[[Sasori]] catches up to [[Deidara]] and the two were ready to make off with their [[Gaara|target]]. Kankurō is later found and brought back to Suna's hospital. The [[poison]] spreads in his body and that no one in the Suna knows how to extract it. En route to the Sunagakure, [[Team Kakashi]] spot [[Temari]], who joins them upon hearing what happened to [[Gaara]]. While travelling, Naruto weeps about the situation Gaara is in. Kankurō's condition worsens, and his body is in such a weak condition that he could barely speak. Despite this, he is able to tell [[Baki]] about Sasori. Baki approachea and informa the [[Honoured Siblings|two]] about Gaara's capture by [[Akatsuki]] and [[Kankurō]]'s condition. Despite displaying disinterest, [[Chiyo]] still wants to see her grandson, [[Sasori]], one more time.
