Team Three was formed when the Three-Tailed Giant Turtle appeared. Their mission was to seal the Three-Tails using the Four-Corner Sealing Barrier technique. To do so, all the members of the team need to have precise chakra control.
Shizune
Main article: Shizune Because of medical ninjutsu, Shizune can perform tricky techniques using precise chakra control. She is the leader of the team.
Sakura Haruno
Main article: Sakura Haruno Sakura's chakra control is probably the most advanced in the team, as she can perform complex medical ninjutsu and control chakra into one area in her fist, which comes to great service in the sealing of the Three-Tails.
Hinata Hyūga
Main article: Hinata Hyūga She has no ability and skill in medical ninjutsu, but her inheritance from being part of the Hyūga clan is quite fortunate and her chakra control is up to par with a medical ninja. Hinata's Gentle Fist techniques also control chakra precisely, similarily to medical techniques, but is used to attack with condensed chakra, making it very useful for sealing the Three-Tails. Her Byakugan will also allow her to tell how much more chakra is needed to seal the beast, how much chakra is in use, and the amount of chakra the Three-Tails has, rendering her a great boost for the team.
Ino Yamanaka
Main article: Ino Yamanaka Ino is another member of the team that can perform advanced medical ninjutsu, which require a lot of controlled chakra. Ino initially struggled to keep up such precise chakra control. She also had the lowest amount of chakra in the group, reaching her limit the fastest.
Katsuyu
Main article: Katsuyu Katsuyu, the slug queen summoned by Tsunade, splits herself into smaller slugs to aid Team Three, along with the two other teams. She attaches herself to every member of the three teams and supplies them with extra chakra so they can finish sealing the Three-Tails and fend off Guren and Orochimaru's subordinates.
