The sealing technique used by Obito and Madara Uchiha to seal the Ten-Tails into themselves, becoming the beast's jinchūriki. After performing the necessary hand seals while in contact with the Ten-Tails' body, the beast is quickly absorbed into the human's own body. When absorption is completed, the user undergoes a transformation and what seems to be the seal for this technique appears on their back. Madara's seal appeared as a circular design containing a ripple-like pattern with nine magatama, in three rows of three magatama each, beneath it. Obito's version instead had a larger magatama on top, which also had a ripple-like pattern within it.[1] Six magatama also appear around their necks. The same seal as Madara's appears on Hagoromo's back as well. [2]

Trivia

  • The design that appears on the user's back after they seal the beast resembles the one imprinted on the back of the Sage of the Six Paths' haori.
  • Both Madara and Obito's appearance when they have control as a jinchūriki greatly resemble the Sage to the point where even his shakujō seems to be automatically recreated from the Truth-Seeking Balls.
