Guren

Looks like we already have an article on her, Goren. It appears that her name is translated differently by some groups. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Dec 19, 2008 @ 19:26 (UTC)

Dattebayo

My friend. Dattebayo is not subing Naruto anymore because TV TOKYO are going to do themselves the subbing. I am not sure about the differences between Naruto with no sub and with sub(release time) but i heard it's not so big. therefore DB tought it was useless to continue subbing something that is subbed —This unsigned comment was made by Kadaj22 (talkcontribs) on 14:31, January 1, 2009.

Not useless, it was done out of respect. It would be nice if people actually bother to do research before asking questions:

Three or four sources are going to be streaming the naruto series. For those people who wait 7 days it'll all be free, for those who get a fairly cheap membership they can view naruto in HD 1 hour after it is broadcast in Japan (that's even faster than a fansub will come out).

The anime companies themselves are going ahead and allowing people overseas to watch the anime at low cost with low latency to when the show actually comes out. Someone would have to be pretty disrespectful to reject that kind of offer. And fansubs where created with these kind of goals in mind, any fansub group still fansubbing a series after the companies are broadcasting the anime like this, are nothing but a group of media pirates.

My only concern is the inability to watch stuff offline and buffer large sets of episodes beforehand (for those with slow connections). Hopefully one of those official distributors works on creating an offline viewer sometime. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Jan 1, 2009 @ 23:54 (UTC)

Video Game Techniques

That goes against a clean standard for infoboxes, it'll also make things more complecated to handle once we add the new infobox system. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Jan 3, 2009 @ 01:07 (UTC)

List of Naruto: Songs

Hey, All! I was just wondering if I should make a page for all the Naruto songs that exist in openings ending and in the anime. Please leave you comments, ideas, objections or compliments!--NejiByakugan360 00:13, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, you could make the endings and the original soundtrack. The anime's already made. See? The Naruto Anime's Opening Themes. --Rasengan888 00:54, 5 January 2009 (UTC)

Someone already started Naruto Music. Why don't you move that to Music and try fixing things up so that people that navigate from the main page to Multimedia can actually find the page. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Jan 5, 2009 @ 02:43 (UTC)

Re: Adding Page

I am not sure, but there is a possibility that you have made so many pages that you simply can't make anymore. If that is the case, I will let Dantman know so he can fix so you can ad pages again. And if I'm wrong, I'm sure he will find a solution. Jacce 06:53, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Screenshot would be helpful if there is anything special. There isn't any page creation limit that I know of. I saw a mention of the search feature on Jacce's talkpage. The search page doesn't give any big message for me, I don't even know if it ever has, however everyone should be able to see the redlink next to "You searched for ...".
Though, as I saw some page moves in your history Wikia does have the movepage rate limit enabled. Uses can only move 2 pages and then need to wait awhile before moving another. We sysops, and my bots are able to bypass this limit ourselves though if anyone needs batch page moves. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Feb 7, 2009 @ 07:09 (UTC)

Pages you've created

You can take a look at Special:Contributions/NejiByakugan360/Archive 1 to see the contributions you have made to the wiki. You can't filter the list down, but a bold N does mark edits you made that created a page. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Feb 7, 2009 @ 20:28 (UTC)

User page

Fixed. And I made sure that no anonymous visitor will play with it again. Jacce 05:25, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

Re: Editing

  • 100% Single Punch: The first sentence just repeated what was stated in the bullet points. The description itself was vague, so I tried to make sense of it. If you've played the game please improve it.
  • 8 Trigrams Palm 64 Palms: The description was confusing, so I tried to make sense of it. If you've played the game please improve it.
  • acupuncture: As I said in my edit summary it's not a jutsu, having never been given an entry in the manga data books. It's simpler having a cross-wiki link as is done with anime and kitsune.

~SnapperTo 22:59, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

I have no idea. I assume that's the name given for some button sequence. Video game justu are difficult to fact-check. ~SnapperTo 23:04, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Is it actually an item that is named in the series and distinct enough to need its own article? Because Crystal Release: Jade Crystal Labyrinth Technique already describes the use of a seed in its creation. ~SnapperTo 18:05, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Re: More Techniques

Done. Jacce 07:14, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for reminding me, I completly forgot. Jacce 18:02, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Sealing Technique has now been added to Sakura's and Hinata's infoboxes, and this time I remembered the "anime only" tag. Jacce 05:42, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Added Water Needle Technique to Hinata. Jacce 05:28, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Dantman did. Talk to him. Jacce 14:28, 14 March 2009 (UTC)

Userpage

Well, what kind of stuff were you planning on putting on the userpage? ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Mar 3, 2009 @ 21:39 (UTC)

Im planning to put stuff about what i edited, my created pages and personal info about what narutopedia pages should be added.--NejiByakugan360 21:45, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Yup, that's fine. That's basically the point of userpages. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Mar 3, 2009 @ 23:03 (UTC)

Re: Rank Questions

I don't think that it is forbidden to ask for rollback status (if my memory functions I think that some trusted members has asked for rollback and has been given it). Just make sure you have a good edit history of reverting vandalism, then I think Dantman will give you rollback. Jacce 18:21, 10 March 2009 (UTC)

Rollback is a simple flag to give and remove (heck, to be honest I don't see much wrong with every autoconfirmed user having rollback), so I just give it out whenever I see anyone doing a lot of vandalism reverting. Though NejiByakugan360, you seam to focus on creating content, I don't see how rollback helps you when you're not a vandal fighter. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Mar 12, 2009 @ 17:18 (UTC)
Yeah, thanks a lot! But I was wondering, how do you revert stuff on the wiki? Is there like a certain button you need to press?--NejiByakugan360 22:29, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
If you are a rollback user, you gets a new button that says "rollback", which reverts all edits by the latest user that edited the page. Jacce 05:52, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Re: Image deletion

The reason behind the deletion tagging is not that there is more than one of the same character. Under the Image policy, it states that you have to add a Fair use rationale, aswell as the notice about copyright.

You can use other pictures (For example http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Image:Team_Jiraiya.jpg) as example/template for the fair use rationale you make.

Hakinu 22:50, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Re: Image deletion

I did that because the administrators told me to notify the uploaders when a picture lacks of the Fair Use Rationale and/or License, since this gives the editors more work than they should have. Cheers! Hakinu 22:54, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Well, the noticing is pretty new. But fine, I will try to remember to not notice you. Although I can't promise others won't; I'm not the only one who has the template for deletion notice.

Taijutsu

Just letting you know. Taijutsu is natural technique.

Re: Deletion

Those notices aren't just a courtesy. They are requests to fix what's wrong with those images so they might not have to be deleted. There is also no need for you to stop uploading images. you just have to make sure you put in the proper copyright status and fair use rationale. It would be a waste of your effort if they were just deleted and a shame if you just quit uploading images at all. Your lack of tagging notwithstanding, the images you uploaded were all pretty good ad helpful. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 01:51, 23 March 2009 (UTC)--ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 01:51, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Re: Images

Apperently he wants you to ad a Fair use rationale to your images. Something like this:

Jacce 05:37, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Crystal nature

Since you're the one who put the Crystal nature under the new heading of "Additional Types", would you mind answering my question here? --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 21:37, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Relationships

The Soul Eater Wiki has those to. I find they bloat the page unnecessarily and honestly I think the articles would be better without them. As for the Narutopedia we already have a huge amount of plot info for characters, I'm quite sure that an extra relationships section would bring articles to unreasonable sizes. Lists are evil, that kind of stuff is better left inside the body of the article. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Mar 28, 2009 @ 01:54 (UTC)

Nature icons

I'm glad you like the images I created. I like your idea of putting icons for a character's natures in the article, but I don't think they should be in the same place as the character's clan, village, and kekkei genkai icons. I feel they would be better placed in the infobox, where the natures are listed in the first place. Like how the flags of the belligeranyts of a battle are shown next to the name in the military conflict infobox used on Wikipedia (e.g. here and here). I wouldn't know how to do this, though. We'd have to ask Dantman. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 17:29, 28 March 2009 (UTC)

Images

NejiByakugan360, if you're not going to tag images properly then please stop uploading them. You aren't listening at all to the wiki's policies, and that's not helping. Quite frankly I only group people by whether they're trying to help the wiki or not, and if someone isn't listening to comments that they are doing something that isn't helping the wiki, then that person really isn't trying to help the wiki. So from my viewpoint, I group people that don't listen to those comments in the same group as vandals that are purposefully trying to ruin the wiki. Unfortunately I cannot revoke upload rights from someone, so when someone doesn't listen to upload policies my only tool is the block tool if they refuse to listen. Your comments on not caring about upload warnings and ignoring the policies is disruptive behavior on the wiki. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Mar 30, 2009 @ 01:48 (UTC)

Thank you

Thank you for filling in the Fair use rationales! Would be nice if you removed the {{No rationale}} thing while you were on it! Hakinu 15:50, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
