Seeking answers, [[Sakura]] asked [[Hinata]], who had been watching with her [[Byakugan]], what she had seen. It is revealed that [[Obito]], while laying motionless on the top of the Ten-Tails, had initiated a [[Ten-Tails Sealing Technique|sealing technique]], which absorbed the Ten-Tails into himself, making him the new [[jinchūriki]]. Obito then emerges in his new transformation, free of all of his previous injuries. [[Naruto]] goes on to confirm this, stating that since he had become friends with the [[Tailed Beasts|tailed beasts]] previously, he was able to sense their [[chakra]] being sucked into Obito's body.<section end=summary /> He had also seen the [[Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique|Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique]], and noticed that the seals were completely different. Summary

The shinobi watch on in confusion as the Ten-Tails vanishes from the battlefield. As the shinobi sought answers, Hiashi watched on with his Byakugan, and Sakura asked Hinata, what she had seen. It is revealed that Obito, had in fact initiated a sealing technique, which allowed him to absorb the Ten-Tails into himself, making him the beast's new jinchūriki.
