  • When IT was casted, the humans were transformed into White Zetsu, right? So how come, if they are not copies, which I understood they aren't, they call that white Zetsu "the original white zetsu"? Can someone explain?

    • When Kaguya casted the Infinite Tsukuyomi before her sons defeated her, some of the people trapped in the genjutsu were turned in White Zetsu before Hagoromo could release them. The so called original White Zetsu is the first of the Zetsu that were extracted from the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path by Black Zetsu, while Madara thought he had created them through the use of Yin-Yang Release. The reason the other White Zetsu refer to him as the "original" was because they were created by Obito through the chakra of the seven tailed beasts that were sealed in the Demonic Statue before the Fourth Shinobi World War using the original White Zetsu as a model.

    • Because the White Zetsu Army was cloned from that one specific White Zetsu with databook entry that Sasuke killed. The article now claims otherwise, that the whole Army comes from Gedo Mazo thus was transformed people, but it's wrong... I wanted to correct it, but meh.

we have no proof which ones are Kaguya-era people transformed or which ones are actual clones. Its never specified.

    • Except it was. We were told the army was made using the Tailed Beasts' chakras and them calling the White Zetsu their original makes it obvious.

Except it WASNT. White Zetsu and Black Zetsu were also said to be created by Madara, and obviously we know thats not true. new info trumps old info, plus obviously the White Zetsus dont retain their memories, as Guruguru had no idea about taking a shit in this day and age. so your so called obviousness is nothing but your own fanfiction.

    • Not my problem you can't connect old info with new pal.

    • So basically:

Humans -> IT -> WZ Some WZ come out Obito takes one WZ and cloes him -> WZ army.

      Am i right?

    • The White Zetsu Army were also called "Parasite Clones" on one occasion, so I think Elveonora is right. No way to prove it though. It also doesn't explain what became of all the other originals, or how WZ didn't die at the Kage Summit. Such a confusing character/plot point.

It's not the IT that turns people into White Zetsu, that's there only so they can't resist. God: Nativity of a World of Trees does that.

But other than that he's right.
