The Tsuchikage (土影; Literally meaning "Earth Shadow") is the leader of Iwagakure and as such is the most powerful shinobi in the entire village.

Main article: First Tsuchikage The First Tsuchikage (初代土影, Shodai Tsuchikage; Literally meaning "First Earth Shadow") was the one who founded Iwagakure in the Land of Earth. He has only been mentioned in the anime during the Bikochu arc.

Main article: Ōnoki Ōnoki (オオノキ) is the current Tsuchikage (土影; Literally meaning "Earth Shadow"), and the leader of Iwagakure. He is called Ōnoki of Both Scales (両天秤のオオノキ, Ryōtenbin no Ōnoki).
