So is it proven that this is not indeed just a scare tactic or was the rest just taken off to protect copyright? I suppose if Guy could masquerade as a turtle, it would be possible to force something like this on someone else. Mr. Briggs Inc. 23:21, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Summoning or Transformation?
- Unless I am mistaken, he summons the toad around the target.

Ah, okay. I always thought it was a simple summoning because that was what the wikia said about it in about September, which was the last time I looked at it. Ryne 91 (talk) 18:32, March 31, 2010 (UTC) Ryne

- "Mental Image" means Jiraiya thought of what he wanted Ryusui to look like and then changed him into that form.--Deva 27 (talk) 06:23, May 20, 2010 (UTC)
How long does it last?
How long does it last? A set period of time? Until the person figures out how to reverse it? Until Jiraiya reverses it? Until a certain condition is met? Or is it permanent? Skarrj (talk) 19:20, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
- If it's not mentioned in the page, we don't know. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 19:51, July 16, 2012 (UTC)
Naruto's usage (Chikara Arc)
Naruto couldn't have just turned a snake into a toad. If this isn't "proof" enough, the colour and species (tree frog) of the frog is also the same, so, call me crazy, but I think it's the same.--Omojuze (talk) 15:56, January 1, 2015 (UTC)
