Correct Terminology[]
So, this may seem like nit-picking, but currently the wiki uses the term "path" to refer to the six bodies employed by this technique, but this is never actually done in the series. In relation to the Rinnegan, "path" (道) only appears as part of the term "Six Paths" and in the individual technique names, never as a standalone word for the bodies. If anything, the correct term for them should probably be "Pains" based on how Nagato himself refers to them (Viz: "...the last Pain is broken"). Also, he refers to Yahiko's body as the "Deva Path Pain" a couple of times, which could potentially be used for the names of the Pains' articles (e.g. have the technique article be called "Preta Path", while the body's article is called "Preta Path Pain", and so on).--BeyondRed (talk) 21:29, August 8, 2017 (UTC)
- 'Deva Path Pain' could be a shorter version of 'Pain of the Deva Path'. --Rautamiekka (talk) 12:32, August 9, 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was just saying it could be an alternative to calling the articles "Naraka Path (character)" etc. Calling Yahiko's body Deva Path Pain is no more correct than just Deva Path, since Nagato uses both. The more important point is that calling the bodies "paths" is wrong.--BeyondRed (talk) 00:22, August 10, 2017 (UTC)
