsutai), by the way. Whether Sai and Yamato were members is a good question. Checking back, we've seen Anko tracking Kabuto about three times, I believe. The first time was with Sai and Yamato, the second time with Tokuma and two other shinobi (one of whom could be the non-Aburame, non-Hyūga member of the third team), and the third time with Tokuma, the Aburame member, and another shinobi. I think the best thing to do is just include them all and mention that there were three different team make-ups and it might not have become the actual Infiltration and Reconnaissance Party until the last one. It's clearer and more workable than treating them as different teams. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 03:16, November 14, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Directs

Better ask Simant. He might have intentionally done that. ~SnapperTo 21:01, November 14, 2010 (UTC)

I know. But Simant might have wanted them to be doubles. He could similarly not have noticed that they were doubles nor that the page was protected, but that's why you should ask him. ~SnapperTo 21:07, November 14, 2010 (UTC)

Bridge of Heaven and earth

should we also include the fact that " it is the main through route for the heaven and earth 'countries' "? that would most likely mean that most of the countries which represent heaven [ i.e. the sky ( rain country] would be on one side of the bridge while the countries that represent earth would be on the other. is this too much of an assumption?

[ im pretty sure i heard tsunade (( or possibly yamato)) mention something similar to this right before the 4 tails versus orochimaru fiasco]

EDIT: if this rule is true i found an exception to it. the land of lightning is on the wrong side XD!

And another problem arises.

Just checked the clans page and all the anime only ones are gone. Is this connected to the other problem? EDIT: Forgot to sign it, sorry. -Hawkeye2701
