Talk pages

Talkpages are made for discussing improvement of articles and give messages to users. If you want to discuss chakra natures, go go to Omnibender. Jacce | Talk | Contributions 19:55, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

Well that's a fun way of discussing the series -.-

One of the five basic principles with wiki is that it is an encyclopaedia. Articles are made for facts, and the talkpages are made for discussing the article. If you want to discuss fan theories, there are a lot of forums that can be found with google. However, this seams quite popular. And sign talkpages posts with ~~~~. Jacce | Talk | Contributions 20:36, January 24, 2012 (UTC)

Content from talk pages are also not to be removed, unless it's obvious vandalism. The talk page is a record of your talks with other members, and is to be available for others. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:11, January 30, 2012 (UTC)

So I can't even custumize my own page... Why do I even HAVE an account here :S —This unsigned comment was made by Antonino200 (talkcontribs) .

This isn't your page. This is your talk page. You page is User:Antonino200, which you can use to tell others about yourself, as long as it doesn't contradict the userpage policy. Also, when commenting on talk pages, sign your comments with ~~~~, it leaves your name, a link to your talk page and it timestamps your comments. This makes things more organized and it makes it easier for people to contact you. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 20:17, January 31, 2012 (UTC)

Revert war

If your edits keeps getting reverted, start a discussion on the talk page. Leading a revert war can get you blocked. Jacce | Talk | Contributions 21:42, January 30, 2012 (UTC)

Aggressiveness

You read too much emotion in other people's posts, at least in mine, it seems. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:12, February 15, 2012 (UTC)

That is why I deleted my comment for the reason you just stated. I do not know why you brought it up, though... —This unsigned comment was made by Antonino200 (talkcontribs) .

Just wanting to make sure you don't get the wrong impression. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:17, February 15, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Nature trans

I'm not ignoring you. You said "If you find this unnecesarry, or boring trivia, feel free to remove it! ;)" that's what I did after saying it was junk trivia. You didn't leave a comment that begs a response, you left a statement.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 11:06, March 11, 2012 (UTC)

I think it was pretty obvious that you'd left a statement of why you'd remove such a thing. Because YOU find it boring and/or unnecesarry, doesn't mean others will find it too.

You're acting like your opinion is the one that takes the royal crown at each occasion. I think you need a wake-up call and realize that other people exist too that have other opinions.

I'm 100% sure that the majority of people are VERY interested in how a slight difference in japanese pronounciation or even writing style, can make a HUGE difference.

With friendly regards, Antonino200 (talk) 17:52, March 11, 2012 (UTC).

Ah, the paradoxes in your message are truly refreshing ^_^
I don't think that's 'pretty obvious' since you left a statement that said " feel free to remove it! ;)" and someone found it boring and unnecessary but yet still you complain when someone does?
If 100% of "the people" were interested... then why has no one reverted it or deemed it decent info?
I can't truthfully say that I can find any regret in saying that I don't return your friendly regards, because frankly, I'm really tired of people like you on this wikia. If you feel so strongly about your trivia point then go bring it up on the article's talk page.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 23:25, March 12, 2012 (UTC)
You do realize that new people will keep coming in on this wikia, you know? I honestly think you need to take a break from this wikia because you're acting like you're the main one controlling it.
If you can't accept another person's view, then you shouldn't be on a wikia that ANYONE can edit... strictness is good, but you're taking it to the limit. (not good, by the way...)
I don't understand why you and a few others are being to agressive when it comes to change, and other innovative idea's... If someone is in favour or changing a page, for example the nature transformation one, it's directly slammed down for reason X.
It's people like you that give the internet a bad name, Cerez. I hardly know you, and you hardly know me, but I can honestly say that you're living a terrible life if you answer almost every post with this kind of sarcasm and attitude.
The VERY reason I joined the wikia community was because of another wikia, one that had NICE leading editers, one that had a drive for positive change. You, instead, are driving this wikia into the ground.
Now, let me analyse your post...
Ah, the paradoxes in your message are truly refreshing ^_^

- You do realize that your sarcasm won't bring this discussion at any good, you're actually fuelling the fire even more, with nothing constructive to add.

I don't think that's 'pretty obvious' since you left a statement that said " feel free to remove it! ;)" and someone found it boring and unnecessary but yet still you complain when someone does?

- I thought it would be pretty obvious that I left the "statement" there for a reason, as such that if removed, an explenation would be put. THIS is the very reason I even put that trivia! It was removed because a single individual thought it would be highly detrimental to the article. As I mentioned earlier as well, you're one person. I am one person as well. Try to EMBRACE change.

"If 100% of "the people" were interested... then why has no one reverted it or deemed it decent info?

- This has probably nothing to do with the high speed of removal that you applied to it. Granted, a lot of people do not express their opinion about a certain matter, for example like this occasion, but that might also have something to do with the fact that you're extremely rural and conservative. The chance that you would smack down another one's opinion would be very high (especially if this user is new, unfamiliar with the subcultural activity on this wikia and makes a few mistakes that are being seen as very idiotic and nooby here). And since you got (I presume) administrative powers, it will probably be quasi-useless to even start to discuss an issue with you.

I can't truthfully say that I can find any regret in saying that I don't return your friendly regards, because frankly, I'm really tired of people like you on this wikia.

- So you're generalizing me to "people like you"? That leads me to presume that there are other people that embrace change and a non-conservative styled-manner of working on this wikia. You do realize that that means that there is quite a large group of people that can be perceived as a "new generation of wikia'ers" right? Like I said earlier in my post, I think you need a break from the wikia. Your attitude can work very annoying. (not to me, I really don't mind people like you...;] ) Oh, and I don't care about your manners. Your guardians or who-ever raised you definitely didn't do a great job if you really meant your statement.

If you feel so strongly about your trivia point then go bring it up on the article's talk page.

- No need. I think a healthy discussion between us two will solve this up. Unless you're not up for it. I want to know the very reason why you keep being so conservative when change is very much needed at some occasions.

Again, with friendly regards. Antonino200 (talk) 16:53, March 13, 2012 (UTC)
  • Yes I do understand that. I also think I should take a break t- nah then I'd have to get a job or go to school or something...
  • I think you should look up the definition of the word 'innovative' and 'innovation'. Stating for example that "Currently, the one with the most known nature transformations is Hiruko (8), althrough he's movie only. In the anime, it is Madara Uchiha (5)" is not innovative, it's been done for ages now on the wikia and it's thrown under "junk trivia" something anyone can see through simple observation and doesn't need to be mentioned in the article.
  • I give the internet a bad name? I don't think my cover has been blown quite yet. I google myself from time to time and people still believe me to be a citrus drink or a transgendered stripper living in Europe.
  • A common mistake is going from one wikia to the next and expecting the same culture/style. Different people = an entirely different culture. I also don't think one person can ever drive the wikia in the ground. If I were, we have some pretty good sysops that would have done away with me by now.
I never expected my sarcasm to bring this "discussion" any good. That's just the way I am, if you expect nice from everyone then you must have been cultivated in a petri dish.
Junk trivia is removed here all the time by users who have a sense of the type of trivia that is valued here. What I still can't understand is why you'd tell people to remove it if they thought it was unnecessary and then proceed to rant about it.
Every page has a history and the "Special:WikiActivity" page that everyone is directed to when they come here, doesn't stop them from seeing user activity. I'm also not an administrator you can either go to a person's page and you'll see 'Admin' beside their names or else go [here for a list of Admins. I'm also not sure how exactly you're speaking for the "a lot of people" since you've said before that you're one person, but I'm glad that you place so much stock in how much the things I do here affects others— though oddly enough you're chastising it at the same time.
Yes I am generalising you with the other handful of people that randomly come here and think "oh this wikia is run by a bag of mean, outdated people. Let's revolutionise it!" or that your edits are any different than those done and then reverted by others.
There's a simple principle in everything that you do when it concerns people/community it's called lurk moar. Spend some time in the shadows and adopt to the wiki'a culture don't come here thinking you're Columbus "discovering" the new world. I'd have you know that the people here aren't "rural or conservative" as you apparently think— just me.
Since the ink in my typewriter's running out and the store to buy one is 2 weeks ride from hence let me say this with regards to the last two parts of your statement — and take this with the utmost seriousness — please do not message me again. Disrespecting me is one thing since I don't really care what you say at all. But talking about a person's guardians or care givers is another thing entirely.

With that, I do hope you enjoy your stay on the wikia which like every other hurry come up (sorry no link, that's colloquialism) will be short (don't worry i'm prepared for the opposite as well). So please go take up your just cause on the article's talk page with your youthful vim and vigour where the rest of the community can become involved.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol 19:37, March 13, 2012 (UTC)

Yes I do understand that. I also think I should take a break t- nah then I'd have to get a job or go to school or something... :- That's actually quite disturbing that you talk so proudly of the fact that you don't have a job, go to school or do anything at all, nota bene... It gives even more proof of your negative state of mind.

I think you should look up the definition of the word 'innovative' and 'innovation'. :- Then do tell me what "good trivia" is. Is explaining the slight difference in use of a japanese name for a jutsu good trivia? Really?

I give the internet a bad name? I don't think my cover has been blown quite yet. I google myself from time to time and people still believe me to be a citrus drink or a transgendered stripper living in Europe. :- I think it's pretty obvious that I meant people *like* you. Let's generalize it... People like you are:

  • Mean to others.
  • Use sarcasm in such a way that it becomes hurtful.
  • Are gorged with satisfaction each and everytime they think that they have succesfully damaged someone's self-esteem.

Yes, you pretty much have all of these attributes. In other words, act like a HUMAN BEING. Be helpful, don't keep trying to insult another. If there is a reason you do something, explain if ASKED... if you took this post as a rant, well I'm sorry. I asked for an explenation for why you did so. I didn't find your explenation sufficient so I asked you to explain it more. Now this has turned to a (quasi) flame wars.

A common mistake is going from one wikia to the next and expecting the same culture/style. Different people = an entirely different culture. I also don't think one person can ever drive the wikia in the ground. If I were, we have some pretty good sysops that would have done away with me by now. :- Didn't quite understand your last sentence, but I think you meant that they would "ban" you or something of that nature? Well, I have to agree on the part that I expected the same style and/or culture like the previous wikia. Still, that is no reason to justify ANY of your recent behavior towards me (and some other posters). You're on a public wikia, one that can be used by any. It's a GENERAL EXPECTATION that people will be helpful towards another. I honestly think you've lost hope in humanity if you really act like this all the time.

I never expected my sarcasm to bring this "discussion" any good. That's just the way I am, if you expect nice from everyone then you must have been cultivated in a petri dish. :- Last time I checked my psychopathology workbook, sarcasm isn't a part of a personality, instead it's used to hide and disguise the pain of the one that uses it. I don't know in what pain you're in, but I'll gladly help you if you'd ask for it... In the meanwhile, please don't use it in such an extreme level. I don't think you realize that not every person can enjoy a good laugh with the usage of words such as you employ here.

:- What?

Yes I am generalising you with the other handful of people that randomly come here and think "oh this wikia is run by a bag of mean, outdated people. Let's revolutionise it!" or that your edits are any different than those done and then reverted by others. :- So you expect that this wikia will have the same lay-out in 50 years? New people bring new ideas. It's called ADAPTATION which you still haven't replied on. You can't seem to accept other people's opinion...

:- I'm only reason I'm thinking it is because I've read a LOT of great suggestions in the talk page to improve certain page lay-out (exempli gratia, the nature transformations, which frankly is a mess...). Answer me this question: What is wrong with making something more easy to read, and better to the eye at the cost of some energy spent to edit it? Also, about the lurking... A boy just joined a scouting group. He just moved from a different country. He doesn't know the values or morals that the group holds dear to. Do you expect the boy to... - Be a silent, asocial person that sits in the "shadows" (as you call it), OR - Try to accustom by using the "Trial and error" technique?

I'm familiar with the lurk moar term, but that's a term used by lazy people that don't want to make ANY effort to make the community larger. It other words, you're conservative about the wikia. Well, too bad for you, it'll change eventually. Wether you like it OR NOT.

Since the ink in my typewriter's running out and the store to buy one is 2 weeks ride from hence let me say this with regards to the last two parts of your statement — and take this with the utmost seriousness — please do not message me again.
