How do we know that deva path is the one that uses this jutsu?

Because it's the Deva path's silhouette. ~SnapperTo 18:26, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Ya but he could have had one of his other paths do the jutsu. 208.191.144.215 (talk) 05:39, December 26, 2009 (UTC)

kekkei genkai

isn't this jutsu a kekkei genkai? --94.183.155.7 (talk) 17:41, January 21, 2010 (UTC)

Not according to the data book. ~SnapperTo 23:05, January 21, 2010 (UTC)

Question

The sacrifice that Pain uses for his technique, did he die before the technique begins or after, where a person kills the copy (Naruto, for exemple, with his big ball rasengan againt Itachi)? In the article, it says that the original person (Itachi, for exemple) controls the copy, but when the copy of Itachi is talking to Naruto and company, is it really Itachi who is speaking through the body of Yura? And if so, how is that possible as the sacrifice (Yura) is not dead (in the case where the sacrifice die after the technique begins)? 41.248.216.207 (talk) 22:03, September 6, 2011 (UTC)

That's what the databook entry emplies. It says "Transferring one's chakra to a sacrifice and possessing them. As long as they stay alive, they'll play the part of a strong person!!", according to ShounenSuki's translation. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:09, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
Also, there is not an error in the article?: because in the third databook, it is said "once the chakra runs out, the technique is cancelled and the copy dies." and in the article "once the chakra runs out, or the copy dies, the technique is cancelled." 41.248.127.156 (talk) 22:17, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
Maybe the chakra in "the chakra runs out" means all the available chakra, both the one donated by the technique the person's the technique is used on? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 22:36, September 6, 2011 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for your answers. 41.248.216.207 (talk) 02:58, September 7, 2011 (UTC)

In the article, it is said: "As it even uses up the sacrifices chakra, this is an incredibly brutal technique." What does that mean? In my opinion it means that the entire chakra of the sacrifice is used for the operation of the technique, in addition of the chakra of Pain. Is that correct? 41.248.195.6 (talk) 16:12, October 20, 2011 (UTC)

Yes. It's a brutal technique because it drains even the sacrifice's chakra. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 18:17, October 20, 2011 (UTC)
