  • I don't. I mean, Orochimaru is the kind of person that is always one step ahead, I don't know if Kishimoto or Shonen Jump would use him again, but is hard to think that he simply stoped doing human experiments and things like that. What do you think about that? Would you like if Orochimaru became the main villan again?

    • Well if he were reliable, Yamato wouldn't be watching over him, would he? And to be honest, Oro needs to be executed for the countless atrocities he's committed throughout his life. I hope he becomes a villain at some point and finally has his entrails ripped out.

    • Doubt it. His change in personality coupled with his realization off Jiraiya being better ensure that he won't go on wrong path.
And I doubt they would kill him given his huge contribution to 4th great ninja war(infact if that was the case sasuke/Kabuto would have been the first in line).

They owed him one for his indispensable help in the War. Without Orochimaru, mankind would've been done for. Without his experiments, Oro never could've given that help. Karma-wise, it cancels out.

I guess that's the assumption the Villages work under: Orochimaru's slate got wiped, he didn't reform into an ultimate good guy.

Also, consider now that he has Zetsu cells and considering the many things he saw in the War, he has decades of research to do (that doesn't involve murdering innocent people)

Yeah that's what happened to a few Nazis who helped the Allies during WWII, so it's understandable Oro was given amnesty. But he's still a disgusting man regardless.

Well I don't know. His youthful and FEMININE appearance is quite disturbing, since it has opened up the possibility that he possessed another hapless woman. Or maybe he accessed an inter-dimensional portal and went to Thailand to get a sex change. I dunno. Has the Boruto movie/manga shed any more light on Oro? Or the new novels? I have neither watched Boruto nor have bothered to read the manga. For some reason, the Infinite Tsukuyomi fillers killed all my interest for the franchise and I haven't kept up since. So maybe there's some new info about Oro that I don't know.

Boruto's manga is showing us the movie first, just like DBS, but I believe that i the next chapter they're going to end the movie content and start something original.

Yea i didn't really wanna make that connection. But yes, there are quite a few parallels between the aftermath of WWII and the aftermath of the 4th shinobi war. It seems that the kage realized they needed to pardon everyone in order to prevent a new cycle of hatred. It also seems that Orochimaru is allowed to do his experiments but only with consensus (and according to orochimaru's wording, Shin very much agreed to be experimented upon) and while being spied upon.

I don't really think we need to read too much into this. I simply think it's a side-effect of possessing the Zetsu (which actually are genderless) or the result of inserting DNA. And before he took over a Zetsu he was remade with Juugo's flesh and Anko's seal so it's possible that permanently changed his DNA.

I can understand, it was dragged out for so freaking long. Though i recommend watching the Final Fight, it truly was something to behold.
