Shouldn't we call this "Eight-Span Mirror" or Yata no Kagami" instead? Like Decapitating Carving Knife or Samehada. Instead of a half translation, make it a full. Yatanogarasu 23:38, November 22, 2010 (UTC)
- I kinda agree, but I guess this is the form we use, as with "Sword of Kusanagi" instead of "Grass-cutter Sword" or "Kusanagi no Tsurugi." --GoDai (talk) 08:34, December 8, 2010 (UTC)
Changes accordingly to Nature Transformation?
In the article, it mentions: "is endowed with all nature transformations, it can change its own characteristics depending on the characteristics of the attack it receives, making the technique ineffective." I did not see this being mentioned in Naruto chapter 393, page 9 or the Third Databook. Did this information come from a Fanbook?--126.96.36.199 (talk) 15:29, February 6, 2012 (UTC)
i think we need to add some points to the thread . as there are characteristics more than just handling elemental jutsus . in the third databook , it is said that it can repel any attack , whether it was material , spiritual , ninjutsu , or physical . --Chaos90 21:22, November 14, 2012 (UTC)
from shounensuki’s translation > the shield in his left hand is the Yata Mirror that will reflect all attacks. Whether they be material or spiritual, ninjutsu or physical attacks, they all lose their meaning before this god's potency. < , it should be added to the thread .
