  • Is Menma's comment on Tenten being not the Tenten he knows being a hint that he knows this isn't her world? In a way, similar to how the "Road To Ninja" Sakura was somehow able to enter the real world temporarily?

    • Probably not. It's just trying to show how shrewd Menma is; he can tell Tenten is confused and doesn't know were she is

    • Still, it goes to show that Menma knows Tenten shouldn't even exist in his world, and could probably have helped her.

    • I think he was but that it was totally focused toward manipulating things to get her to stay in the illusion. I think if she had continued to reject the simulation it would have just reset itself and tried something different. In contrast the limited Tsukuyomi that created alternate Sakura and evil Menma were also self aware but because it was incomplete it actually allowed them to act against their programing. It's like their incomplete programming in the later case let them do more than they should have. Its the only way that makes any sense to me.

    • So, basically, Menma was acting like Agent Smith from the Matrix?

That would seem an accurate comparison.

    • That would actually make the Infinite Tsukuyomi a whole lot scarier. The characters in the victims' dreams are encouraging them to stay and eventually become White Zetsus.

The basis of IT is already that it makes you want to stay. So characters in it encouraging you to stay is pretty in line with it.

    • The worst part of all is how Menma seemed aware of Tenten not really from his world, yet was accepting that she was here to stay.
