If we ever get a Naruto Spin-off alongside Boruto, unlike the non-canon comical Rock Lee SD (which was pretty good and funny tbh), what story would you guys like to see, more specifically which person past or present or era would you wanna see, excluding Boruto era.
I'd like to see them start from the otsutsuki and deal with their origins, their plans, working their way to Kaguya and her sons. Basically a huge Naruto :the prequel, except it's not really a prequel but essentially a fully self-contained story.
Hinata and Naruto's childhood! They left out more of things that I wanted to see before they went to the Ninja Academy.
I don't think there's quite enough story to be told here to warrant a spinoff.
Personally, i'd really like to see a "The Last" Anime or manga, which takes that period and makes it into a proper storyline. The wealth of information on the Moon alone could make it an entirely new setting that delves into the Moon clan, it's history, the tenseigan, Hamura, the Gedo Statue. Essentially a whole new Country would be available to explore, and yet all we saw of it were a few minutes of ruins.
Honestly, I would like a spin-off made of mini-arcs to tell us more about the story of Iwa, Kiri, Kumo and Suna. We know way too little about them
That's a reasonable idea, and I'd personally like to see more about the history of these villages, especially the deeds of their own Kage. I mean, Hashirama, the First Hokage, was a legend in his own regard, and it should be expected from the other hidden villages' founders (the first generation of Kage) to be an exceptional shiobi as well, but we've never had a chance to see their reign, let alone their abilities. The same could be said about several of other Kage as well (for example, the Third Mizukage whom we know almost nothing about, the Third Kazekage regarded as the strongest Kazekage, but we've never got to know how he gained that reputation and how Sasori managed to bring him down).
I would have loved a canon series about the aubu days with kakshi, itashi and Capt.Yamato but the other idea would be to make a series about life before hashirama and madara like in warring states period with all the clans show casing there strenths.
Would be cool if they could start an anthology of side stories, taking place in a myriad of time periods with different characters as the central focus. So, every "arc" switches to a different story so to speak.
Would be ample opportunity to finish adapting the novels as well.
Their are several: Easiest ones would be involving prodigies in each generation of village, For instance Hashirama's history and his dealing with Uchiha. This could be followed up by Hiruzen's generation( 2nd Mizukage, 3rd Raikage, Hanzo, 2nd kazekage) this could be followed up by Sannin, White-fang, Might Duy. Which would be followed up by Minato, Fugaku, Ino-Shika-cho, followed by Kakashi's gen(though probably we know a lot about this one.) Than maybe back story on Itachi-Shisui's gen(I think yamato would come here). The stories could involve their legendary exploits for which they became famous and so on
Honestly an anthology series to accompany the original Naruto story would be awesome. I just wish the series as a whole would be more organized and easy to watch, if wanting to avoid fillers.
SP should bump the quality Naruto and early Shippuden to HD quality, remaster some iconic fight scenes, and just merge them together into one show. Then take canon side stories and place them into a separate anthology series for Naruto, and have a separate one for the Boruto era.
Would be so much more attractive to new watchers, as it basically cuts down more than half of each series' episode count LOL
Something centering around naruto parents genin days. Seriously it would be cool seeing genin versions of them and the others their age(talking bout yoshino and Tsume) also maybe something centering around Uzushiogakure. We never got a clear answer as to who exactly destroyed the village(if you want my opinion considering certain movie events it was probably the Land of The Sky)
What about "the tale of jiraiya the gallant" itd be awesome to see him train in mt myoboku, and see all his hardships
I don't know, would that add much? I think that everything we know about Jiraiya is pretty much all the interesting stuff there is. I mean, compared to people like Hagoromo and Hamura, Kaguya, Ashira and Indra, Warring states.
I'd like a spin off about Minato's youth. You know, him starting as a genin, and developing is powers, and rising to chunin andeventually jonin. I'd be cool. We would get to see Jiraiya as a genin trainer, Minato's teammates, more of Kushina and the other parets from Naruto/Naruto Shippuden ETC. I like the idea.
Judging from all of your opinions I think they should make a novel adaptation, with each chapter totally focusing on every key and important side characters backstory from their early childhood to pre Naruto era, in this way they dont even have to drag one characters story for too long, each chapter could be like 10 episodes all focusing on one character.
Well what about a spin off about Sasuke after the war? I mean about him having atonement. And how he slowly but completely grows different from himself. And after a couple of that.I would want to see the travells Sasuke goes with Sakura. How they finally marry each other
It would be great to see how all the other people in the whole shinobi world will see the guy who wanted to destroy his owm village protect and save them.As well as the hatred focused on Uchiha.I'm pretty sure, Chinoke clan cannot be the only clan with a grudge. It'll awesome to see all that. And finally how Sasuke came up with 'Threat greater than Kaguya' thing and all.
Definitely the Sannin, when they were only genin and under Hiruzen's guidance. That would be separate enough from the main storyline to be new and exciting, all the while being familiar and similar to part 1.
Miss the part 1 setting, also would give us the chance to see prime Hiruzen in action, prime Sakumo...
Other than that, something completely different. Such as Amegakure before, during and after Konan died, with new interesting characters.
Only dreams now...
I'm most likely going to be alone on this one but I'd like to see more of Root. Did they really have any missions that would help protect the village or were they all for Danzo's benefit? How was the daily life of those brainwashed emotionless killing machines? How did they cope with things that didn't fit into their missions and orders? Etc.
Itachi spinoff, involving his girlfriend, Shisui, his mission as a double turned triple agent, and a detailed recount of the Uchiha massacre, but i wamt him to kill most everyone himself, not leaving women and children for Obito.
The events leading Kaguya to come to the main Naruto dimension and eating her fruit and going coocoo for coco puffs that eventually leads to..
There are so many possibilities that I cannot choose just one. An anthology would be the best solution.
- A spin-off about the founding of the other four villages. I really want to see how Ishikawa, First A, Reto and Byakuren united their clans to create Iwa, Kumo, Suna and Kiri.
- A spin-off on Hashirama and how he convinced the future first fire daimyo and leaders of Sarutobi, Hyuga, Shimura, Inuzuka, Nara, Akimichi, Yamanaka, Aburame clans of his idea of Konoha and the land of fire.
- A spin-off on the childhood of the previous generation of Jinchuriki. I want to see how Bunpuku, Rin Nohara, the former guests of Nibi, Yonbi, Gobi, Rokubi, Shichibi, Blue B and Kushina lived. I know that Kushina's life has already been touched on in the manga but her childhood in Uzushio, her family, her friends are still so mysterious. I would like some clarification on this part of her life.
- The disappearance of the Senju clan is also a good spin-off idea. Was it eradicated because of the great ninja wars or was it totally mixed with the civilian population of Konoha? An answer please.
- A spin-off on the Rookies' parents' youth. I would especially like to see a story about Tsume Inuzuka, Yoshino Nara, Mikoto Uchiha in their teams as kunoichi and not just housewives.
These are just suggestions but knowing the answer to these questions is more interesting to me than the manga Boruto.
