    • Kisame with zero tails...??

In part 1, Itachi said Kisame wouldn't beat Kakashi easily, but it can be assumed Kisame would most likely win anyways, it would just take too long.

So if this is Kakashi say, during the 4th Shinobi World War, then he has a better shot. Obviously he can't fight Kisame like Gai fought him (firepower vs firepower), he'd have to use a lot of misdirection and strategy to pull off a win.

In Part 1, I think Kisame wins 100 out of 100.

If it's late part 2, I'd say Kisame still takes the majority at around 70 out of 100. Kakashi would give a great fight, but he's more of a misdirect then hard finish type fighter. I feel like Kisame could endure most of Kakashi's hard finishers though. Kamui might work if Kakashi could bind Kisame, but that's really Kakashi's only shot.

Or decapitation I suppose. Still, I think Kisame takes majority for overall higher firepower and stamina.

Kisame's moniker is "Tailed Beast without a Tail".

Ohhhhh. I thought he was talking about that zero-tailed thing from that one movie, I didn't realize he was just referencing Kisame's nickname lol

Interestingly, the Third databook lists Kisame as overall weaker than Kakashi in combat. Even though there are lots of inconsistencies in the book so we go off feats instead. It's funny to think that Kishi may have originally meant for Kakashi to be overall stronger, but eventually wrote Kisame as the stronger character.

    • Lets get some things right... the monkier that Kisame is a 'Tailed Beast without Tail' was given to Chojoro, but in real sense he has shown nothing to earn that monkier.

Kisame fought against a real tailed Beast, Gyuki and KillerB didnt even have to go full beast mode to deal with Kisame, even when he had gone on and fused with Samehada. the monkier is probably to do with the fact that he possess Samehada which constantly absorbs chakra from opponents, be it directly from them or thier jutsu, and supplies it to Kisame. the chakra that is continuosly refilled makes an illusion of him possessing Biju level chakra

Kisame has high level of chakra but the monkier was pure hyperbole.

      on topic...

if Kisame has Samehada at his side than no version of Kakashi wins, without Samehada he most certainly will lose to war arc Kakashi.

It's not an illusion. By looking on Kisame with the Byakugan, Neji said that he saw so enormous chakra reserves only in Naruto, while it wasn't even an actual Kisame, but his clone with only 30% of his chakra. The same way, Karin was astonished by his giant chakra supplies, while Chojuro, who mentioned the moniker, outright stated that Kisame's chakra reserves are on Biju level. This feature isn't something caused by Samehada's effects, but his natural ability. Heck, even Samehada itself is known for choosing its wielder by the extreme chakra quantity.

Plus, even if you didn't notice, Killer B got almost defeated by Kisame going full-out. Yeah, B couldn't use full tailed beast mode, but otherwise, Kisame has beaten him right and square.

i am saying Kakashi from 4th War who was proficient in Kamui and all can possibly win but only against Kisame without Samehada.

Kakashi is prominently a ninjutsu user and Samehada just sucks in all ninjutsu. even Genjutsu may not work, considering that Samehada supplies chakra to Kisame, so that's like chakra from others to disrupt genjutsu.

DMS Kakashi can stomp almost all characters, but it is not about him. it is 1Sharingan Kakashi

    • Kakashi's only shot is Kamui. Or if Kisame is stupid enough to make an entire water terrain for Kakashi to use Lightning to zap him utilizing the water as a conductor. Those are the only ways I see Kakashi winning this.

The water bubble was massive, and comparable in scale to other biju-level opponents. So yea, he does have biju-level chakra. Not necessarily comparable to Gyuki, but definitely biju-level.

Other than some sort of outsmarting, i don't really see Kakashi winning this. Though his high-power attacks are very suitable to an opponent that wins with time.
