Re: "Not a forum"
That might be the meaning of it, but I have the March issue of English Shonen Jump right beside me and her nickname is translated as "The Red-Hot Habanero". I just read it like two minutes ago. Loki29 (talk) 00:53, February 7, 2011 (UTC)
Barring some specific cases, we use the literal translation of the terms used in Japanese, ShounenSuki doing the translations from the raws. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:58, February 7, 2011 (UTC)
Then, would inserting ('Red-Hot Habanero' in the English manga), be ok then? Loki29 (talk) 01:02, February 7, 2011 (UTC)
Not sure. You said you saw the term in the English Shonen Jump. I've never heard of terms being used from there. English terms here usually come from Viz Media. For example, what we call Dust Release, we list the Viz translation as Particle Style (don't know how it was called in the English Shonen Jump). I advise you to ask ShounenSuki, who is more versed in these translations than anyone here in the wiki. I didn't even know there was an English version of SJ. Re: Body Flicker Technique Page
- Wikia wouldn't recognize it as a reference the way you were making it and it would just read it as text.Loki29 (talk) 05:18, April 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Sometimes that also happens with the summary tags. Just make a minor edit to the page and it should go away - add a link, move some words around, etc. No need to mess with the ref's format. By the way, you're supposed to reply to someone on their talkpage, not yours. ~ Fmakck© (Images | contribs) 09:21, April 12, 2011 (UTC)
