Should we discuss it here, before we do anything else again

I think the image is quite suiting as the Valley was created from the fight, and the fact that we dont have any other images at the moment... also that peding deletion is placed on so many bloody pictures its ridicilous... nuf said

Well I got rid of the image for one the deletion thing (which wouldn't be a problem if people knew the rules of putting images up.) and 2 where it was. It made the text fugly and I wasn't going to be the one to fix it...until I just did.--TheUltimate3 18:23, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

The Name

I didn't find an entrance for the Valley of the End in the Second Naruto Databook. However while trying to look for the Japanese pronunciation of the name, I listened to episode 134 and at time index 4:52 Sasuke reveals the name and he says Shūmatsu no Tani, which literally by the kanji is end end or Final End Valley...which can be translated simply as Valley of the End. I've looked up the Kanji and I'm going to insert them. I have no other evidence that this isn't the proper name, but if anyone has evidence otherwise please revert or correct. The current version is, 終わりの谷 Owari no Tani- Valley of the End and the "accurate version" based on Sasuke's dialogue in the anime is 終末の谷 Shūmatsu no Tani-Valley of the End. I remember that the manga said "Final Valley" too. Madara uchiha99 (talk), Kanji: うちは マダラ 九十九, Romaji: Uchiha madara kyū-jū-kyū 23:02, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Source for where you read the manga? ~NOTASTAFF Daniel Friesen (DanTMan, Nadir Seen Fire) (talk) Apr 28, 2009 @ 04:16 (UTC)

The article states that Naruto and Sasuke's battle was a draw...does ANYONE agree with this??Dartblaze (talk) 06:04, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

I personally don't. I feel Sauske won, but felt that he could not achieve the power Itachi's way. Flashfire Master of Flames 06:07, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

It definitly was not a draw. If Sasuke really wanted to, he could have killed Naruto.

According to the second databook, the valley is located near the border of the land of Fire and Otogakure, not on the border. I tried to see if the manga said anything about it, but I couldn't find the chapter where the valley was first introduced. Could anyone help me? —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 11:26, November 8, 2010 (UTC)

Isn't the fanbook written by fans? SimAnt 14:13, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
I didn't mention the fanbooks, but no, they are written by Kishimoto-sensei as well. They are called fanbooks, because they actually do have fan-related content like fanart and games. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 15:42, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
I'm thinking it was said in the anime. But it's been close to three years since I've seen that part of the show so I'm just going to go ahead and change it. On the border/close to the border seem very similar to me anyway but /shrug we have databook confirmation.--TheUltimate3 ~The User King ~ 15:51, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
In Viz's translation of chapter 232, Sasuke says, "We're at the border they call the Final Valley." That's the only statement on its location that I could find. ~SnapperTo 17:39, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
The Japanese manga has a similar phrase. I think the logical conclusion is that the Valley of the End is not exactly on the border, but close enough to be considered the border. Perhaps the border is actually behind the statues, where Sasuke disappears into the darkness. —ShounenSuki (talk | contribs | translations) 18:32, November 8, 2010 (UTC)
So not on the border, but close enough to be on the border...Ok I think I can get that to work.--TheUltimate3 ~The User King ~ 18:36, November 8, 2010 (UTC)

An explanation

If anyone is wondering why I keep removing it, see the discussion we had over the animated content on this page. Skitts (talk) 16:59, February 28, 2012 (UTC)

I'm aware. And I'm about to piss a lot of people off.--TheUltimate3 ~Keeper of Lore~ 17:03, February 28, 2012 (UTC)
