Tsuzumi Sarugaku (申楽ツヅミ, Sarugaku Tsuzumi) is a chūnin-level shinobi of Konohagakure.
Appearance
Tsuzumi has spiky brown hair and small black eyes. He wears the standard Konoha shinobi outfit complete with flak jacket and forehead protector.
Personality
Tsuzumi is always smiling and enjoys the going-ons in the Chunin Exams.
Part I
Chūnin Exams
During the final rounds of the Chūnin Exams, Tsuzumi was one of the ninja guarding the entrance to the arena. When Lee and Guy arrive, he welcomes them and then informs them of Neji's defeat by Naruto.
Part II
Pain's Assault
In the anime, Tsuzumi was with Riichi and several others guards outside the village wall when Pain attacked them. After Pain killed Riichi and the others, Tsuzumi attempted to flee to inform Tsunade of the incident. Before he could leave, however, he was pulled in by Pain and impaled with a chakra rod, dying in the process. He was later revived by Nagato's Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique.
