== Synopsis ==
As the [[Akatsuki]] extraction continues, [[Pakkun]] finds the organisation's hideout. The next morning, Pakkun relays his discovery of Akatsuki's hideout to [[Kakashi]]. Once [[Naruto]] wakes up, everyone, except [[Kankurō]], gets ready to set out. Before anyone can take off, however, [[Baki]] intervenes and tells Temari that she and her squad will remain in the village on border patrol as an order by their superiors due to the possibilty of other villages attacking [[Suna]].

[[Team Guy]]'s journey is interrupted when Pakkun meets them. He tells them that Kakashi and the others are headed to the [[Land of Rivers]], which is between the Sunagakure and the Konohagakure.

Elsewhere in a forest, Sakura and Naruto converse about how long Akatsuki has been after Naruto, but Naruto says they have only recently been active. While Kakashi believes it has to do with Naruto being around [[Jiraiya]] the whole time, Chiyo's says a lot of preparation goes into extracting a [[tailed beast]] from a person's body. The tailed beasts contain enormous amounts of [[chakra]] and were wanted during the Great Ninja War when villages could use their power for their own advantage.

[[Zetsu]] then warns the rest of Akatsuki that the Konoha shinobi are near, and Kisame volunteers to fight [[Guy]]. As Akatsuki's [[Nagato|leader]] questions if [[Deidara]] could have pulled off such a mission, they are interrupted by Zetsu. Meanwhile, Kakashi's group is confronted by [[Itachi]].
