Re: Need a translation please

  • Sage Technique Combination Barrier Ninjutsu: Red Sensory Electrifying Barrier
  • Lightning Sage (雷光仙人, Raikō Sennin)
    • I went with 「雷光」 —which technically means 'flash of lighting'— because it was more consistent with the other sage names: Toad Sage (蝦蟇仙人, Gama Sennin), White Snake Sage (白蛇仙人, Hakuja Sennin), and Sage of the Six Paths (六道仙人, Rikudō Sennin). All are written with four kanji.
  • Barrier Unlocking Key Technique (結界解鍵の術, Kekkai Kaiken no Jutsu)
  • Genjutsu Seal (幻術封印, Genjutsu Fūin)
  • Lightning Release: Electrifying Beat (雷遁・電化美音, Raiton: Denka Bīto)
    • I took some liberties with this one. 'Beat' is bīto (ビート) in Japanese, but katakana don't look nice in technique names. So I went Kumogakure here and looked up some fitting kanji that could be used to write bīto. The kanji I used literally mean 'beautiful sound'.
  • Water Release: Three Headed Roaring Lion (水遁・三頭哮獅子, Suiton:Santō Kōjishi)
  • Sage Technique: Inescapable Hair Bind (仙術・不可避髪縛り, Senjutsu: Fukahi Kamishibari)
  • Cloaking Barrier Technique (遮蔽結界の術, Shahei Kekkai no Jutsu) if you want to go Scifi, or Cloaking Barrier Technique (隠れ結界の術, Kakure Kekkai no Jutsu) if you want to stay more traditional.
  • Sage Technique: Lord of the Clouds (仙術・雲主, Senjutsu: Kumonushi)
  • Demonic Illusion: Enslaving Feathers (魔幻・奴隷羽, Magen: Doreibane)
    • This would more literally mean 'Slavery Feathers', but it was as close as I could get.
  • Drum Sealing Method (封鼓法印, Fūko Hōin)
    • I'd like to point out that this makes it look as if you're sealing the drum, rather than using the drum to seal. Just compare it to Black-Sealing Method (封黒法印, Fūkoku Hōin), Fire-Sealing Method (封火法印, Fūka Hōin), and Evil-Sealing Method (封邪法印, Fūja Hōin).
  • Clone Merging Technique (分身合体の術, Bunshin Gattai no Jutsu)
    • GATTAAAAI!!!

Kishimoto-sensei has actually used both senjutsu and senpō as a prefix, although he uses the latter far more often. As for your technique, I could think of several possible translations, as the Japanese really don't have such a good translation for the word 'invisible':
  • Sage Art: Hidden Sensory Barrier Defence (仙法・隠れ感知結界防, Senpō: Kakure Kanchi Kekkaibō)
  • Sage Art: Transparent Sensory Barrier Defence (仙法・透明感知結界防, Senpō: Tōmei Kanchi Kekkaibō)
    • This one uses the same word as is used in the Japanese title for The Invisible Man.
  • Sage Art: Invisible Sensory Barrier Defence (仙法・不可視感知結界防, Senpō: Fukashi Kanchi Kekkaibō)
    • This one uses a very scientific-sounding word for 'invisible'.
If it were up to me, I'd throw the words around a bit and create Sage Art: Unsensable Barrier Defence (仙法・不感知結界防, Senpō: Fukanchi Kekkaibō)
As for Itachi, he says: "No wonder there was no reaction to the genjutsu… This is a Shadow Clone…" (「幻術に手応えが無いハズだ…これは影分身…」, "Genjutsu ni tegotae ga nai hazu da… Kore wa Kage Bunshin…")
I wouldn't say this means kage bunshin are immune to genjutsu, as the clone was clearly caught in it. It just means that they don't react to the illusionary pain and such inflicted on them. Kage bunshin might simply not feel such things as pain. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 06:12, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
B says genjutsu are "ineffective" (「きかない」, "kikanai") on him. Itachi says the clone had "no reaction" (「手応えが無い」, "tegotae ga nai"). I don't think either was meant to imply true immunity. I don't think anyone at all is immune to genjutsu, in fact. B simply has an easy way to escape them and clones don't have the brains and minds needed to be affected by genjutsu. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 12:59, April 4, 2012 (UTC)
A says, "There isn't a shinobi who's faster than me. Not now that the Fourth Hokage is no longer around, that is! How many times did we compete. I'd daresay there wasn't a shinobi who could surpass him in that. Konoha's Sannin Jiraiya told me about him. The child of prophecy… The saviour, I think he called him. But if he was a saviour, why isn't he here now, during this time of crisis? It's because he failed during the Kyūbi affair! As his son, you didn't learn anything from that!! You even keep on talking about everything without knowing if they're possible or not…" Are ni masaru shinobi wa inai mto made omowasareru otoko datta. Kikeba ayatsu wa Konoha no Sannin Jiraiya ni. Yogen no ko……… Kyūseishu to iwareta sō da na. Daga kyūseishu nara naze ima kono kikiteki jōkyō de inai? Yatsu wa Kyūbi jiken de shippaishita kara da! Soko kara omae wa musuko toshite nani mo manande inai! Fukakuteina kanōsei de monogoto o kataru baka hodo…") —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 22:35, April 9, 2012 (UTC)

About the clone, Tobi says: "It's nothing more than something cultivated from the living cells stolen off that man during that fight" (「あの戦いで奴から奪い取った生きた細胞を培養したものにすぎない…」, "Ano tatakai de yatsu kara ubaitotta ikita saibō o baiyōshita mono ni suginai…") He doesn't specify who stole them, actually. It could be himself or someone else entirely.

In chapter 561, Kabuto says: "…Somehow I don't know whether that fake Madara feels inclined to act just as planned" (「…あの偽マダラが計画通り事を運ぶ気があるのかどうかは分かりませんが」, "…Ano nise-madara ga keikakudōri koto o hakobi ki ga aru no ka dō ka wa wakarimasen ga"). This statement certainly doesn't vouch for Tobi being Madara. On the contrary, as Kabuto uses the same word as used to describe the fakes created by the white Zetsu. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 18:39, April 20, 2012 (UTC)
