The Super Secret S-Rank Mission (ドS級極秘任務, Doesu-kyū Gokuhi Ninmu) is episode 254 of the Naruto: Shippūden anime.
Summary
Naruto takes his top secret S-rank mission as an animal surveyor, which he didn't know that the mission is a fake in order for him not to know the upcoming war. Here Naruto uncovers Condor who had stowed away on the ship in a bid for freedom and encounters even more trouble from King, Don, Chūji and Hippo Boss who are in a spat over Armadiko's affections. Meanwhile at the Akatsuki hideout, Kabuto insists to Tobi that he will go to the island and will capture Naruto. He also includes capturing Yamato for his further experiments. Tobi, Kabuto and Zetsu enter a special room where the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path rests on a top of a flower and beneath on its stem lies Hashirama Senju's body. Beneath further from their feet is an army of 100,000 Zetsu ready to be deployed against the Allied Shinobi Forces. At Kumogakure, the Five Kage discuss their strategy as the Akatsuki now knows Naruto's whereabouts and Ōnoki volunteers to head to the island. Kabuto and the newly resurrected Deidara heads to the island, however Ōnoki ambushes them. However, the Kabuto and Deidara that he hit were revealed to be clay clones and the real Deidara detonates the clones along Ōnoki.
Trivia
- The brown undershirts and blue forehead protectors worn by Iwagakure shinobi have been changed to their distinctive crimson colour, accordingly to the manga.
