Hello! I am an admin at the Kingdom Hearts wiki's, and our community has pretty much decided that the new skin is intolerable. For example, several of our pages used information-rich tables, and the new skin makes them completely illegible; wikia's response seems to be, "Well, you can still just about read it." We are waiting to see whether wikia will realize that the new skin is a bad decision, but in the meantime, we'd still like to be preparing if we have to move to a new host. I saw your input in the forum, and you seem like the best person to ask for advice, and about what would be required for a move. It would be very helpful if you could join the discussion here, or if that's inconvenient, at least allow us to ask questions here.

Kenjutsu Edit

Hello, I am Demon of the Mist join to help out. While I was viewing the site, I saw it had Kenjutsu. But didn't say what it was a subcategory of. Even though in the Taijutsu definition it says "Taijutsu is simply put, hand-to-hand combat, or weaponry." So I would think its common sense for people to think Kenjutsu is a branch off. But I met someone who argued its not a subcategory. So I just think it should be added there for 100% assurance.

Heh, just trying to make it so semantic queries in the infoboxes that use the class="box ... " set the ul line-height to something reasonable, instead of like 3em. this was working how i wanted it to look. I just figured i'd try to add the other tags as well, especially the paragraph tag. Yah, an anon vandal was spam creating survey pages 6+ hours ago. I protected site against anon user page creation, but noticed a spike in 0 edit user surveys (with the first of which having an ip and not even the users name...), so i beefed up protection to no account creation. Survey Results Edit

I just read a bit of the comments that users who took part in the Survey left, and noticed that some people thought that they would be forced to pay to view the site. Table problem Edit

Before I go through the trouble, I wanted to ask you if this is an acceptable solution for the table that was messed up on the Naruto Shippūden Animation Credits page due to Wikia's new style. Since you wouldn't let me remove the Kanji, how does turning it all into mouseover text sound?

It's a stub and I would've left it alone, but it doesn't even give a reference to what game and it seems rather unlikely a dead ninja with a full name would come up in conversation without any sort of context. Clans Page Edit

Hello. I don't mean to be a pain, so if that is the case, I sincerely apologise, but I already brought it up to Omnibender that the clans page is missing it's anime only clans section. I'd be happy enough to fix it myself, but I don't have all the data and I'm not sure if there's a back up or something to restore it. Hello, I don't know if your the one to contact about this, but I frequently come here to look at jutsus to use for RPs, etc. And I was watching an episode of Naruto (Specifically Episode 178, Season 5, Naruto Shippuden) and I noticed in it a jutsu that I never heard of before called: Fire Style (Release): Synergy Jutsu. I looked in the Fire Release Jutsu list and I didn't find it there, nor did I find an edit button to add it into the list. So I thought I would inform one of the admins, and since you were the first to show up in the admin list, I thought it'd choose you.

Dantman, do you want to move Narutopedia? To possibly get back Monaco, while not losing any article history, user contributions, and usernames/passwords? Well, a friend of mine known as NerotheHedgehog is having wikis moved through his father, with those very standards met. User ranks, the one thing that can be replaced no issue, aren't saved however. While I'm sure you have many, MANY questions, including technical specifics, I'm afraid I can't answer them (not a computer specialist ^^|), but while I'm unable to answer those questions, the offer is very much real and sincere. Any questions you have, you can ask Nero's dad through him on here or here. This offer is most indeed sincere and honest, and as Narutopedia was the first wiki I signed up to, it would be a personal honor if Narutopedia would be willing to move alongside us. The details aren't fully set, but the idea is that a "MegaWiki" would be created, with articles summarizing and linking to each and every wiki among the moved wikis, allowing for full independence for each and every wiki, as well as equal face-time, display, and advertizement. Nono, this move would be done by a proffessional. What's more, while SFw's move has taken severe delays, after its successful move, moving other wikis would hardly be an issue; I highly doubt there would be performance issues. As for Narutopedia's popularity, I'm sure that if Narutopedia moved, making it well-known would take care of that. There's also an alternate, more "rough" idea I have for wikis concerned about that. Plus, Narutopedia would regain Monaco and all of its functions. Also, this could help improve Narutopedia's traffic and popularity; Wikia has lost about 20-25% of its traffic, so seperating from them and regaining Monaco could be a big help. No loss of data or history would also help big-time, because there wouldn't be any starting from scratch. I don't expect you guys to make a decision right away (believe me, you have plenty of time), so I'd really like for this whole suggestion to be brought up to the rest of the Narutopedia community. It would be great if Narutopedia moved as well, especially on a personal level for myself, as I'm a big fan of the Naruto franchise itself, and often come to Narutopedia; being able to see Narutopedia in Monaco (and AD FREE, I might add) and under its own control would be amazing. Well, we never know until we try, right? Also, Nero's dad is the head of his own company or something that specifically deals with online stuff (which comes with the downside of paying clients being a delay for moving wikis). Sonic Fanon Wiki, having over 9000 articles (no mention of the meme, please) is successfully being moved, so it's quite possible Narutopedia could be moved as well. As for bringing this up during the community discussion, it more or less wasn't really paid attention to. There have been several articles created over the last few weeks that have titles identical to existing articles (example). The only difference between them is that the "ū" is replaced by "Å«". I assumed it was wikia's fault, and now I know I'm correct. If you go to the main wikia site and search for something that will send you to this wiki ("Naruto" for example), the "ū" links are all bad. When I check the log of the abuse filter all I see is several "<abusefilter-log-detailedentry-meta>" and the vandal with the 124. How come some pages allow you to "edit with form" and others only allow you to "edit page"? And how to you switch between the two? P.S. If I understand what you're saying about how the jutsu are generated on the characters' pages, then if Hōki is in the list of users on the Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Technique page, then he should have it in his list of jutsu; but he doesn't. Is that just an error or am I not getting what you were saying?

Full-Width Characters Edit

I'm really sorry to bother you with this, but I'm trying to use the bot to replace all instances of the full-width exclamation and question marks (！ and ？) to their normal counterparts (! and ?). However, no matter what I try, the bot actually tries to replace the normal characters and completely ignores the fill-width ones. Hello there. I noticed that some of the information on Naruto Uzumaki's page was incorrect however when I tried to edit the post to correct the information I was told it was locked for editing. Is there any particular reason for this and what should I do about it?

Hello, I'm not sure what happened but earlier today I was editing Might Guy's article and I got a warning message that said what I was doing was consistent with vandalism and something about profanity as well as I'd lose my "auto-confirmed user" status. So I scoured the page and found no profanities and tried again. Later when I just checked some semi-protected pages and apparently now I have been de-listed as an auto-confirmed user. Ninja Clothing Article Edit

Excuse me Dantman, but can you restore the "List of Ninja Clothing" article? Two people felt the article was uneccessary, and just because no-one said anything, they deleted it. Silence doesn't automatically mean approval, as I'm sure you know; it could mean people just didn't pay attention or didn't notice. Amaterasu Edit

Hello sir. I would like to discuss an issue with you to prevent adding any incorrect information, this is about the jutsu " Amaterasu". Ok the thing is it was mentioned in the Naruto series that Amaterasu is a Fire Release Technique. However, when Amaterasu is shape transformed (shape transformation), etc., it becomes part of the "Blaze release" as mentioned by Sasuke himself. No difference in strength and all it does is change the shape of the jutsu. So i think we should classify Amaterasu as blaze release temporarily until further elaboration by the manga/anime. Your archive tool Edit

I don't know how long it's been, but it appears that some change to the wiki engine broke your archive tool. When I try to use it in my talk page, it tries creating archive 10, which I already have.
