Cross[]

I know we know practically nothing about religion in the world of Naruto, but does anyone else find it odd that Haku has a cross on his grave? 67.139.65.114 (talk) 01:13, March 26, 2011 (UTC)

This isn't a forum, so this isn't the place for that kind of discussion. And Zabuza's has a cross in front of his too. His sword is just blocking most of it from sight.Ryne 91 (talk) 01:19, March 26, 2011 (UTC)Ryne
The cross as a grave marker is widely known in Japan, even beyond its originally Christian meaning. Traditional Japanese grave stones are engraved stone pillars, which can be very difficult to come by on short notice in a poor country like the Land of Waves. In times of need, a simple wooden cross is easy to make and quite adequate. I believe they were even used by the Japanese army in real life during WWII. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 12:53, March 26, 2011 (UTC)
