Re: Yasha the Night Demon
- Ah, here I was thinking you were just being an idiot ^^ Luckily, you only made a minor mistake and one that wasn't even your fault. Night demon is a somewhat bad translation of the kanji for the word yasha. However, I've never actually seen them being called night demons in English, hence why I removed that bit from Yashamaru's trivia just now. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 12:35, October 11, 2010 (UTC)
Hello^_^ Sakura is my second favorite character in the series besides Naruto and I am glad you don't hate her. I have nothing but good things to say about her and any wrong things she does I blame it on Kishimoto. Sakura is not a useless character but she feels like she is because of how strong her teammates are instead of her and wants to be supportive, especially to Naruto. I too am disappointed with the way Kishimoto portrays her skills. Her skills haven't seemed to improved since the beginning of Shippuden unlike that of Naruto's and Sasuke's. She should at least know how to summon like Tsunade and be seen training but no. We never see that. I personally think Sakura is the 5th most strongest female character in the series, better and stronger then Hinata. Also, I don't mind talking to you about this. I love to socalize after all. My views on Hinata..well I don't love her at all or like her very much but I don't hate her. I like Hinata sometimes. She's kind and gentle and it good that she wants to improve herself but again there are times she annoys me. Her shyness was cute at first but it got old to me pretty quickly. I also don't like how her character has little substance to it unlike Sakura's. Her feelings for Naruto are all that stands out and she isn't very special, unlike what her crazy fans(Crazy. Not normal) say about her. So, in reality, I don't like her very much but I don't hate her. I just think her "crazy" fans give her to much credit for things when in reality, Hinata is more useless then Sakura who did kill an Akatsuki member as well as heal her friends and comrades. Point being, Sakura is much more useful to the plot then Hinata. Romance Girl (talk) 08:32, March 17, 2012 (UTC)Template:NaruSaku fan
Our thoughts on Hinata are the same Kiadony. I have never hated Hinata's character for she is too much of a nice girl for that but I have been repeatedly disappointed with some of her actions lately. Hinata has or had potential to be a great, well-developed character if Kishimoto took the right direction. She could have shown to become much more confident in her abilities(Let's be honest. Hinata has grown as a character a little in Shippuden but it never takes much for her to lose her self-confidence. It's like one minute its there, the next it's gone. Even recently in the war.), have a more markedly stronger goal to lead her Clan as the heiress, and overcome her hopeless, one-sided love for Naruto which would in turn complete her character development. I actually believe Kishimoto intended Hinata to overcome her romantic attachment to Naruto after her confession(It would make sense. Hinata was smiling when Sakura hugged Naruto after all.) but remembered how many fans(NaruHina fans and some Hinata fans for example) would be upset over it so decided to keep Hinata's love for Naruto for their sake even though her feelings will likely never be returned. So I am disappointed in Kishi over this but he did want to keep fans so I guess it's understandable. I sometimes feel like Hinata's character is a sad joke and if I were the author, I would have made Hinata into a more developed character. I still don't hate her but Kishimoto could have done so much better with her and I regret that he hasn't.
Honestly, if you asked me if I liked Sakura's character when I first started getting into this series, I would have laughed and insulted her to death because I am a former Sakura hater. She went from my most hated character to one of my favorites once Part 2 started. I hate Part 1 Sakura. She was shallow and selfish with barely any useful skills as a ninja, not to mention her "love" for Sasuke was annoying and I never understood it. When Part 2 started, she changed. She was more mature, kind, stronger and more useful as a ninja(super strength, medical ninjutsu), much more caring towards Naruto every day, and though she still carries feelings for Sasuke, she is more focused on bring back to Konoha than as a boyfriend. It seems she finally gave up on winning Sasuke over and has a more "real" view on him as well as other things. Of course Sakura still kept her short temper and would punch Naruto occassionally but I honestly never hated her for that. In fact it is great comic relief to me and that justs makes me like her more. Sakura also seems to be getting less selfish as the series goes on, usually putting Naruto's feelings above her own. That's why I love her and I feel that so many people hate her because she is widely misunderstood, almost as much as Sasuke is.
Hinata's feelings and Sakura's feelings. Hinata's love for Naruto is illogical to me almost as much as Sakura's "love" for Sasuke is. Hinata, who barely knows the real Naruto, and intereacts with him even less, suddenly loves him when it almost seems like only admiration? That is how I see Hinata's love for Naruto and I only hope for her sake that she moves on, since someone as nice as her doesn't deserve to get her heart broken by Naruto who obviously doesn't like her that way. I absolutely hate Sakura's "love" for Sasuke. If there is anything I would complain about her character, it's her feelings for him which do nothing but drag her down with guilt and shame. Sakura's love for Sasuke never made any sense to me, even in Part 1. The only reason I can even think of are his good looks and talent as a ninja which are shallow reasons that can only be associated with a infatuation. I never believed she truly loved Sasuke, even now. She probably mistook it as love when it really isn't. But really, WHY EXACTLY does she love Sasuke????? We were never even given a reason for it unlike that of Naruto's love for Sakura and Hinata's feelings for Naruto. Sasuke was always a jerk to her and after trying to kill her twice, why would she still feel that way for him. Despite this, I still feel bad for Sakura's situation. She is obviously not proud of her love for Sasuke and Sakura's character development will be completed when she forgets Sasuke which she probably will at some point.
There is not one thing I hate about Naruto. He is lovable, strong, and never gives up on anything which I like. Suprisingly, I love everything about him. As for why Naruto's love for Sakura haven't been brought up lately, I think the reason is obvious: If Naruto's feelings were repeatedly brought up, it would distract us from the action and current events going on. Kishimoto doesn't always like repeating himself unless it bears some kind of importance or is neccessary for something. Hinata's feelings were brought up to keep the Naruto/Hinata fanbase interested and Sakura's for character development. Naruto's are something he feels shouldn't be repeated constantly as we should already recognize that he still loves her and it is unlikely to change since he never gives up on anything. Naruto even blushed when she did the confession and when Sakura asked Naruto whether he liked her or not he countered it with something else, leaving it unanswered. Naruto's love for Sakura has been a mature, geninue one as this was seen in the confession and Naruto will at one point tell her how he feels, likely before the final battle. Anything pairing-related in Naruto, it will either end in the Naruto/Sakura couple or no pairings in the end. I really don't see any other option.
