anime

why are people being retardedly stubborn about the anime? its design is not canon compared to the manga. Sasukes hawk has the proper pic, people are acting braindead around here.--AskinNakkLeVaar (talk) 09:58, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

First off, you really need to lose the attitude and stop acting like such a whiny brat, or I will personally contact a sysop and have you blocked.

Two, spamming the same link over and over is not going to help your case.

Three, that is totally different, because it's a huge difference. The sword is not a character and therefore, does not apply in this case.

Seriously, why can't we just show both in the infobox? Isn't that how we always proceeded when there was a difference between manga and anime? Norleon (talk) 15:34, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

I don't believe the difference in swords is significant enough to warrant the manga image, especially as the trivia section indicates the anime depiction is actually closer to the real life depiction that Kishi was likely trying to replicate but failed in doing so.

Plus, I'm pretty sure a consensus was reached to remove manga images when anime ones exist and aren't so significantly different to be confusing to readers.

Manga images are generally only kept if the anime has a significant error (example: Kurama's foot during Minato/Kushina's flashback after Naruto took Kurama's chakra). --SuperSajuuk (talk) 16:05, March 4, 2016 (UTC)

I see that the wikia is still afflicted by Pestilence. Any ways, it has been changed to reflect the manga depiction of the sword in the infobox as well. While I understand that people may not want the infoboxes to be bogged down, but that's what the feature was created for.--Cerez365^™
