Pillars

The two pillars, one for Nagato, and the other for Yahiko, under the ripple Rinningan pattern... do they not represent the respective pillars of peace that both Nagato and Yahiko claimed to be to support the 'Bridge to Peace' in life? Dragon Hacker (talk) 15:55, March 2, 2012 (UTC)

You could say that. However they could just be pillars.--Cerez365Hyūga Symbol
True, though they are VERY prominent and specifically placed, especially for support pillars that could just be in the background, or just as easily not be included at all. Dragon Hacker (talk) 20:28, March 2, 2012 (UTC)
...I think they're just pillars. Had there been, say, a bridge, a mention of this may have been apt, but alas it is not. I could say that because there is space between the two pillars that it is a reference to the meaning of Hashirama Senju's name, but it's just conjecture. Skitts (talk) 20:30, March 2, 2012 (UTC)
Fair enough, though for me it seems much too coincidental, especially since other aspects of the shrine all tie into the orphans lives, like the Rinningan floor pattern, or the angels in the walls, and the pillars central prominence in an otherwise plain space.
