Re: Eight Trigrams Palms Vacuum Heaven

Let's see. First there's the matter of the romaji. We've seen the kanji for this technique's name in multiple sites, and in footage video, from which it was translated. It is "kū", if you look up the penultimate kanji in any kanji dictionary, you'll see that it has a "kū" as a pronunciation. There's nothing to indicate that this technique has her anime technique as a parent technique. The very name of the technique is almost the same as the technique used by Neji and Hiashi, and probably a play of words on it. Regarding range, we based it on the parent technique. Neji's technique was given a short range in the databook, meaning it has a range of five meters. I have a vague memory of this from gameplay video I watched a few times while name-hunting, and it seemed to go beyond five meters which is why it is also marked as mid range, which is from 5 to 10 meters. Ten meters is a lot, and since this is range, this gives that technique a attack diameter of 20 meters which is a lot, and probably what is seem when she performs it. The game debut parameter is meant to give only the video game in which the technique first appeared, hence the section name in the infobox is debut. Even if it appears in other video games, only the first one is listed. Last but not least, the English name just got caught in the middle of reverting the rest, these techniques sometimes get different names in English translations of different games, despite having the same name in the original Japanese. Since it seems to have a different name in Ultimate Ninja Impact, I'll readd it. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:27, July 5, 2012 (UTC)

it doesnt has 5 meters, in that image you can see a small thing and its minato being crushed, you can see in youtube- hinata ougis and you'll see that jutsu makes a huge crate on the grownd, but the rest yeah okay, i agree and understand-CaCo0000 21:52, july 5, 2012

Re: Anime-only jutsu

There are two forms that a character can have a technique listed as anime-only in their infobox: one is if they use a technique which doesn't exist in the manga, the other is for them to use a technique in the anime, which exists in the manga, but which they have not used in the manga. Can you give me an example of a technique that doesnt exist in the manga and a technique that exists in the manga but its not used? maybe from hinata, her ANIME-ONLY jutsus..? xb. CaCo0000 18:00, July 29, 2012 (UTC)

For example: Hinata's Protection of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms doesn't exist in the manga, so it's listed as anime only. Hiashi, her father, uses Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm in the anime, which is a technique that exists in the manga, but which he hasn't used in the manga, so that's listed as anime-only in his infobox. Humm, so basicly its any jutsu that is performed in a filler arc that actually doesnt exist in manga, right? CaCo0000 19:17, July 29, 2012 (UTC)
