On a more serious note, a little while back, a lot of unnecessary articles were created for all creatures of Sai's Super Beast Imitating Drawing and Deidara's C1 (some of which contained names with no source actually confirming them, making them borderline fanon, if not for the english names...)
The most well-known examples of game techniques being "too close to the original to have separate articles" are "Flapping Chidori" and "One-Tailed Rasengan" (the techniques Sasuke and Naruto used in the Valley of the End way back in Part I). For the most part, the vast majority agreed that they did not require separate articles, as there was no distinct difference between the jutsu and its progenitors (Chidori, Rasengan).
P.S. For now, I'm making all of those techniques redirects, as there was no discussion whether such similar articles should exist as different articles (which, let's be honest, there should've been a discussion...)
What distinct difference from the original should a technique from a video/card game have for us to "canonize" it? I'm eager to see some replies.
Edit: If you want a more recent example of such a discussion, please direct yourselves towards a discussion on "Wind Release: Rasenshuriken" and "True Wind Release: Rasenshuriken".
