Unfortunally there might not be Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, there was a recent interview from the team at CC2, and they have said the game will go from the very beginning from part one, all the way up to when Naruto and Sasuke clash at the end of the Kage Summit Arc. Anime-Filler Characters

What I wanna know is if they are going to put any filler type characters in because I've always wanted to see if they could add the jinchuuriki's besides Gaara(0ne Tailed), Naruto(Nine Tailed), and Killer Bee(Eight Tailed). Since they already showcased some of Yugito Nii's(Two Tailed) abilities, Roshi's(Four Tailed) abilties,a lot of Utakata's(Six Tailed) abilities, Sora's abilities(Nine Tailed Psuedo Jinchuuriki) and maybe Ginkaku and Kinkaku abilities (Nine Tailed Chakra inside them),maybe they could put them in the game too I always wanted that to happen! —This unsigned comment was made by 69.57.114.241 (talk • contribs) .

We hardly know anything about Yugito and Rōshi in the manga for them to have decent movesets, and to be playable characters. Utakata's abilities shown in the anime are anime-only so far, and they don't put characters from the fillers in video games, so no Sora. I don't think Ginkaku and Kinkaku will be there, they were introduced very recently, most likely after the game was already into production. Only once has there been an anime-only character, in the Ultimate Ninja Series. Or more specifically, a movie-only character and that was Dotō Kazahana in the Japanese version of Ultimate Ninja 2. I highly doubt they will ever do that again. Lars Alexanderson was only added in the Ultimate Ninja Storm 2, because Kishimoto-sensei created a costume for him in Tekken 6. Also considering they will put two generations worth of important shinobi as playable characters into Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations, the developers won't fiddle with anime-only characters. Should we add that certain characters (example Ao, Chojuro, Kurotsuchi and Aotsuchi) are support only characters? I know that the developers said that certain characters will be support only. I really hope he is included. And I wish a lot of characters that are not included were now playable, at least as support. Naruto UNS movesets and awakenings are different from Naruto UNS2's ones. Also the movesets of the characters who are not children in the first part such as kakashi, tsunade, ...... Judging from the videos I've seen, as of now the moveset from Storm 1 DO return, but the ultimates have been shortened to Storm 2's style, at least that's what it showed in a young Naruto gameplay video during the summer. ````

Very unlikely. The Akatsuki scans showed artwork and shots of all of them apart from Zetsu. Fundamentally confirming him non-playable. But then again Danzo was not in the five-kage scans and later revealed in another. But that could be argued because of the Hiruzen set and him not being a real kage.

Amount of Characters confirmed

I've also counted it up, we're sitting at 64 characters already, 65 if Jacket Shikamaru is different from Part 1 and Part 2. Even more if say Sage, Hokage, Black outfit, white outfit, Taka outfit and Akatsuki outfit count differently, though I doubt it. So, having counted, there are 4 Naruto, 4 Sasuke, 2 Kakashi, 2(maybe) Minato, and 2(3?) Shikamaru. Still no Chiyo or Sound 4. I believe support only will stay as such, as they didn't really fight in the Kage Summit arc that much, and considering they won't add anyone who they'd have to make up move sets for, Iruka was an example, since this only goes up to the end of the Kage Summit Arc. --Draccy (talk) 05:43, September 22, 2011 (UTC)

Kurenai was playable only in the first Storm game, right? I don't think she was in the second one, but I could easily be wrong, obviously. I haven't really been paying attention to news on this game; was it confirmed that all the characters from the two previous titles would be returning? Tobi's awakening

Looking at the screenshots of Tobi posted on the official Japanese Generations website: http://www.bandaigames.channel.or.jp/list/naruto_g/character/akatsuki/tobi.html It seems that Tobi either does not have an awakening this time around or has been modified and yet to be revealed. However, seeing as there are no screens of him using his Sharingan unlike in the past Storm 2 screens on the official website: http://www.bandaigames.channel.or.jp/list/naruto_storm2/character/character03.html I believe it is safe to say that his awakening will not consist of him utilizing the Sharingan nor his Madara persona.

Subsequently, it's very likely Madara Uchiha (masked) will be a separate character from Tobi given that he was featured in Impact. Regardless, I don't think this Tobi should be stated to have Sharingan mode until it's confirmed. --Axel Carnage (talk) 21:52, December 16, 2011 (UTC)

Feel free to tell me why Tobi has no awakening in the screenshots posted on the Generations website, which he did have on the Storm 2 site, whereas all of the other Sharingan users show their dojutsu off in their respective screenshots on the official Japanese Generations website.

Either way, it is fact that we have no yet seen him go from goofy Tobi awakening into Madara at all in Generations (or undergo any awakening for that matter). Just because the same cinematic was included in the trailer does not prove anything. As I stated, it could very well be that CC2 reused the awakening cutscene for the new Madara that has yet to be revealed. Stop jumping to conclusions and have some damn patience and wait for solid evidence instead of posting speculative/possibly false information. Is it really that hard to wait? The trailer clearly shows the zooming in that happens an awakening happens, that is a sheer fact. This is what you're ignoring. This has nothing to do with speculation or bias. Unless you have a way to verify and confirm that they used stock footage just for the sake of filling, instead of, you know, the awakening being the same, we have to take their word for it. Since you have brought on speculation to the table, let me say a few words myself. I'm not going to repeat myself a lot on that, because the problem you have with speculation I have already outlined in your talk page last time you went on a speculation rampage. There have been some issues (and not few) in which I simply said "this can go, either way, I don't care". The most recent that comes to mind is merging two Lava Release techniques. I believe that by "aren't a comprehensive list of speculations and theories" you mean that I don't support making theories? As long as they don't go into the articles, where few of them are actually good listing, you insist in inserting things that might be wrong (your adding that Tobi killed Konan with genjutsu, for example), instead of just pointing something that might be an inconsistency due to revelation of more information (does Tsunade have Lightning Release, considering A does something she does on a bigger scale with Lightning Release?). I have made tons of speculations on nature transformation, but you don't see me trying to pass those as fact in articles, I have kept those in my own subpage, away from any articles, as have other users. That is based on the fact there were previous confirmations that characters from the previous Ultimate Ninja Storm games would be in it. Most of the characters in this page were added from that, we're simply updating the page on things that contradict that as more information is revealed.
