Re: Game moves that make unnamed stuff canon

I quite enjoy when game jutsu can give names to canon jutsu as well. I'm be sure to drop by. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:05, February 19, 2014 (UTC)

I'm in need of a second opinion. In whichever video of it you can find, take a very good look at the movements of Chiyo's ninjutsu from the Storm games, Puppet Performance: One in Body and Soul. In fact, take a look at her entire non-awakening moveset in those games. Most of those use the Mother and Father puppets, and it's kinda difficult because of the camera angles. Many of those moves resemble things she does in chapter 267, when those puppets first clash with the Third Kazekage puppet. If absolutely everything matches, we could have another article make the jump to manga and anime. Some of the others might make the jump to manga anime jutsu too as individual parts of that one ninjutsu, but since they don't have articles for now, I'm not as concerned. I've looked at her moveset from Accel 2, and while her ultimate looks like it has well, the ending of the technique is different. Oh, and White Secret Technique: The Chikamatsu Collection of Ten Puppets: Earth Attack and Early Sacrifice could use images. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 15:07, February 22, 2014 (UTC)

Try checking Special:Newpages whenever you come by, it's probably faster than me dropping by every time. Just check the jutsu articles. Another one since the last message is Moonlight. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 17:40, February 24, 2014 (UTC)

Re: ...

I recall there being a technical reason for that being preferred that was discussed sometime in the past, but I can't find it. The way to enter those three dots is in the + sign, that opens a pop-up where you can enter that from. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:07, March 5, 2014 (UTC)

Title edits

We don't really extend the translated title to jutsu and tools. It's not really necessary, since their articles tend to be much shorter. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 15:49, April 3, 2014 (UTC)

Yeah. Basically, it's sort of unnecessary for jutsu and tools. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:31, April 3, 2014 (UTC)
Can you give me examples? I think it might be the case that some tools may have their names added when the article title is actually the name of the tool instead of what the tool is. For example, "sword" shouldn't have it, because that's what it is, but "John Doe" would have it, since that would be the sword's name. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:46, April 4, 2014 (UTC)
The Treasured Tools of the Sage of the Six Paths and the Puppet article don't quite count. Most of the ones that you were adding names already had it in their infoboxes. Treasured tools in particular doesn't have it because it describes them as a set instead of as individual tools, and it doesn't have an infobox. Puppet doesn't have an infobox either. You'll notice that it's the only instance in the page with the translation. Sand I agree, with, there's no need for that one in the opening sentence, but the "specially made sand" should still stay there. Yes, those three examples should have it, but not the kunai. Vandals

Don't bother telling them to stop, they have no intention of doing so and communicating with them just invites them to continue doing it because they are getting a reaction. Just keep reverting until a sysop comes online. --Speysider Talk Page | My Image Uploads | Tabber Code | Channel 17:01, April 27, 2014 (UTC)
