Listed As Jutsu

Is this a jutsu or a tool? I personally think it sounds like a tool you focus chakra through, like asumas blades. (talk) 19:08, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

The databook lists it as ninjutsu. ~SnapperTo 19:14, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Then maybe its a technique, and a seperate article is needed for the actual tool that the ninjutsu is focused through; You don't install ninjutsu onto a puppet/replacement arm, you install tools that can use ninjutsu. (talk) 19:17, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
Maybe the puppet is the tool? ~SnapperTo 19:19, 10 June 2009 (UTC)
I see it as a medium to which the jutsu is used through. It uses chakra, so, to me, its a Jutsu. Asuma's blades are a tool. When he uses Chakra Flow, it's a jutsu.SharinganMike (talk) 19:59, January 4, 2011 (UTC)

Continuous use?

I was under the impression that the mechanical light shield block could only be used once but in episode 280 Kankuro is shown using it twice in a row. Is this just non canon nonsense or is it that way in the manga too?--Aburame41 (talk) 21:06, August 5, 2013 (UTC)

When Chiyo used the shield against Sasori and the third kazekage puppet, the iron sand got into the joints of the puppet arms, thus disabling them. So unless the databook says something different or I have forgotten anything, the shield can be reused. Jacce | Talk | Contributions 04:38, August 6, 2013 (UTC)
