Iyineda, when you upload images could you please give them actual filenames instead of using numbers. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Oct 3, 2008 @ 20:42 (UTC)
- When you upload an image there is a "Destination filename" field, you can use that to give the file an actual filename when it's uploaded. In the "Licensing" field you can select a relevant fair use type for the image. And in the "Summary" field you can give the image a proper fair use rationale, Forum:Fair use tagging tips... has some helpful info on that. ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) current discussion Oct 3, 2008 @ 21:12 (UTC)
Yondaime Raikage's name edit Edit
Hi, guys. Say, why don't we use 'Ei' instead of 'Ē'? It does look better on screen/paper. Besides, that what we did with Shi and Jei/Jay. We don't use letters only for their names in English.
- It is because of how they are written in Japanese. Jei is written as ジェイ (ji - small e - i), but Ē is written as エー (e - vowel lengthening symbol). Vowels lengthened with the ー symbol are rendered with a macron in rōmaji. If Jei was written as ジェー, it would have been romanised as Jē.
- Shī is written as シー (shi - vowel lengthening symbol), so it also gets a macron. --ShounenSuki (talk | contribs) 22:38, December 4, 2009 (UTC)
Got it. Thanks for the explanation, Sho. =)

Alright. Fine with me. I thought they were your personal preferences, that's why I got all worked up. I know ShounenSuki is kinda like the boss editor around here. ^^' Iyineda (talk) 18:22, November 8, 2010 (UTC)Iyineda
